Hamond House Day Nursery (Leeds Road)

Great nursery, my daughter loves going and her development including her speech has come on leaps and bounds. Any issues that I have had has been sorted immediately. Thank you for helping my daughter grow and become the amazing little girl she is today.

The staff at Hamond House nursery are amazing. They are so welcoming and give good feedback on my child at the end of the day. Both of my children have enjoyed it at the nursery and always want to go back in the holidays as they miss playing there.

My son has been with Hamond House since 2022. He has additional needs and Hamond House welcomed him with open arms. All the relevant professionals were involved and my son thrived. He still attends holiday club and he absolutely loves it. He has build a strong bond with the staff members and we as a family have build a beautiful bond with the nursery. I always recommend this nursery to family and friends.

I could not recommend this nursery enough, they have truly been outstanding from the beginning of looking round their nursery to settling in visits to now. My son has settled amazingly with the nursery and this is due to the amazing staff. They always put him first ensuring that his needs have been met. I can see how my son's personal and academic development have grown within less than a year with their incredible support of him being there. All of the staff communicate with ourselves ensuring we are kept upto date and we can feel at ease. I cannot thank them enough.

I really did my research before putting my daughter in and based on the reviews and Ofsted chose Hammond House and I'm 100% so happy I have, I will be sending my second child here and have no doubt he will love it just as much as my daughter has, she loves the school and the nursery teachers, they are prompt and efficient on the app so you're always up to date with everything, it really is a brilliant nursery. If it were a school I would keep my child here and carry on her education!

My son has loved coming to nursery and always tells me he can't wait to come back the next day. He has enjoyed making new friends and building new relationships with the staff. He always looks forward to going and playing with his friends.

They've been absolutely brilliant in supporting issues inside of the nursery and also at home. The support I've felt as a parent has been incredible. My boys know the staff by name and absolutely love going and playing with them and their friends. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My child has been attending Hamond House Day Nursery (Leeds Road) for over a year now and after having little contact with different people after covid, he settled in perfectly, they have been very supportive when he's been Ill with hospital visits and medical needs. I couldn't ask for a better team to help with our childcare needs and is always happy to be passed over each morning.

I was so anxious about our daughter starting nursery at 9 months old, only ever spending time with us and being so small. However my mind was quickly put at ease by the fantastic team at Leeds Rd. Staff gave us all the information we needed and we met our daughter's key worker, Laura, who was fantastic. Forward on 5 months later, and our daughter is flourishing. She's always so happy to go to nursery and when I pick her up she usually wants to stay! Every day she is doing something fun and exciting, which I'm always updated on by the app. 100% would recommend.

My daughter has been attending Hamond House for just over a year now, and honestly, I cannot recommend this nursery enough! Friendly staff and very informative of what activities throughout the day the app is amazing and gives you all the details of what your child does in a day at nursery even down to when they had nappy changes. Fast replies from staff too. Since starting nursery my daughter has been thriving and even started to crawl with her key worker for the first time, I would 100% be bringing any future children to the same nursery for sure. My daughter attends this nursery and has been going here for two years. My daughter has the most amazing bond with her key worker and cherishes her. She comes home and talks about her day and how much fun she has had. My daughter has blossomed in so many ways from attending this nursery. She has learnt her numbers, colours, speaks so fluently and has smashed potty training. I couldn't think of anything they could do better.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. My daughter really enjoys attending - she has attended both Leeds road and Battye street and all the staff are brilliant with the children. I will definitely be recommending this nursery to all my friends.

My daughter has been attending since she was seven months old. She is now three years old and she absolutely loves it at nursery. She settled in from the start, with each staff member making her feel comfortable and cared for. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite and inform me of everything my daughter has done that day. The outdoor area is brilliant for the children to play and explore. The stay and plays are fantastic. My daughter has built positive relationships with each member of staff at Hamond House Day Nursery (Leeds Road); I could not ask for better people to care for my daughter whilst I am at work. The food provided is, as my daughter says, yummy! The app the nursery have given access to allows me to see what food she has eaten that day. I would hugely recommend the nursery to others. My eldest daughter also attended the after school club, which she loved going to. Due to my work hours changing, she is no longer attending however she misses each member of staff and is eager to go back!

My baby attends the Battye st nursery. She is already thriving at this nursery, and with it only being her second week. She has settled in very well and the staff are brilliant and with their support she is meeting her needs. An amazing nursery, with staff that are caring and brilliant parent working partnership, to make me feel involved. I definitely made the right choice for For my baby with this nursery.

My daughter has been with Hamond House since she was 6 months and I can not recommend and praise this nursery enough. The staff are amazing, caring and nothing is ever too much, they genuinely care. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds and always has a smile on her face from dropping her off to picking her up! It's such a relief to know she's in safe hands and I never worry or have a reason to complain. They go above and beyond and have been a huge part of my daughter's progress and I am so grateful and happy that I chose Hamond House.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for just over 2 months now and has settled in wonderfully! The staff are so lovely, and always ensure we are kept updated throughout the day on what shes doing/eating/ naps etc. Developmentally, she is excelling currently and flying through her milestones, something I know the staff here are definitely contributing to! She always looks to have so much fun on the photo updates they send, she is eating a massive variety of healthy foods each day and always has a big smile on her face when I pick her up at the end of the day. Every parent worries when sending their child to a nursery for the first time, but I could not have picked a better place for my little girl. I can not recommend this place more to anyone who is looking for childcare for their little one.

Both of my boys attends the nursery and there has been no issues with anyone. My first boy joined the nursery in 2020 and it's been a smooth journey ever since. Staff's are very friendly, helpful and polite. The level of professionalism is top-notch with their services. Can't wait to register my little girl too.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. All staff and management are so friendly and welcoming. As a first time mum they have really put my mind at ease. They give me regular updates on my daughter and pictures of what she's up to which I love! The flexibility is absolutely fantastic, as a shift worker I can book my little girl in when needed. The facilities are brilliant for the children and it has a lovely homely feel. Would definitely recommend.

My son just started this nursery after spending two months in a different one. He was still crying there every time we dropped him off until the last day (he is currently 14 months) and here, he absolutely loves going. He never cries and when he sees his main carer, he is so happy. I'm so glad we found a place where he feels safe and his development is being looked at individually. Thank you.
