Mighty Oaks Day Nursery & Preschool

Food, all I can say is the menu that is offered is outstanding. It really gives children a chance to try different foods. I believe that is why I do not have a fussy eater today.

My youngest has just started with Mighty Oaks and is already taking it in her stride. I have such confidence that the lovely ladies at Mighty Oaks will look after her well. Thank you.

My daughter absolutely loved her time at Mighty Oaks and still talks fondly about all of the memories she made there over 3 years. As a parent, I cannot fault anything - she was cared for, nurtured and loved the way I would hope and the progress she made was phenomenal, she was thriving. The Mighty Oaks team are a wonderful bunch who are just fantastic at what they do - we will never be able to thank them enough!

Our eldest daughter started at Mighty Oaks in January 2021 and our youngest daughter joined her in February 2023. From the very start, we have been extremely pleased with the facilities, staff and overall care our daughters have received. The nursery itself is quite spacious. There is plenty of room indoors and they have a balcony for outdoor play as well as access to realistic grass and a forest area. We don't like the idea of the girls being cooped up inside all day so knowing the nursery utilizes both indoor and outdoor space is important to us. In terms of learning, whilst we don't see what they are doing every day we do get some updates on the app. More importantly, though, we can see our daughters developing and the staff at Mighty Oaks have contributed to that. Whilst fussy at home, the girls eat everything at nursery. I don't know how they do it! Our youngest daughter has food allergies and all staff are well informed and diligent. We really recommend Mighty Oaks.

Mighty Oaks has built the foundation in her learning and development for when she starts school. Such an amazing team and I couldn't ask for a better one to look after our girl.

Mighty Oaks are not just a nursery, they are family. They treat all the children and families with respect and always provide empathy and compassion in everything they do. The care they provide is outstanding and it clearly shows when the children are beyond excited to see them in the mornings. They nurture and develop the children-allowing them to grow independently whilst being supported. All staff know the children very well and always demonstrate an understanding of the needs of each child. We are so glad we chose Mighty Oaks and feel that our child has benefitted from attending here, they allow the children to climb as high as they can dream and achieve their fullest potential.

I am so happy we chose Mighty Oaks to look after him and I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they have done and continue to do.

My son has thrived during his time at the nursery. He has learnt new skills and eaten new types of food by copying other kids in a social environment. He continues to surprise us with new skills that have been developed in the nursery.

The staff are professional, attentive, inclusive and kind. They always answered our questions and fulfilled our requests. It was nice to be greeted by smiling faces upon arrival and they didn't shy away from hugs (given my daughter is quite affectionate it was important for us). They supported my daughter in any area that she needed support and I felt that we could really work together in order to bring the best out of her. I love the fact that they are very nature focused and that the nursery isn't a huge establishment. Mighty Oaks is situated in a wonderful setting and they have access to beautiful nature. Our daughter maintained good nutrition there and she was always clean when we collected her (no snotty face for example) which was a very important factor for us. I think it is a very well priced nursery too.

My son has absolutely thrived at Mighty Oaks. His confidence and social skills have improved greatly and he always looks forward to going to nursery. The activities and resources are vast. I know that he will have fun and be safe when he is there. The meal options are healthy and there is great selection. The staff are friendly, supportive and professional. I really couldn't wish for a better place for him to go! Thank you!

A very nice and welcoming experience I've had since my son joined Mighty Oaks. He has continued to surprise me on how very far he has come and developed in the setting of Mighty Oaks. His learning especially has come on leaps and bounds. I would highly recommend this nursery to family and friends. My younger so will be joining hopefully next year as his 2 years funding starts. The staff are very friendly and very supportive and also a great help on any help you might need.

Having found a need to relocate our daughter from another nursery, we feel that the move to Mighty Oaks Day Nursery & Preschool is one of the best decisions we could have made for her. The team are warm, welcoming and pay a great deal of care and attention to her emotional and educational needs. Indeed, she got on so well that we enrolled her younger sister too and they both continue to show very pleasing progress. The team's focus on the well-being of our daughters is borne of a genuine desire to understand their individual needs; working hand in hand with us to monitor and record their progress. Mighty Oaks Day Nursery & Preschool continues to go from strength to strength and we are very happy to be part of the family.

Mighty Oaks was the first nursery that my son went to. He started from the beginning of September and really enjoyed their big playground/forest. He became more and more confident and independent there. He learned how to interact with others too. Thanks to the staff! They are very responsible and enthusiastic to my son’s developments. I am happy to send him to Mighty Oaks every week and there’s no doubt that I would like to introduce Mighty Oaks to my friends.

My son only started at Mighty Oaks Day Nursery a few months ago but it was the best decision I made. After a bad experience at a previous nursery, I was so anxious to send him to nursery again but based on recommendations I came to have a look at Mighty Oaks and I could see how passionate you were about giving children the best care. Coming from an early years background myself, letting him go to a different nursery was daunting but I’m so glad I did. My son settled so quickly and is so happy and content with you guys, nothing is ever too much and you are always on hand to put me at ease. All of the team are so attentive and caring and notice even the smallest details about my son and I think that is just amazing. Myself and my son couldn’t be happier with the love and care he receives from the nursery manager and the team and I want to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thank you, couldn’t recommend you enough; keep doing you!

Excellent nursery with fantastic outside space. A smaller family run nursery that really cares and involves the parents well.
