Little Sparks Nursery and Preschool

My little girl has been at Little Sparks for 2 months now after spending the first 2 years at home with me/part time with a childminder who had a small group. I was super conscious of how she was going to settle, but I can say with confidence that the staff at Little Sparks have been great and she's settled in so well. She loves nursery, gets excited to go in the mornings and loves the staff and environment. She enjoys a variety of meals and snacks and indoor and outdoor play and activities. She is learning more each day and I feel that she is safe and well cared for when she is there. Any queries I have had as a parent have been answered quickly and the needs of my little girl have so far been met by all of the lovely staff. I'm happy we chose this nursery!

The staff are exceptional and fantastic with the children and they seem to do so much activities with them! Our little one is so eager to go each day we have started calling her "Sat Nav" she drags us to nursery!!

The security of the building is outstanding and you can clearly tell that for the staff here it is not just a job for them, they all really care for our next generation

The Little Sparks family are all so friendly and welcoming! They have taken such good care of my little boy over the last few years! It is lovely to see how much his confidence has grown and just how happy he now is to go to nursery each day and this is down to the Little Sparks staff team making him feel comfortable and reassured so thank you so much!

Both my children attend this nursery. Knowing that they are both well cared for and have plenty of activities planned for them during the day makes it so much easier to drop them off each day for work. All the staff are incredibly friendly and all have the children's interest at heart. My little girl has been coming here since she was 8 months old and in the baby room. She is now 3 in the preschool room and I have never had any issues. She has come on so well over the past few years and learns so much at nursery. My little boy started when he was 8 months old and is now 18 months old and he is coming on so well in the baby room.

My daughter has attended Little Sparks for 10 months now and has absolutely thrived in that time. She loves attending nursery, playing with her friends and taking part in activities. Staff are very caring and have a good understanding of her learning and development. The nursery is very good at making me feel involved in her nursery experience through daily updates, photos, stay and play, parents' evenings and conversations during drop off and pick up time. There are always lots of different activities, outside playtime and occasional trips out of nursery providing a good range of experiences. I am also very happy with the meals she receives at nursery being nutritional and providing choices to help her feel independent.

Lovely nursery and staff members. My little one loves it here and has come on loads in the time he's been at nursery. Always tell me about his day and any moments that were special it's Lovely to see pictures of him having a good time.

Little sparks look after my little boy like he is their own. He is happy, making amazing progress socially and with general development. Couldn't have asked for a better nursery. Thank you for doing what you do!

This nursery is definitely one of the best in Clayton! With a home-from-home feel both my children have settled in so well and made to be part of the Little Sparks family. With different rooms like sensory and library lodge and forest school activities, they have thought of it all. Communication is fantastic and all staff are likeable, approachable and always on hand to help

Great nursery and great staff, my son loves coming to nursery, when we go away he always asks when he is going back to nursery! Great communication and my son has developed in all areas and has come on lots!

This is the first nursery my son has been to. I was quite scared to send my son to nursery because no one looks after him other than me and dad. But Little Sparks Nursery and Preschool have put my mind at ease. I’m glad I went with them, they treat my little boy amazing as the other children. Because my son is a very fussy eater when he won’t eat what the other children eat they accommodate for him and go above and beyond for him. Definitely 5 stars

I feel my child is safe and well cared for. They have a great choice of meals and snacks. Also, have many different activities for my child to take part in throughout the day. I also know my child enjoys going to Little Sparks Nursery and is happy when returning home.

Such a friendly and welcoming nursery my little boy has come on in leaps and bounds since attending little sparks. The staff can’t do enough for you as a parent and make you feel very safe leaving your children.

My daughter started here at 2 years old and is due to leave in July. I'll be so sad to see her leave, the whole team has been fantastic, she's made friends and has come on so much in all areas. The nursery is spread over three terraced houses and it really is like a home from home feel. The support from the staff is always amazing and even if you have an issue they are always on hand to help. Would recommend to anyone.

Little Sparks does everything and more. They treat our child like their own, and they do base days around their likes and needs. My daughter went into the baby room shy and cautious and now she is a whirlwind of happiness! She took her first steps at the nursery she is learning words and dancing and socialisation. The ladies not only have the children’s welfare at heart they take care of each other and do staff treats and appreciation and it’s a great example of showing how to treat each other. I can’t praise the place highly enough, if you are thinking about taking your child there don’t hesitate and sign them up, I can’t wait to see our daughter's further development with the Little Sparks family!

My little one absolutely loves going to nursery and can't wait to get out the door on a morning, bringing me her coat and bag (even on a weekend). She settled in so quickly despite my worries before she started. All the staff are fab and she loves the baby room! She eats lots of yummy grub and gets up to loads of activities indoor and outdoor. She comes home every week with something new she has learnt. She has her own book so that we can know what she's been up to and when she's eaten, slept and been changed. Plus an app with pics! Staff always have time to offer support and to tell tales of what they've been up to with the little ones. I know I can call and check in anytime which I do quite a bit and the girls are always great at keeping me informed and monitoring anything I'm worried about with my child. They've helped and supported going cold turkey with the dummy and with removing certain foods from her diet. Couldn't ask for better communication or a better nursery.
