Claires Court Nursery School

Our child has attended Claires Court Nursery School since they were two and we have been blown away by the level of care. I don't believe any other local nursery is comparable. Staff retention is fantastic and everyone knows every child, they are teachers not just carers and they take the time to nurture and teach our children in all aspects of their days, both socially, emotionally and from a learning perspective. The activities are varied and interesting, even in holiday care they get visits from magicians, soft play buses, reptile zoos. They learn music, ballet, sport, they go to forest school and do P.E and the children love it. My child thrives, they didn't enjoy nursery when we were in London but since joining Claires Court they have absolutely loved nursery. We have also made a lovely group of friends via the parents which has been fantastic.

Claires Court has provided my child with such a brilliant start in life, been supporting to us as her parents and I will forever be grateful to the wonderful team there.

I am very happy with Claires Court. It is clean and it is not crowded. They give special care to children. They approach children with kindness and love. My child goes to nursery by running everyday. Even with English as his second language, he adapted easily.

Our son has been at this nursery for just over a year now (he started when he turned two) and we could not be happier with the care and education he has received. He is thriving there. No other nursery in the local area offers the range and quality of activities that Claires Court does. All the staff are so knowledgeable, professional and caring. They are experts in child development. The children have themed weeks and very well structured activities every day, as well as free play. They bring in external professionals to run ballet and music lessons. They arrange external trips and visits to the nursery by external providers such as animal specialists, magicians and soft play buses. The children take part in a summer and Christmas show. The PE lessons the children receive use the schools facilities and are run by a PE specialist. The children do cookery every Friday. We would not hesitate to recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 4 months and the change in her is amazing. We see her grow every day with the nursery learning interactions. Being a nursery school with a defined curriculum, it is so much more than childcare. Being part of a bigger school, they can benefit from visiting the school grounds and occasionally interacting with older children. The staff is caring but knowledgeable in children's education. We are really happy. We like that they are all in little uniforms, with the only caveat that the service from the local business providing uniforms is not great.

Our child started in the two-year-old room in November. The staff members were all very welcoming and caring. This was and is still apparent by how happy our child has been since starting. Claires Court provides a nurturing environment and we are very pleased with every aspect of the nursery.

I feel my son receives individual care and they cater for his specific learning and developmental needs. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My 3-year-old daughter loves this nursery! The staff are really warm and great with kids. There seems to be a good balance between organised activities to stimulate the children and unstructured free play. The indoor and outdoor facilities are brilliant. My daughter really enjoys ballet, PE and forest school lessons which she probably wouldn't get elsewhere. She has only been there a couple of months but has settled in quickly and made some good friends. She is particularly impressed with the selection of dressing-up clothes available!

Both my children have gone through Claires Court Nursery and now both are in the school. The nursery is nurturing and caring for children. The staff are fantastic and it really shows that they love being with the children. My children loved nursery and the activities they carried out. My youngest was in nursery during the main bulk of the pandemic and they went over and beyond to ensure children didn't miss out.

Claires Court Nursery is such a wonderful place. The staff are brilliant and the facilities are very impressive. The nursery provides the children with a very solid foundation in numbers, phonics and self-care - our sons were so well-prepared for their first year at school. Most importantly, they absolutely loved going to nursery every day. They adored the staff and still talk about everyone now. We can't wait to send our youngest!

Claires Court Nursery School is a really great place for children to start their official education journey. The staff are great, they personally care for each pupil and adapt the activities to their own ability to learn and to their own needs.

My daughter attended Claires Court Nursery from September 2016 until July 2018. She was a very shy and clingy child when she started and struggled to be separated from us but over her time at CC she developed beyond recognition in terms of her confidence and resilience as well as developing her social and academic skills. The staff are fantastic and adored by the children and the activities are well planned and varied for both the children's enjoyment and their progress. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone (apart from the fear that there wouldn't be a space for my youngest daughter to attend when she is the right age).

This is a very well run nursery, the routines and structure they have in place really help the children develop their independence and settle well. The activities are varied and interesting and they have a great mix of fun and educational tasks.

My son has attended Claires Court nursery since September 2018. He fitted in so well and his confidence in speaking and learning has progressed amazingly. He has made friends and enjoys his time there. He goes 4 days a week, has a hot lunch every day and also attends some of the breakfast/after-school clubs. I highly recommend this nursery. The learning provisions and teachers are great. The activities they do at Easter and Christmas (especially the Christmas Nativity play) shows how much thought and time the staff put into the kids. He also does cookery classes, ballet and music classes there. They also have a holiday club in school holidays.

We're very happy with the nursery and our son loves it. All the staff are really caring and there are always loads of different activities going on. They really helped our son settle in.

Nursery fully caters for the working parent who can leave their children knowing they are really looked after and educated. Claires Court carefully introduces a school pattern and the children are fully encouraged to be independent and responsible, whilst having a fulfilling, fun and happy day. The staff recognise when children are ready to move to reading and writing and make this a fun part of the nursery day along with the many other activities in and out of the class rooms: cold cookery, ballet, French, playground breaks, growing plants etc. A huge thank you to Claires Court Nursery for bringing the best out in my daughter.

I would happily recommend this nursery to anyone who wants a safe, clean, nurturing and happy place to send their child.

A wonderful nursery/pre-school. Both my sons went here and my daughter just started in January. My children have all loved/love going here. Exceptionally high qualified staff means that the best is got out of each child in a holistic and nuturing environment.

I moved my daughter to this nursery on the recommendation of a previous parent. I have been astounded at the change I have seen and how much she is thriving at Claires Court. Developmentally, my daughter has gained skills which have exceeded my expectations for her age. The staff are caring, nurturing and very experienced which is reflected in the calm and happy environment within the nursery. The outside facilities are wonderful and I love that the staff take the children on ‘explorations’ of the grounds, incorporating skills such as numeracy or shape recognition. The day-to-day running is well organised and feedback is readily available, both formally and informally. I have since recommended the nursery to a family member (the highest accolade!) and am counting down the months until my youngest can join the nursery, as I know she will love it there.

A fantastic nursery with a really supportive and nurturing team of staff. Our daughter absolutely loves going and we’ve seen her confidence, both socially and from a learning perspective grow, in the term and a half she’s attended the nursery.
