I am so happy we chose Kids start for our son, this is truly an exceptional and special nursery. I looked around so many nurseries and Kids Start really stood out for the thing that matters the most; the practitioners looking after your child. I was struck by their warmth, professional, enthusiasm and care towards the children. It really stood out and set them apart. The nursery is like a little school with amazing facilities and beautiful outdoor play areas. My son has been so well cared for during his time here. I have always felt so safe leaving him there, which is so important. There are robust policies and procedures in place which align the nursery with other educational environments such as a school. The management and owners are really respectful to their staff and it shows in their happiness and low turn over. My son has developed lovely bonds with his key workers and has come on so much in key areas of his development. I can't fault Kid Start, thank you all so much!

My daughter has recently started Kids Start and I am so pleased I chose the nursery for her, the opportunities she will have whilst there are great, especially the outdoor areas and extracurricular activities she can do! I also love the use of the app, I feel really connected to the nursery with the regular updates I receive!

We send our two children to Kids Start and are very happy with how quickly they settled there and how well they progress and develop. The outdoor space is amazing and even though my son would happily spend all day every day on the bike track, they do a range of great activities. The staff really listen, e.g. they supported our requests when potty training my son, and they always have time at the end of the day to tell me about how each has got on. The transition from one room to the next has also been really smooth, e.g. they share photos of the new room in advance so that you can talk about it at home, make visits to the new room, and a member of staff moves up with them for the first week so there is lots of familiarity for them. Thank you Kids Start for all your hard work.

Just fantastic care! Already know our child after barely a month - would recommend this nursery to any and everyone. Experienced, friendly staff, informative pictures and information via the app, and - most importantly - the perfect place for our daughter to learn and grow. Thank you!

Our son has been at Kids Start for about a year and a half now and has loved it since day one. He had no issues with settling in and has made a great group of friends, whom I can see him staying in touch with for years to come. The staff organise loads of different activities to keep them busy throughout the day and month to month they have different themes, so nothing seems to be repeated. I also love the fact that they bring in external people, like specific dance and music organisations. All the staff seem to know all the kids by name and are always warm and welcoming. They only thing I wish they did have is a more modern tool for tracking updates and sharing observations, but the one they do use does the trick. We'd highly recommend Kids Start to anyone.

We have absolutely loved seeing his development thanks to the efforts from Kids Start staff, it’s a wonderful feeling knowing that our child is in a nurturing and safe environment! The outdoor areas at this nursery are fantastic. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff, you deserve all the praise and accolades the nursery receives!

Both my sons have attended Kids Start since they were 10 months old and have thrived under the excellent care they receive. Kids Start has amazing outside space and my boys love being able to explore and play in all weathers.

Our daughter has been at Kids Start for over two years and she has loved every single day there. All the staff are amazing and friendly. We recommend Kids Start to everyone. As parents, we trust the staff and we know that our daughter is in good hands. The chef is Italian so the food they get is amazing and she loves everything she gets there.

My son has been Kids Start for a few months now and really settled in. He comes home tired and happy, which is a real joy. The staff do give a lot of attention to him, and he actively reaches out to them when we drop him off. Would recommend them for any parents ready to go back to work.

Our little boy started at Kids Start when he was just 6 months old. We were very nervous about leaving him but the staff are all fab and he has settled in really well. He always comes home with a big smile on his face, we love to see and hear what he has been up to on his days in nursery. Daily sheets and an app that shows photos are a great addition to his care! Nothing is too much trouble and love how the staff are helping him to develop and grow! A special thank you to his key worker who has been amazing with him from the home visit, to his settles and his day-to-day needs, she goes above and beyond! We are so happy with his progress! Highly recommend Kids Start to anyone.

I've sent all my three children to Kids Start and have always been happy with the care they've received. The staff are all very friendy and some have been there since my first born attended over eight years ago. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Some fab staff members, excellent teaching and great outdoor space. The weekly menu is fantastic and my son really enjoys his time at Kids Start Nursery, Northernden. The teaching seems varied and interesting.

Highly recommend Kids Start Nursery, my son loves it and my daughter was last year.The staff are friendly and so approachable if you need to ask them anything, I cannot thank you all enough for everything you do! You're all doing a fantastic job with the children and so kind and caring, I could not have picked a better nursery for my son.

Happy with the nursery for my nearly 3-year-old. She’s engaged, happy and well-fed at the end of each day. Lots of outdoor time as well as external visits for subjects like French and music. Communication is via the app, which is a mix of admin and updates about our child. Staff turnover and absence seemed to be an issue at times in 2023 (I assume this is common for the industry), but seems to have improved recently.

My daughter goes to this nursery and it’s honestly amazing. She was a very clingy child and loves to be with me. This nursery helped me with settling her in which was hard for us both. They have always gone above and beyond for my daughter and the app you can track what your child’s been up to all day while at nursery. They are honestly the most loveliest staff, can’t fault it.

Since our child has started at Kids Start we have been really happy with the standard of care and all of the activities she gets up to. The team always communicate what has happened in the day and how my daughter has got on in terms of meal times, sleeping and playing. I love how much time the kids spend outside, in all conditions and in appropriate clothes. The nursery and staff have all contributed to her development and it's amazing to see how much she has changed in the last twelve months since being there. My daughter has lots of friends and talks about them when I show her pictures. You can see why the nursery has been awarded outstanding in Ofsted. I would highly recommend the setting.

My eldest daughter attended Kids Start nursery at 9 months old right the way through until starting school, it was amazing then and I decided to put my youngest in there at the same age, she is now 2 and it’s still amazing. They both have thrived with being there and all the staff are so lovely! Majority of the staff still work here from when my eldest attended, I have built a lovely relationship with them all over the years. The nursery is very well run, and I have 100% confidence that my daughter is well looked after and is very happy there!

This is a lovely nursery to send your little ones to. They get great support from the caring staff, lots of outside play with an amazing range of toys and equipment and different activities such as singing and dancing. My little one has gone from the baby room and is now in his third room and we have seen him develop so much in this time with help from Kids Start! As a parent at work, it’s lovely to receive pictures of my little one at nursery having a great time. Couldn’t recommend enough!
