At Little Willows, a warm home-from-home environment is created where every child feels safe, secure and valued.

The journey begins in the Caterpillars Room (0 - 16 months), a calm and nurturing space that includes a dedicated sensory snug.

Consistent, familiar staff support the development of strong attachments and meaningful relationships during these important early stages of life.

As children grow and develop, they progress through carefully planned rooms designed to meet their individual needs.

In Bumblebees (16 months - 2 years) and Ladybirds (2 - 3 years), children are encouraged to explore, investigate and learn through play.

Open-plan environments and a wide range of accessible resources support curiosity, independence and confidence, while promoting all areas of learning and development.

In the Butterflies Room (3 - 5 years), children are supported as they prepare for the transition to school. The preschool environment focuses on developing essential life skills such as independence, resilience, confidence and individuality, ensuring children feel ready and empowered for the next stage of their learning journey.

The ethos at Little Willows centres on empowering children to make choices and decisions for themselves, guided and supported by a dedicated and passionate staff team.

My son attends Little Willows in Corsham and couldn't be happier. The care and attention that they provide are extremely high and in my opinion, tailored to his needs. The staff are all equally friendly, kind and happy which as a working mother is so important and reassuring. I cannot recommend it enough
Little Willows is a home from home in my opinion.

Little Willows is an excellent nursery that takes great care of my son. The team are kind, caring, and just lovely, and I feel very happy leaving my little boy with them. He comes home every day with new words and skills and he has such fun. They go outside every day and do lots of indoor physical activity
if the weather is truly horrendous. They do great activities with the kids and parents/carers get regular updates via an online portal so we can see what he’s been up to every day. He is stimulated, sociable and very happy there.

Both my son and daughter have been to Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham), my daughter still attends and I cannot recommend them enough. All warm and welcoming staff and they are great with children. During the pandemic the nursery were brilliant and kept parents up to date. My son was very sad to
say goodbye to all the lovely ladies at Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham) when going up to school. My daughter joined in October last year and again they have been brilliant with her, she loves going to Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham), they do lots of different activities and it’s great to see each session on the app. I’ll always recommend Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham).

Little Willows is a brilliant nursery.
All three of my children have attended/are currently attending and have all been so well cared for and all very happy there.
The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. They are approachable and always willing to discuss and support any areas where needed, such
as toddler behaviour challenges!
They have helped all my children grow in confidence and develop their skills, whilst having plenty of fun doing so.
Their communication is excellent - I’m always given full details of how my children’s sessions have been when I collect them, telephone calls during the day too if needed. The nursery are also very good at keeping parents up to date with any nursery changes or new information.
The children have a great variety of toys/equipment to play with and the nursery staff arrange lots of fun activities too. The children are also given lots of opportunities to play outside also.
I would recommend this nursery!

We have been using this nursery since my child was seven months old. He loves coming to nursery and comes home with many stories to tell. The ladies are all welcoming and friendly. The management has been very helpful in accommodating extra days when needed and excelled in adapting days and hours through
this whole Covid-19 pandemic.

The staff at Little Willows have made both my children very welcome. Staff and management are always available to talk to and answer any questions, which I really value. They are so supportive, particularly valued during potty training. I get sent regular updates and pictures on the parents' app. The
open plan nature of the nursery made it stand out for me - it feels like a little community and I like that the age groups get to mix. I enjoy leaving my daughters there and knowing that they will see one another during the day. I think it's also made it easier for my older daughter to transition between age groups. Before Covid, they went on regular trips to the park, library and on walks which was excellent. I'm sure that will start up again when it's possible, but they're making the most of their outside space, meanwhile.
Reply from Little Willows, Manager at Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham)Hi Oonagh,
Thank you for your wonderful feedback regarding our Corsham nursery! It is a pleasure to care for and support your lovely girls in their early year's development.
We can't wait to be able to get back out and about around Corsham with the children, once it is safe to do so! We are certainly missing our trips to the park and library!

I highly recommend Little Willows Corsham, my son has been going since he was nine months old. He is now four years old. All the staff at Little Willows are amazing. Nothing is too much and they make you feel as a parent more relaxed knowing you are leaving your most valuable possession in their care.
What first drew me to Little Willows was the open-plan setting and lovely enclosed and safe garden. They have a chef on-site who prepare daily, healthy meals and snacks. They supplied nappies and sun cream so I never had to worry about forgetting to pack these items in his bag. I am constantly receiving updates and what he has been up too on an easy app that notifies me via email. It’s brilliant. They have helped wean my child from milk to solid foods, use a cup to drink out of, and now supported potty training him. Along with other milestones. His speech and understanding has come on so much. Five stars from our family.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.413) out of 10 for Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham) is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 3 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.806 for Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham) is calculated as follows: ( (30 Excellents x 5) + (5 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 36 Ratings = 4.806
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.607 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Willows Day Nursery (Corsham) is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.25
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 42 number of registered child places is 8.4. 3 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.4 = 0.357
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
