Funding & Fees
£105 per day which includes all meals and snacks plus our engaging early years programme including trips.
Families using The WonderWorks may be entitled to claim up to 570 hours of government funded childcare hours per year (known as the universal 15 hours childcare offer).
· Sign a funding form held at the nursery to claim these hours, this form will be reviewed termly, and updated annually.
· Provide any applicable funding codes to the nursery for the nursery to claim these ‘free’ hours back.
From September 2025, the 15 hours for working parents of children under 3 expanded to 30 hours, meaning eligible working families can claim 30 hours of childcare all the way through from the term after their child turns 9 months to school age.
Please note that the nursery is a full year nursery - we do not offer term time only places. Funding will be stretched over the 50 weeks we are open. If families do not want to use the setting during the school holidays, their child’s space will be protected when they don’t attend, but our full fees and charges will apply whether their child attends or not.

Both our boys attend Wonderworks and have done for a number of years now! They love the outdoor play and mini trips taken with their friends. Our eldest has been struggling since his friends started school (he's a November baby so had to wait another year) the team have been amazing in encouraging more independent learning to help him explore his interests and challenging him to keep learning! Our 2 year old is at the best age for Wonderworks, so many activities available to him, foods great, everyone's really warm and caring and he loves it! Waves goodbye to us at the door and doesn't look back!
Thank you for taking the time to write us this lovely review :)
My girls have been going to the Wonderworks for around 8 months and they love it. They seem to do a variety of activities daily and special events too, such as a recent trip to the theatre. The food seems well thought through and healthy and the nursery is a clean, modern and friendly environment for them to spend time in. The location fits really well with where my husband works, as do the nursery's opening hours. We also receive regular useful in-depth reports on our daughters' development which are really helpful and reassuring.
Thank you for taking the time to share this wonderful review :)
Our girls are always excited to attend and we really appreciate the daily communication with the staff, who are consistently professional, kind and attentive. It's wonderful to see them come home with a new song or a new skill they've learned in class.
We are all very happy with our experience.
Thank you for sharing and supporting our team, we are glad you are very happy and the team will enjoy reading this review I am sure :)
Our son is currently in the Forest School and the transformation in his resilience and confidence has been amazing. Although I was initially hesitant about the 'all-weathers' outdoor policy, seeing him roam freely and develop a genuine love for nature has been wonderful. He's become so much stronger and more inquisitive, both at nursery and at home.
The team is also incredibly proactive with individual needs. They have been supportive and communicative since day one, and each member of staff is extremely kind and empathetic. Communication through their app is seamless, providing clear updates on meals & sleep which gives us total peace of mind.
Thank you for taking the time to send in this wonderful review. I am sure the team will enjoy reading this :)
The WonerWorks is truly setting the bar high in the nursery world. They have created a home away from home and I couldn't be more grateful, as a mother, for the start they have given my children in life. The warm, homely environment that chimes through the WonderWorks is more than the aesthetic. It begins with the staff who consistently give one hundred percent from the moment they start their day. WonderWorks you are one of a kind and I couldn't think of another setting who are more deserving of recognition. Thank you for everything.

Everyone at the nest works so hard to help us as a family. As a parent, I can trust I'm leaving my child In the best hands. My baby has such confidence and is growing so much everyday. The care, daily interactions and activities are such a positive experience for our little one. It adds to my child's ability to take off in this big world!
Thank you for taking the time to send us this wonderful review :)
My son had a delightful experience at WonderWorks. Within two weeks his vocabulary had shot up, his excitement with being outside shot up. He tried so many new foods, some he loved, some he didn't but he didn't stop talking about the food for weeks after. Safeguarding is spot on, everyone was very thorough and I never felt that I needed to worry about him. I would and have recommended them to everyone I know that has children.
