The staff are all so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and consistent with their care which makes it very easy for me to leave my daughter knowing that she will be safe, taught, heard and have lots of fun every time she goes.
Thanks for providing such a wonderful opportunity for her.
Dandelion has given our son so many enriching opportunities to discover the world around him. He absolutely loves being outside every day in all weathers and has learnt so much since starting there. Dandelion has nurtured his love for building and creating and he will often come home with woodwork with drawn designs. They interweave many aspects of learning into the children's interests giving real reasons to learn. Dandelion has helped him develop strong friendships whilst also teaching respectful ways to negotiate and resolve conflicts through philosophy. We highly recommend this setting to any child who loves to learn and explore the great outdoors. Thank you Dandelion team!
We don't have 'ordinary' toys at Dandelion for a number of reasons; one being that making your own toy is a marvellous learning opportunity that engenders creative and critical thinking as well as giving children a sense of pride in their achievements.
My little one has struggled in previous settings but is thriving here at Dandelion Education Ltd Day Nursery. He is developing both socially and emotionally. The staff at Dandelions have supported him in his transition into nursery and kept me updated on his progress continually. I am so pleased we made the move to Dandelions! Thank you team!
Thanks, Charlotte, we're so happy that our focus on emotional and social development is supporting your son.
Dandelion Education Ltd Day Nursery is a really lovely experience - it's a beautiful outdoor site and the staff are without exception incredible. I feel lucky my daughter gets to attend this setting, there is so much for the children to explore and play with. I feel completely certain that my daughter is in the best possible hands. I appreciate the way the staff talk about behaviour and model healthy, respectful relationships. The community of parents is really friendly and welcoming. It's a peaceful setting and my daughter comes home happy.
Thanks, Helen, this is wonderful to hear and glad you're benefiting from the wider Dandelion Community too.
My daughter loves Dandelion Education Ltd Day Nursery. The nursery have differentiated for her complex needs and the one-to-one care they provide for her is beyond excellent. It's an extremely caring and professional nursery in a lovely outside setting. Can't praise the staff enough, it really is a special place and so glad my daughter has a place there.
Thank you, Sarah - we're thrilled that you are both so happy with our approach and care.
Truly amazing staff. They're passionate about children and the environment is great! We can clearly see the difference in our son's development! He enjoys going to the nursery and loves to tell us about his activities. Our daughter used to go to Dandelion Education Ltd Day Nursery and she also loved it. We highly recommend!
Thanks, Gustavo, we're delighted that you are seeing such wonderful progress and that you value our team so highly.
Dandelion provides an excellent service. The staff are informed, enthusiastic and committed. The woodland setting is fantastic and is the most obvious point of difference with other nurseries, but more important are the beliefs and attitudes of the staff towards child development, gender equality etc. The area in which Dandelion could improve is in administration, which they have recently addressed by recruiting an administrator.
Thanks, Rob; it's wonderful that so many parents agree with our beliefs and attitudes towards child development, and value the dedication and commitment of our teams. Our admin manager has been a lifesaver on many fronts!
I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. The staff are so kind, gentle and nurturing. They clearly love working with children and this shows in the way the children interact with the staff. I am amazed at how much my daughter learns when she is there, especially around understanding feelings and how to build relationships. I feel they have equipped her for school and the world. I have delayed her start to school so she can stay longer at Dandelion Education Ltd, Eaton.
Thanks H, this is so wonderful to hear! We're thrilled that you are seeing the benefits of our approach to emotional literacy development, and that you value our staff so highly!
I am extremely happy with the education and care at Dandelion Nursery. My daughter has been going for 10-months. The staff went above and beyond to help her settle quickly, and she has thrived since joining. Staff are helpful, approachable and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with their knowledge of SEN, especially Sensory Processing Disorder. I would thoroughly recommend Dandelion.
Thank you for your kind words and for your appreciation of our staff's skills and expertise.
