Keren's Nursery Holland Park

Keren's nursery Holland Park is something very special. Somewhere your child will be loved and celebrated. The staff are warm and creative. My two sons who between them have spent 7 years there loved it. I will be so sad when their time is done.

They retain amazing staff who care deeply. It is a truly happy place and it has brought me and my kids so much joy and comfort knowing how much they are learning through play and building their social skills.

They prepare them very well for school building soft skills such as resilience and confident (shout out to the amazing Jacky). They let kids be kids and give them the most enjoyable and fun start to life. Shabbat every Friday is the highlight of my sons week, how lovely in a world like this.

A remarkable place, the team is professional, kind, patient and 100% trustworthy. Everyone works hand in hand and they guide the children on their journey, help them grow, learn and develop skills. A truly amazing place for our child

Couldn't be happier, 2 kids over 6 years. Both have thrived and come home happy each day. The staff go above and beyond to make it a nuturing environment where the kids are learning whilst having a great time.

Our son has thrived and grown into such a wonderful boy thanks to the team at Keren's. He has been there for over 2 years and we couldn't be happier. The whole team are professional, calm and very caring. They create wonderful and grounding experiences for the children every day, we get updated daily. Nothing every seems like it's too much to ask or approach the team with. It's a really special environment and we couldn't be happier.

We have had a fantastic experience at Keren's Holland Park, I can wholeheartedly recommend it! The staff are kind, caring, and thoughtful, the environment is beautifully kept, the activities are superb, and the kids get lots of outside time throughout the year, even during winter. We have been particularly impressed with the food, which is all prepared on-site and very healthy. Our son had a hard time settling in after being home only with mom prior to starting around 14 months, but the staff have been patient and calm with him every morning. They are clearly experts in creating an environment where the kids can feel safe. They send updates to let me know how he's doing, and I feel completely confident in their ability to help him throughout the day. We love Keren's so much.

We are beyond grateful to Keren's nursery for providing such a wonderful home away from home for our child. The staff are attentive and caring and provide an environment that is continually inventive, alive and stimulating. Miss Paula is exceptional - as is her team. We are pleased with the balance between free play and guided learning as well as the basic tools for life and social skills that our child is absorbing. The children are learning to celebrate life and each other in varied ways. Our child often comes back home and surprises us with new things learned. It's reassuring seeing the children's lives enriched so much beyond the home.

Keren's Holland Park is an absolutely outstanding nursery - the staff could not be kinder and more invested in our daughter's development, and the range of activities is ex excellent. We are delighted with every aspect of her care there.

Our son has been attending Keren's Nursery Holland Park since he was 9 months and attends full time 5 days per week, 9 to 6 due to our working schedule. Although, as is true of any other nursery setting, there are certain things that have room for improvement (e.g., more variety in meals and certain aspects of organization/responsiveness of management), there is a lot to praise about the nursery and its staff and management. When our son started nursery, we were worried due to his age and how attached he was to us but, surprisingly, he was fully settled and had stopped crying at drop-offs within a week. We think this is a testament to the staff at Keren's, which are now a second family to him. Since he started, the staff have fully gained our trust as we feel they genuinely care about our son and we have been able to see first-hand the bond he has developed with his key worker and other staff members. We would not consider him attending any other nursery as he is happy and thriving.

The activities, curriculum, attention of the staff are outstanding. My child will complete her 4th year next year with Kerens and i cannot think of one thing i would suggest to improve in all these years, i have only compliments towards this nursery . They are fantastic!

Our son was 15 months when he joined Keren's. He attends full time from 8am till 4pm sometimes 5pm if our work day overruns. We couldn't be happier with Keren's. The development we've seen in him - from all the things he's learned at the nursery - has been so brilliant. He's grown in confidence with other kids and adults. We get daily updates with a photo or two and a message, and like the fact the nursery is full of very happy energy. Also the management staff couldn't be more helpful and caring. We got great vibes from this place when we first visited and after 6 months of attending we're so glad we chose Keren's for our son's first experience of a place outside of home. On Fridays the nursery closes earlier, initially this felt a bit unusual but I like the fact that we get a long weekend with him. Keren's really does feel like a home away from home.

Independence is encouraged daily throughout my child's routine which is amazing to see at home. Can't thank the staff enough for making me and my child feel seen every single day.

Can't think of a better nursery environment for our children. Incredible team with a strong passion for their job, raising confident independent children! The children are engaged in age-appropriate activities but are always pushed and challenged to learn further. It does really feel like an extension of home! Thank you.

We've been with Keren's Holland Park for over four years now - our son spent 3 and a half years there and now our daughter is there too. Both our kids loved/love going there every day. All staff care for the children together, even though each group has its own set of teachers. They give them lots of cuddles and love and thoughtful interaction. I don't ever worry about my kids and know that they are in safe hands. Great communication with the management at all levels, and easy communication with the teachers. Food is healthy, activities are very varied and they go outside every day as long as the weather permits. Fantastic teachers in the older group that interact with the kids as equals and treat them as big kids. I checked 7 nurseries in the area before I felt comfortable leaving my son anywhere, including all the 'best' ones in and around Notting Hill. What stands out with this nursery is that it is genuine and a home away from home. If you want your child to feel loved and cared for, this is the place!

More generally, there is an absolutely lovely community surrounding the nursery - from the caring and nurturing teachers and committed management to the security guards who know all parents and children on a first-name basis. Thank you Keren's!

Both of my kids have been at Keren's Nursery since they turned one. If you are looking for a warm and nurturing place where they will feel loved, motivated to try new things and enthusiastic about their days - this is it. The nursery became our extended family and we cherish the teachers and community so much.

There is no doubt it is the best in the area!

Healthy food.

The nursery closes early on Fridays, during a few Jewish holidays and a couple of weeks over summer, Christmas and Easter, however, a calendar is provided in advance. It can be challenging as working parents, but we see it as good preparation for school!

Keren’s nursery is incredibly welcoming and nurturing for children and parents. We have had our 2 children at Keren’s (our daughter is still attending) and have had a great experience. The space is divided in 3 levels occupied by different age groups. There is a strong educational focus especially in the older age groups where children learn to write their names and develop social skills or for the younger ones, be potty trained. There are many events throughout the year where parents are invited to attend and where staff puts a lot of effort to prepare. There are additional days off during Jewish holidays and Fridays are short days (ending at 12:30 in winter and 2:00 pm in summer) but there is no half-term break which somewhat makes up for it. Communication with management has been very good so overall, we feel that our children are safe and taken care of at Keren’s and would definitely recommend.
