Cliff Hill Day Nursery

A fantastic new nursery and exactly what Wakefield needed. I was very nervous and anxious about moving nursery but this nursery gave me the reassurance to return to work without worrying. From the initial visit, we were made to feel welcome and I signed my daughter up the same day without a second thought. We visited several other nurseries in the area and being a previous nursery manager, I didn't feel comfortable leaving her until we found Cliff Hill. They have such a friendly and happy staff team. They have the family app too, so we can see what she has eaten and done throughout the day and messages from the staff team saying how she has settled in the morning which means the world to an anxious first-time mummy. They treat all children as individuals and always have my daughters favourite teddy waiting by the windowsill for when she arrives. The free flow access to messy play is great too, a great set up.

Lovely nursery, beautiful new toys and equipment. Lovely staff. My daughter loves to attend. I recommend the staff very much.

The overall experience of this nursery has been exceptional, the staff here are very helpful and friendly. Most importantly when I collect my child she always has positive things to say about the staff and what activities they have been doing throughout the day. My daughter really does enjoy attending this nursery and she’s always happy when I collect her. I am always kept up to date with activities throughout the day via the family app. I really couldn’t ask for any more, the staff here go above and beyond.

Amazing nursery, excellent caring staff, help your child, no matter what development problems they have, always make sure the child is happy and enjoying it, always ask them if they are OK and have lots of activities planned for them to do. Even though it’s a new nursery, they are very good at their job and make you as comfortable as possible.

As a parent of twins, it is important to me that my children are known as individuals and this is one of the reasons I chose to move them from another provider to Cliff Hill Day Nursery. My children started attending Cliff Hill in January 2020 and I have nothing but positive comments to make about the staff and the facilities. My children love going to nursery, they run in with smiles on their faces and I am confident going to work knowing that they are being well looked after and cared for in a home from home environment.

I do not have one negative thing to say about this nursery, everything is brilliant, from the staff, to the resources, to the information on the app, to the friendliness. My son has attended this nursery since October, following me visiting many around the area, with Cliff Hill standing out a mile. I am so so pleased with my nursery choice and have recommended it to many.

My daughter joined Cliff Hill nursery shortly after it opened. I was very reluctant to move my daughter's nursery however due to change in work commutes we decided to look into local nurseries closer to home. As soon as we walked into Cliff Hill we were super impressed and were made to feel really comfortable. My daughter loved it straight away and showed no hesitation to explore which was an impressive sign for us that this was the nursery for us! Being a new nursery the facilities and supplies are brilliant, there is a threat-free range of activities for children to enjoy. The staff are very tentative and have created a great bond with both my daughter and ourselves. The communication personally and through the nursery app are fantastic. I am reassured throughout the day and can see what they have been up to, even down to each nappy change! I would definitely recommend, my daughter has settled in so well she loves it and especially the staff she has a close bond with already.
