Fountain Montessori Nursery & Pre-School - St Albans

My child is delighted at nursery and always looks forward to going. This is incredibly important to me. I've received lots of positive feedback from the teacher and she's learning so much. I'm thrilled with her progress.

My son is a very happy boy here and we'll looked after, which gives me peace of mind. He is developing elel and the twam are great at communicating his development. The management is good and the team are engaging.

Overall, I know and can see Rory gets a high level of care and attention.

All of the staff at fountain have been fantastic and I know that my children are in good hands there. They always come home happy and seem to be learning a lot. My eldest was well prepared for primary school by the time he finished and the staff are always excited to see him when we collect his little brother. We get a sense that the staff genuinely care about our children.

Our son is happy, thriving and learning lots at Fountain. He had made many friends and we feel he will be thoroughly ready for reception. His teachers recognize his strengths and encourage him to always try new things.

Our daughters have both been really happy during their time at Fountain Montessori. They have come on in ways that I simply would not have done if they hadn't attended. It is a lovely environment and the staff are all really attentive and friendly. Thank you so much for all you have done for them!

My 18 month old has been at the nursery now for 6 months and she has been thriving in their care. It can be so hard to trust someone else to care for and nurture your baby but I have had no worries since she has been at Fountain St Albans. The staff are wonderful, communication is great and my little one is happy in the environment

Wonderful nursery. My son went there for three years and my daughter goes now too since she was one year old. Highly recommended. The manager is really good and deals with any issues. Very happy overall.

We absolutely love Fountain Montessori Nursery & Pre-School! The staff are so, so brilliant. Our daughter settled in so quickly and it's not surprising when you are all put at ease the moment you step inside. I am blown away every day at how much my daughter has learnt and developed. I am so happy that we chose Fountain Montessori Nursery & Pre-School for our daughter. The staff are incredibly kind, hard-working and dedicated and show so much care for every child in the nursery. There is a really strong feeling of community and family, helped by the small class size. The teachers take care to prepare an interesting and engaging variety of activities each week and my daughter tells me about how much fun she has had in the day. My child's language and social skills have progressed so much during her time here. I can't recommend Fountain Montessori enough for anyone who wants a small, safe and happy place for their little one.

Warm and compassionate teachers! My son gets excited to go to nursery every single day. Each of the teachers in his classroom shows they care and are very loving. Although we are new, I can see my son thriving in their care as he grows older. The management at the St Albans location is fantastic but the management in the Head Office comes off disorganised. However, this does not reflect how the St Albans nursery operates. Thank you!

Our daughter has attended the nursery for over a year now, from 12 months of age. We have always found the staff very friendly and welcoming. We enjoy the small size of the nursery - there's a real family feel. Since joining our daughter's development has been very noticeable, particularly her language and her independence. Each week, the nursery has a new learning theme with planned activities which makes each day exciting for the children. The nursery feels like a great stepping stone for school. We'd definitely recommend the nursery to friends and family.

We have been very impressed with the staff at this nursery, you can see they are incredibly passionate about looking after and developing children. The online system allows you to engage in each day at the nursery. They encourage outdoor play where possible and engagement through coffee mornings and nursery trips. A downside is the size of the building compared to others.

When your child runs in and wants to stay at the nursery you know they're doing a good job! My child is always happy when coming home and loves her teachers. She has picked up reading and writing and loves to learn which we believe comes from the teaching at the nursery.

Our son really enjoys his time at Fountain Montessori! He has flourished, and we can tell he is loved by his friends and the teachers there. He has always been a confident kid, but we are also seeing he has learnt to be more thoughtful towards other little ones around him. We love that the daycare provides vegetarian meals and changes every week. Overall, we are happy with Fountain Montessori in St Albans!

The E log communication platform is a wonderful link for us to have as it provides that vital insight into the activities our child is involved in at Nursery. The structure and detailed individual comments that accompany the observation clips reflect the amount of effort staff go to, to make Montessori the brilliant learning environment it is. The emails of next week's menu and activity plan are a big help with the direction of the conversation and play at home too. All helps at this time of restriction. A big thank you to all staff for their continued commitment to making our boy's day at Nursery happy and memorable.