Thank you for taking the time to send us this wonderful review :)
Absolutely brilliant nursery for our daughter and she loves all of the outdoor space, friendly atmosphere and enthusiastic and attentive staff! The Wonderworks has given our little one the best possible start in life and provided her with all of the tools that she will need as she progresses to school next year. We couldn't recommend more!
Thank you for taking the time to support our team and sharing this review :)
We have been part of The WonderWorks network for years; our eldest son attended for over two years, so returning with our youngest was a given. He has been here for nine months now, and the experience remains exceptional.
It is a credit to the management that even after a three-year gap, so many of the same faces are still there. This low staff turnover creates such a stable, high-quality environment. There is total transparency, the food is excellent, and the handovers are always thorough. Most importantly, our son never worries about going in-he is always happy to start his day.
The facilities are genuinely impressive; the air conditioning is a lifesaver in summer, and the outdoor space is amazing for the location. While I can't name individuals, so many staff members go above and beyond. From the parent events to the quality of the staff, this nursery is a level above any other I have seen or heard of. Everything is a five-star experience.

Teachers enthusiasm for teaching and genuine care for the kids has made a world of difference to our family. The teachers truly understand our child and care deeply about their growth. Facilities are great.

We've had a really positive experience with The Wonderworks and are very happy to have found them. They were extremely supportive in our onboarding process and since have created a warm, nurturing environment where our child feels happy, safe, and excited to go each day.
They place a strong emphasis on working in partnership with parents, with clear and thoughtful communication which helps us feel connected and involved. We also really value how they encourage friendships among the children, helping to build confidence and social skills from an early age.
The team are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child as an individual. We couldn't be happier with the care and support they provide
Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. We appreciate your support :)
We have been impressed with how welcoming the team are and how quickly our son has settled in. All the staff are approachable and supportive and our son is excited to go back every day!
Communication and updates are excellent and our son is trying new homemade food everyday.

I couldn't ask for anything more in a nursery! All the teachers and staff are lovely, fun and nurturing. The range of activities and projects they curate for the kids each week is amazing. My son has the best time there every day.
Thank you for taking the time to share this wonderful review for our team! We are glad you are having a great nursery experience :)
I'm really happy with this nursery. They offer a wide range of activities for the children, and all the staff are amazing. I really appreciate how clearly and respectfully they communicate with us. My daughter is very happy here and is learning so fast.
Thank you for taking the time to send us this lovely review. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve please do send us an email so we can ensure you are fully happy with every area of nursery life :)
I couldn't be happier with the Wonderworks nursery. My 1 year old son settled in so quickly and genuinely loves going each day. The settling in process was handled so well and made everything feel seamless. It's such a safe, caring and stimulating environment and the teachers are truly fantastic - he is really thriving here!
Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review for our team :)
WonderWorks has been amazing for our family. The care from staff is genuinely excellent and you can really feel how much they love what they do. The feedback at pick-up is like nothing else, you always leave knowing exactly how your child's day went. The range of activities and exposure the preschool kids get is unlike any other nursery I've seen. When it came time to choose for my second daughter, I didn't even look elsewhere - I knew WonderWorks was the one.
Thank you for taking the time to send us this wonderful review :)
She has made real friends there and I have seen her grow and develop so many amazing skills over the months she has been there. The nursery host a magnitude of creative events and focus on the children's development whilst also creating a real home from home experience. I am so happy I chose this nursery for my daughter and will be sending my baby there too when I return to work after this pregnancy.
Thank you for taking the time to send us this lovely review :)
My child started at TheWonderWorks in the middle of this year after we moved to the area. They are 3.5 years old and have been with another nursery since they were six months old. I was very worried about how switching nurseries would affect them. I could not have been more pleased. My child is thriving and comes home happy and excited. I particularly like the approach to learning and growth - everything is child-led rather than a traditional didactic teaching programme. I wish we could have started here sooner!
