Bilingual Day Nursery & Pre-School Ashby

We love the bilingual day nursery Ashby, they go above and beyond and care so beautifully for our daughter. She absolutely adores attending 3 days a week and her Spanish is nothing short of incredible. They are personalised and care greatly about the children they look after. My daughter is so very fond of Jemma, Carlita, Carla, Cintia, Georgia, and the rest of the team. They listen to any concerns you have and act on them well. They also handle her dietary needs well and for that I'm grateful as an allergy parent. Thanks for all your hard work guys! We also appreciate the chef who makes beautiful homemade healthy meals daily.

Just to start off by saying thank you to all of the lovely staff that welcome us everyday with such love and positive energy! My daughter started at this nursery in November 2025 after spending 2 months at a different nursery. I moved her to the bilingual day nursery in Ashby and have been wowed ever since. The lovely ladies go above and beyond everyday and tick everything on our list that we was looking for in a nursery. From the first home visit they reassured me in every was possible that my daughter would be able to grow and develop and also be cared for to such a high standard. They send so many photos and updates every time my daughter attends which I really do appreciate. I can tell by the photos how wonderful my daughter's days are at nursery! They know all of the children so well and it really makes a difference. I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else you guys really are outstanding!

Our son has just turned two and he has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old. He had big problems with not wanting to eat to start with and the nursery really worked hard with us and him to help him. They have been incredible. All of the staff are friendly, kind, caring. Because it is a small nursery, all the staff know us and our son. Our son is absolutely thriving at the nursery, he loves it. The staff are truly invaluable. We actually drive 20 minutes in the wrong direction for work to take him there because of how fantastic it is. Couldn't recommend them enough!

My daughter has been attending Bilingual Day Nursery for a couple of months now. It feels like a second home to her. The staff members are very friendly and have a great rapport with the children. The nursery has a warm, nurturing and inviting culture. I would definitely recommend Bilingual Day Nursery to anyone looking for a nursery.

All the staff are superb and our daughter really loves coming here. Her English, Spanish and sign languages have all come on leads and bounds since she started. Would highly recommend! They feed the children healthy hearty meals and the outdoor play areas are great.

Could not fault the nursery in the slightest, the support they have given to our family is above and beyond. I know I have chosen the right nursery and it feels like we are all just one big family. Both my children attended and one still attends now and both can understand and speak basic Spanish at a young age. I know he is safe when he’s at nursery and have no concerns, he settled in so well and asks to go on days he’s not in!

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. From day one I have never had a problem with handover as she is so happy to go to any staff member, and can’t wait to play with her friends. The immersion into an environment that is also bilingual, I think, has made a huge beneficial difference to her language and the development of it. Besides that, she was using sign language at under a year old to be able to express her needs which reduced frustration. This is entirely down to the nursery as I had to ask what she meant!
