Kattz Kidz Day Nursery

Kattz Kidz has taken exceptional care of our daughter since she was 9 months old (now 3yrs), providing a caring, nurturing, and safe environment in which she could express herself, develop existing and new skills, and follow her interests. The practitioners get to know the children really well, treat them as individuals, and provide activities that are tailored to their interests. It's clear that all staff genuinely care about and enjoy being with the children. The garden is spacious and provides plenty of opportunities for the children to use their bodies, including the weekly sports' sessions led by an external company, there's also a lovely planting area and mud kitchen. The nursery recently migrated all family updates to an app which works well for daily/weekly updates, communication between parents and key workers, the occasional photo, as well as your child's EYFS reports.

This is an amazing nursery. My son absolutely thrived here and enjoyed his years there so much, always lovely and clean, fantastic staff. Lots of different toys and play equipment to aid learning and exploring!

Our daughter has been in Kattz Kidz since 9 months and will be finishing this week at the age of 4! We'll be sad to see her leave as it's such a lovely little nursery where the staff genuinely care and nurture the children. Highly recommend the nursery!

Very good overall nursery, the staff care well for the children and my son enjoys it a lot and has learned a lot being there! We like the regular updates we get about his day, and the more formal learning reports that we get every so often.

Excellent nursery, our oldest has been there for 2-3 years and has thrived. Highly recommended. Friendly and professional staff who are knowledgeable and keep parents informed of the child’s progress. Excellent and convenient central location. Has a curriculum based around the individual child and their development. You can keep up-to-date with child progress day to day via the interactive app.

The team have been so helpful when we were stumped for childcare. The settling-in sessions were arranged the next week and my daughter felt right at home after a few. The team are amazing there and really make sure that both you and your kids feel secure. The app to see their progress is easy to follow and lovely to share access with family. My daughter is so excited to see her key workers in the morning and the look on her face makes it all worth being away. Thank you Kattz Kidz.

Our daughter has been at Kattz Kidz on a full-time basis for about 2 years and she loves going to nursery. The staff are so friendly and dedicated and the setting of the nursery really makes it feel like a home from home. Staff go out of their way to match activities to the children's interests. The communication is excellent. We always know how our daughter's day has gone, including how much she has eaten, etc. and we receive regular photos and videos of our daughter enjoying different activities which allows us to feel really connected with her experiences. We also receive regular updates on how our daughter is progressing against milestones and what the next steps are for further development and we have parents' evenings too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kattz Kidz to anyone.

Both my children attend Kattz Kidz and I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The team are brilliant. They provide the perfect balance of encouragement, nurture, challenge and fun. They recognise each child is different and they seek to understand their individual interests and incorporate this into their learning and development. They invite in coaches to do weekly sports sessions which is a highlight for my boys! They also explore important topics such as sustainability and inclusivity in a way that engages the children and increases their understanding. I would recommend Kattz Kidz to anyone and encourage a visit. They won me over on my first visit 5 years ago and they haven’t disappointed.

I cannot praise the efforts of the entire team at Kattz. My daughter went here from age one through to the time she started school and truly blossomed. Now my son is attending and is blossoming equally as well. He has settled so well in the strange times of Covid and this is a testament to the care, patience, kindness, and most of all experience of the staff. We love the way the children have the opportunity to get outdoors to learn/discover whilst also having so much fun in their classrooms. We couldn’t be happier with our experience of Kattz Kidz.