Thank you so much for your kind review. We're thrilled to hear how well your child has settled in and is thriving with us. It's always a big step changing nurseries, so we're glad the transition has been so positive. We're especially happy our child-led approach is supporting their growth and excitement for learning. We're delighted to have your family with us!
The Wonderworks nursery has been amazing and provides a wonderful, loving and caring environment for toddlers and babies where the staff really care for and get to know each child. It provides a warm and calming setting and focuses on creative and stimulating activities and has a large outdoor space that the older children, in particular, can take full advantage of. The 'nest' has lovely toys and daily activity trays set up for the babies and has a quiet space with 'sleep pods' for the babies to sleep in. My first born started here at 1 and my second at 9 months and both have always slept and napped really well. The food provided is excellent, varied and healthy. The nursery also goes out of its way to organise trips to parks, outings to museums and an annual Summer Fair which the children thoroughly enjoy. I feel very lucky that my children are so happy here and that they love going in in the morning.
Thank you so much for your lovely review. We're so pleased to hear how happy your children are at The Wonderworks and that you've felt supported throughout their time with us. It's wonderful to know they enjoy the setting, activities, outdoor space, and healthy meals. We truly appreciate your kind words and the trust you've placed in us.
We couldn't be happier with our experience at this nursery. The team are extremely caring, kind, and attentive. My daughter attended for several years, and every single day was a joy for her - it truly became a second home. The management team and teachers are wonderful; they create such a nurturing, supportive, and fun environment. Even the food that goes on their dishes is well thought out, showing how much care and attention goes into every part of the children's day. We are so grateful for the love and guidance they've given her.
Thank you for your lovely review! It's been a joy to care for your daughter and see her grow. We're so glad she felt at home with us and truly appreciate your kind words and support. Wishing you all the very best for the future!

Meet the Team (12)
After completing my Level 3 qualification in childcare at college, I gained experience in a variety of nursery settings, working my way up to a manager role. This journey has allowed me to support children, families, and staff teams by sharing the knowledge and skills I have developed over the years.
I have extensive experience as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, SENCO, and Behavioural Support Lead. I am currently completing my Level 5 qualification to continue growing and updating my professional knowledge.
I take great joy in working with the children, whose unique personalities ensure that no day is ever the same. I bring an understanding and gentle nature to my work to ensure every child feels listened to, valued, and supported.
Outside of work, I love being in nature and surrounding myself with plants at home, so I am especially excited to be part of a nursery with a passion for being outdoors. I also enjoy baking, knitting, anything creative, reading, going to the gym, and learning new things.
As a Deputy Manager, I focus my support on the team and maintaining the administrative side of the daily running of the nursery. I have found a new passion for this, and see how important it is to have structure and stability not just for the children, but in communications with parents, in billing and finances, and in other non-contact areas of the nursery.
Since leaving my room-based role, I keep in touch by covering the team to carry out training courses or lunch breaks, and I look forward to this in a different way. Now when I spend time with the children I'm able to see big leaps in development, and observe the changes in the environment and compliment the team for their hard work.
I have been in childcare for over ten years now, I have worked my way up from a Nursery Teacher to Room Leader, third in charge, Deputy Manager and now am the Programme Manager.
I have also worked as a travel nanny and in the crèche onboard Disney cruise lines. I have been with the WonderWorks since we opened in 2020. I started in The Burrow room (2-4 years) as a Nursery Teacher before becoming the Room Lead, I then moved to The Nest (under 2’s) and was promoted to a Deputy Manager. I am now the Programme Manager which means I support the whole team and company with our approach, curriculum and pedagogy.”
What do you love about working at The WonderWorks?
“I love working at the WonderWorks as the approach is all about the children. I love that a big part of working here is all about learning and that’s not just the children, it’s us too! I love how Hygge the nursery always feels and how the children are truly respected as individuals.