The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful during her settling period. I love the care and consideration they give our daughter's needs; they are always keen to tell me how she got on at the end of the day. The setting itself is extremely calming amongst the trees; I love dropping her off as I get to experience a little piece of that tranquillity myself.
I love the philosophical approach the nursery takes to our daughter's development; this was the key reason we sent her as well as the outdoor setting. I would highly recommend Dandelions nursery.
We are thrilled you love our unique philosophical approach and all we do.
I am very happy with Dandelions nursery. My child is learning some very useful skills and values. The fresh air and playing outside is certainly healthy for her. The staff are kind, beautiful people that she trusts and looks up to. As for me… I just love the smell of wood every time I go there. And my daughter loves it too!
Thank you, Katerina; we are delighted that you value us and our staff so highly.
My child has thrived at Dandelion, and his learning and development improve weekly. They are supportive and understanding of his behaviours, and he is always chatting about the staff, his days and singing the songs.
Thanks; it's wonderful to hear that he is thriving in our car,e and our Dandelion songs are flowing into your home too!
A great place for children that love to play outdoors (so that’s almost every child)!
We haven’t been there long, but so far, my son is enjoying it, and I’m happy with it too.
Thanks. Our team is fantastic, you are right! So pleased that, even though you are a new Dandelion, you are both settled and happy.
An absolutely amazing nursery/pre-school. We moved from another outdoor nursery which looked amazing but completely lacked the nurturing, warmth and individual attention children need. From day one, we have felt that our son is safe, is treated as an individual and supported well to get the best out of his time there. I love the different theme they have every 2 weeks which allows us to feel involved in his nursery experience. He has grown in confidence and developed friendships and most importantly he loves it. The 1:2 child:adult ratio for 2-year-olds has really benefitted our son. At the first nursery, he preferred to play on his own and we had very few updates of what he was doing. With the caring and supportive attitude of all the teachers at Dandelion, he very quickly joined in and I can see from the frequent photos and updates that he definitely doesn’t prefer to play on his own. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough, Dandelion is a unique and special place.
The ethos, the staff, the setting, we cannot praise Dandelion enough. True trailblazers in their field.
A respectful, joyful, peaceful, laughter filled place to be. A fire circle for brunch, hammock for a nap, tree house or yurt for a story.
Dandelion builds friendships, confidence, education and mindfulness.
I sure wish there was this for adults.
Dandelion Eaton is an amazing environment. It is a wholly outside nursery with a yurt for really bad weather, but the space the children have to play in and explore is 5-6 times that of most nurseries. The space is great but so are the natural resources that the staff use to help stimulate the children’s creativity. The children build their own obstacle courses, pirate ships, dinosaur dens. The fun never seems to stop and most days I’d really like to stop myself. Money can’t buy the freedom and sense of adventure children get at Dandelion each and every day. Then there is food around the fire circle, yoga sessions, philosophy discussions about things like friendship, greed, happiness inspired by the week’s theme. The communication with parents is excellent, they demonstrate lots of flexibility and although everyone can get very muddy, the extra washing is very worth it! You won’t be disappointed by this extraordinary venue and the special team looking after your child(REN).
Dandelion is a stimulating outdoor environment for children with an exceptional level of adult interaction. I find them very inspiring and would highly recommend visiting to see what they have to offer.
After over a year in a woodland setting with saws, scissors, fires, etc. I now have a very safety conscious child who can risk assess for himself and has never come home with worse than a bump on his head.
As an almost exclusively outdoor nursery, your children will come home dirty so don't wear your Sunday best.
Our daughter attends Dandelion, the respectful and nurturing nature of the staff has transformed her into an outgoing child who relishes new challenges. She loves the outdoor environment and has never complained about the weather! We would and do recommend Dandelion to everyone.
The opportunities, communication with parents, leadership, learning, environment and staff are all exceptional at Dandelions, but above all else, my son is happy and I can confidently recommend this nursery to others.
