Alexander House Nursery Wandsworth

We have had our child in this nursery for over four years and about to have our second go in. Cannot say enough good things about this nursery, it's staff and it's friendly / warm feel. This is a view shared by many parents all of whom share happy children who smile going in every day (which says a lot). Great to see them grow and expand as well.

Our daughter started 4 months ago, settled quickly and enjoys going in. There's a weekly theme where they learn about different topics. The only downside is that the indoor area is small but they do go out often. Would love to see more variety of extra curricular activities like football

A fantastic group of carers with a genuinely childcentric and caring attitude. They're always coming up with thoughtful activities and weekly themes that educate and entertain. They go out of their way to make sure every child feels safe and gets the extra support they might need. Highly recommended.

We are incredibly grateful for our child's wonderful experience at the nursery. My son was always welcomed at the door in the morning and went happily into the room. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, caring and attentive to each child's needs. They offer various activities that foster creativity, learning, and social interaction. We clearly saw what he learned through his time there. We particularly appreciated the regular updates and photos, which kept us connected to our child's daily experiences. It was always lovely to see what a great time our son had! He went to this nursery for 11 months, the only reason we left, was because we moved out of the area.

My daughter has attended Alexander House since she was 16 months old, she is now going to reception in September and we are very sad to be moving on. Alexander House has been an exceptional place for my daughter. The staff supported her in communicating as a child with English as an additional language and offered her so much love and affection. My daughter is confident, has many friends and talks about all of the creative and exciting experiences that the staff provide. Her primary school teacher is impressed with her ability and knowledge so far and this comes down to Alexander House ensuring she is ready for school. Thank you AHN!

My son and daughter have been really happy at Alexander House. They look forward to going and I know they are loved and looked after their. We particularly enjoyed the family events they've organised such as the zoo trip, football morning, sports day and Christmas party. We can see how the children are learning and developing and would definitely recommend the nursery.

Such a lovely nursery! Our son absolutely loves going in every morning and adores every member of the staff. He's learned so much, comes home singing songs he learned there, has made lots of friends. I really love how the parents and families are included in lots of activities and gatherings, giving a real community feel. An amazing place for little ones to grow and learn.

A caring environment in which my son is very happy. Lovely diversity and wonderful activities with good communication.

Knowing that she was being cared for made my return to work so much easier and seeing her beaming smile on pick up made it easier dropping her the next day!

I could have not asked for a better nursery for our son. The teachers are unbelievably loving, caring and nurturing and what stood out to me the most is how they embrace the child's needs at any given moment. Additionally, I love that this nursery is just so very creative when it comes to daily activities. He learned a tremendous amount there and truly loved his time. The nursery has a great size and feels like a little home.

Lovely nursery, caring teachers and lots of great activities. Our son was 12 months old when starting at Alexander House Wandsworth. He can be shy but completely blossomed at the nursery. We are extremely happy with the care our son has received at Alexander House.

Our daughter has been attending Alexander House Wandsworth for 5 months now and we could not be happier with our choice of nursery. The teachers and staff are so thoughtful and caring, and she can't wait to see her teachers and friends every day, so it feels as if we are leaving her with family when we drop her off. Although they do not have outdoor space, they venture to the park every day and the staff take care to ensure they enjoy the outdoors. She has also made incredible strides in her development, learning, and confidence since joining. We also appreciate the daily updates on the app and at pickup, as well as the numerous activities that are planned to keep parents involved.

We moved our daughter over to Alexander House a few months ago and she is just so much happier now compared to the previous nursery she was attending in the area. The teachers are kind, full of life and so friendly! The nursery school is full of fun bright colours and toys and they take the kids out on exciting adventures and outings often, updating us with photos on the app. I am very impressed with this little school and the warmth from all the staff at every drop-off and pick-up! Since starting at Alexander House my little one toilet trained quickly, stopped using her dummy and has been making friends easily!