I enjoy supporting the team and their development as well as the children’s. I am so glad that The WonderWorks is here to support families in the film industry and I am happy to be a part of that. My favourite thing about working here would have to be seeing the children daily and all the milestones that we share together
I have been a passionate early year’s educator for thirty years and have a range of invaluable experiences working with children of different ages and abilities. I have worked as a youth worker, a Mencap play scheme manager and a nursery nurse in the nursery of a local primary school. On a personal level, whilst raising two daughters and working part time I gained my first class degree in Early Years and Education. I then went on to become the manager of a privately owned nursery before I embarked upon my exciting journey here at the WonderWorks, in June 2022.
I find my role as an Educator rewarding and enjoyable privilege. On a daily basis I ensure that I continue to gain a wider knowledge of our children, their interests and their cultural capital. This allows me to work with our amazing team, to support all of our children to become independent learners and reach their full potential.
What do you love most about working at The WonderWorks?
“Being part of an initiative To Keep Families in Film is an honour, as my husband, our two teenage daughters and I are avid film fanatics. Working for the WonderWorks has allowed me to immerse myself within a nursery where I can continue to grow personally and professionally, believing in their ethos and ambitions by putting the children at the core of all we do.
What job could be better! Than encouraging children to develop self-esteem and independence whilst experiencing an enriched Reggio and Hygge play and learning environment. Where they can explore, take risks, embark upon new challenges and most of all have lots of fun, making lasting memories and friendships.
I hold Qualified Teacher Status and gained my qualification in Romania (Geography and English Literature) and I came to the UK in 2014. I have been working as an au pair for 4 years and from 2018 until 2020 I was a Nursery Practitioner in a small and lovely nursery in Farnborough.
I am very interested in child psychology and in understanding how the little ones become motivated to learn and develop, also I like to explore their social, emotional, and cognitive processes that are involved in learning.
What do you love about working at The WonderWorks?
I have been with The WonderWorks since we opened in 2020 and that has been the beginning of one of the best chapters of my life. I have worked in The Burrow and also The Nest.
Working with children and being part of the film industry is simply the perfect combination for me and every single morning I thank my lucky stars for giving me this amazing opportunity.
The WonderWorks is unique in every single way, and it has the best approaches one could find in early years. We are proud to say we are a big happy family, and I personally can't wait for us to grow and develop together!
I have been working in childcare and early years for 13 years, my love of early years started when I volunteered at my local youth theatre as an assistant for sessions. Then I went on to complete my BA in Education studies and Early Years at Liverpool John Moore University where I had many different placements in schools, children’s centres and nurseries. This is where I decided to specialise in early education. I have since worked in a couple of nurseries starting as a practitioner and making my way up as a Preschool Room Leader then Team Leader before taking my role at The Wonderworks in October 2021. Since then, I have also taken on the role of leading our Holiday Club which has allowed me to develop my knowledge and work with older children
What I love most about working at the Wonderworks?
Working at the Wonderworks with the approach allows the children to feel like they are at home with the environment making them feel calm, safe and comfortable. This is what I love because it helps them to thrive and develop their skills in a unique way.
Working with children is a unique and incredibly rewarding job I love that it allows me to bring out my inner child by playing alongside them creating my own characters, making voices, and acting out stories. There’s nothing better than when a child reaches a milestone, they have worked so hard towards whether it be putting on their shoes, saying a sentence or using the toilet independently it fills my heart with joy and pride. Being a little part of their life journey is a true honour.
I have always had a passion for caring for children from a young age. Childcare was a chosen subject of mine in secondary school then from leaving school I went onto college to study art and design which is also a passion of mine. Childcare was the career path I wanted to persue so I went onto becoming an apprentice in a nursery and achieving my level 2 qualification and now having nearly 4 years experience in the childcare industry.
What do you love most about working at The WonderWorks?
What I love about working at The WonderWorks is working alongside great knowledgeable teachers and The WonderWorks approach towards the children’s learning and development, enabling and encouraging them to be free to explore and discover new interests, and make their own choices on their own unique learning adventure and getting to be a part of that. I also love observing the children being in flow and capturing those valuable moments and sharing them with their parents.
