Starchild Nurseries Malton

It’s well-managed, and we’ve never had an issue in the two years we’ve used the service. Our youngest went from six months and has been cared for so incredibly well that it made us less worried about the early start. Thank you!

Our little boy absolutely loves spending time at Starchild nursery. There is such a varied range of activities - arts and crafts and sensory are his highlight along with singing and dancing and walks in the park. He is 22 months, recites nursery rhymes, and loves to count. The staff have helped him with his development. He also has his afternoon nap really well. He is settled, and we can see him thrive there. He is always excited to go in on a morning!

Both my daughters love going to this nursery. They have loved all of their key workers, and they have encouraged the girls in all areas of progression. I have no issues or hesitations in recommending the nursery to everyone. They are always willing to accommodate where possible. The girls really enjoy the facilities and the weekly trips out.

My little one's confidence has grown immensely, and I cannot thank Starchild enough.

Cannot recommend Starchild Nursery enough. The staff are so lovely, and I feel so confident about leaving my son in their care every Monday. They deal with his allergies really well, which is so reassuring for us. We love the app they use to update us on his day and keep track of his development. Highly recommend.

Starchild is a lovely nursery, and we wouldn't think twice about recommending it to others. After visiting a few different settings before deciding on which nursery to send our little boy too, Starchild was the one where we felt the most welcome and at ease, and we both picked up on the lovely, friendly atmosphere.

All of the staff are lovely and welcoming in the morning, which is great if you have a child that is a little unsure. However, after a few sessions, this soon changed, and now he loves going in the morning. The app is great for keeping up to date throughout the day; I love seeing all the different things he eats, as well as all the different activities he does; the photos are lovely to see.

I am really happy we decided on this nursery, I know that when I am at work, my little boy is in a caring and fun environment, and I don't have to worry. This is all down to the lovely team at Starchild, so thank you all.

I have used the nursery since my child was 5-months-old and she is coming up to 2. I was originally planning on moving my little one to the local preschool at age 2, but now I don't want her to leave. The staff are great, always willing to go the extra mile and make my child feel welcome.

They use an app that works so well for keeping updated about what your child is up to and how they are developing. This is one of my favourite aspects.

My other favourite part is the fact that they have so many days out with children come rain or shine.

We travel 30 minutes to get to this nursery. We were tempted to move our daughter closer to home, but she (at the age of only two) shouts 'wahoo nursery' as we get closer and tells all our family about how she's spent the day playing with her key worker. Our daughter loves it. Everything about the nursery is exceptional.

The nursery is clean, lovely staff, and most importantly, my daughter loves it. You can tell the staff really care, and they keep you posted on how ur child doing, which so lovely and important. I was recommended the nursery and since have friends children joining after I have recommended. Fabulous nursery!

I cannot recommend Starchild enough. It’s small enough that you get a really personal experience but big enough to be completely professional.

I am blown away by this nursery. I was so nervous to send my child to a setting due to him being quite a clingy child, however, the love and passion the girls have been so reassuring, my child has gained so much confidence with new people within 8+ days. I am kept up to date with how his day is going, which is refreshing and has definitely eased my anxiety with him. There is always lots for him to do, and he is eating meals we would never have thought to try with him. I’m so happy I chose this nursery.

They have supported with all elements of our child's development, toilet training, feeding, giving up dummy, nap times, being able to recognise her own name etc.

Located central Malton, it may not have an outdoor space per-se, but they explore outside the nursery building and interact with 'nature'.

Great staff who clearly care about their role. My child loves going to nursery, and she has developed so much. I especially enjoy logging onto the app and being able to see all the activities my child has been doing throughout the day with her friends. My child also enjoys meals and snacks - a good variety.

Also in this pandemic, they have adhered very closely to all guidelines and still ensuring a nurturing and fun environment for the children who attend.

Don’t look anywhere else for private daycare because Starchild is the place to go!