I am level 3 qualified with 9 years childcare experience. Working with children is something I have always wanted to do, so as soon as I left school I went straight for an apprenticeship. This really was the best path for me to take as I was learning whilst studying. I started by doing my level 2 and without hesitation I knew I wanted to go on to do my level 3.
Having previously worked in 3 different nurseries. I have seen many successful ways of working with children and picked up a number of skills and throughout this time. I have attended and completed several different courses based around childcare, which has helped my knowledge and understanding even more.
What do you love most about working at The Wonder Works?
It's so lovely to be part of The Wonder Works team. Working alongside such a great team who, together, we ensure the children are happy and safe. I love is seeing the children grow and develop, being part of their journey and helping them in every way we can. I have created some lovely bonds with the children which makes special moments even more special. I really like the Wonder Works approach as it's based around the children and their interests. This has helped me get to know the children really well.
After graduating University just over ten years ago with a degree in Media Production I have worked in various roles in both TV and film. Most recently spending the last six years working as a Transport Coordinator for various productions in Leavesden Studios. Through this I have seen first hand the need for a nursery like The WonderWorks, the huge benefits it gives to families working in film and also the pressures family members face in this industry. I have three nephews that I adore and always love spending time with and this is what first made me think a career in childcare could be something for me. I have recently gained Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
What do you love most about working at The Wonder Works?
The WonderWorks has allowed me to combine both my passions, working in such a friendly, supportive environment in which I can't wait to grow and develop and help make an incredible difference to both the children and their families.
I have always enjoyed children’s company, watching them grow and build a life of their own. My interest for children’s development started at quite a young age. I have a very big family and have been around children all the time, whether that was baby sitting or just enjoying some family time.
I completed childcare in secondary school and absolutely loved the subject and wanted to learn more about the psychological side of development, not just within children but within adults too. After completing college with a level 3 NVQ in Health and Social care with applied Psychology I wanted to begin my journey in the childcare industry.
Working at the WonderWorks is like a home away from home. I love watching the children develop into their own person, exploring and testing their limits. Being with them on their journey through life is so important to us, making sure they’re happy and making memories they can look back on.
The WonderWorks approach allows the children to learn, explore and take risks, allowing them to make mistakes and learn from each other, in a fun, inviting, and safe environment. To be able to work within the team and see the world through the children’s eyes reminds me of how excited I was to learn and discover. Being a part of that journey is definitely something I look forward to.
What do you love most about working at The WonderWorks?
When I joined the WonderWorks I immediately felt so welcome and at ease, not only by the children but the staff as well. Being in an environment where everyone is appreciated for what they do is so lovely! Everyone here supports one another whether it’s something big or small, we are like one big family and I so thankful to be apart of such an amazing team.
From being the eldest of six, having that natural maternal instinct and having worked in a nursery pre lockdown, I’ve picked up many different skills and learning approaches that different settings and people have. I feel this is the career path I’m meant to be in!
I studied fine art at college, which is another passion but links into my love for messy play and the creativity and freedom children have to explore in their learning and who they want to be.
I’ve worked in childcare for 8 years which began when I left school and completed an apprenticeship to gain my level 3 qualification.
I have always been surrounded with nieces and nephews which ignited a passion to work in childcare, whether that be in a nursery setting or a nannying role, which I’ve been fortunate enough to experience.
I’ve always had a passion for supporting children’s learning and development, providing them with a nurturing environment where they can explore, play and grow.
What do you love most about working at The WonderWorks?
Being at The Wonderworks, it feels like home, and is such a warm and positive environment. All the children have the freedom to explore and play with a range of resources and the approach is completed child centred and allows every child to be unique in their learning and development, which I love. Also being a part of such a positive and supportive team which makes me feel lucky to be apart of.
