Little Lodge Nursery

Our two children have been attending Little Lodge since they were in baby room - the first joined in 2022, and the second joined in 2024. We feel very fortunate that we found such a great nursery! The staff at Little Lodge are caring, knowledgeable and approachable. Both our children have made lovely friendships in their rooms, and have done a variety of fun activities - for example, they have weekly dance classes, football sessions, and the staff work hard to introduce themes (such as autumn, under the sea, Chinese new year) on a weekly/fortnightly basis that activities centre around. They have healthy cooked meals, supplied by the school and have a varied menu. They have recently refurbished the nursery rooms and toddler outdoor space which all look fantastic - all equipped with new toys, and activities, which has given it a really fresh look. I highly recommend this lovely nursery!

My son has attended this nursery from 11 months old and now is in pre-school. My daughter also has attended from a similar age and is now in the Tweenies room. Both my children have received outstanding care and I couldn't ask for a better childcare setting. The staff are very caring and attentive and have been very quick to respond to any worries, questions or queries we may have had. This nursery and some key members of staff who have become like family to us. Me and my husband can go to work knowing our kids are safe, well looked after and are learning in the process too. Another bonus to Little Lodge is the food they are given within the school. There is such a wide array of food that they are served which has been great for pushing my daughter out of her comfort zone. We highly recommend Little Lodge Nursery.

My daughter attended this nursery from Tweenies through to pre-school. The staff are positive and engaging and nothing is too much trouble. It felt like they really took the time to know my child and encourage her to be herself. She was always happy to go into nursery, which as a working parent makes things easier.

Both nursery and office staff are very friendly, approachable and will always do everything they can to accommodate additional needs, they have helped settle my child in so well after relocating. The effort that is put in to the daily activities is amazing and so lovely to see pictures and videos of what they get up to, my child is very happy going to nursery and always comes home telling me all about his day.

Evidence of a lot of thought goes into the activities, which are very good at helping young children engage with the wider world, and are well balanced. An increased focus on food provision for tea has improved the offering and added more variety. The staff are very engaged and the children forge good relationships with each other.

Throughout our time, the staff have always been amazing. They are both caring and fun. In preschool, I have been impressed with their approach to preparing the children for school so they can feel confident in their skills from day 1.

I was a bit hesitant about her starting nursery as she's been with me at home for the whole 2 years of her life but I can not explain how calming and welcoming Arnold Lodge staff have been! They've really helped my daughter feel comfortable and confident in their setting and it shows when she's not there as well. I have worked in childcare my whole career and I have never met a bunch of staff members who genuinely care about children as I have at Arnold. They are very transparent with how my daughter settled in and also do events which allow the parents to get involved which I love! My daughter has also grown a bond with the room leader and another staff member, which was shocking as she doesn't bond with many people and asks to go to nursery on weekends. I'm over the moon with Arnold Lodge and would refer them to all of the parents I know. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Everyone at Arnold Lodge Prepcare has been fabulous. The staff are always engaging and provide useful feedback everyday. The forest school provision has been a highlight of my daughter's week and she loves the activities. Thank you all!

Arnold Lodge is an exceptional nursery. My sister has thrived so much since being there, her interaction with other children has come on leaps and bounds and the staff there are incredible. The place is so welcoming and my sister comes home every day with new things that she has done and learnt. I would 100% recommend booking a viewing, it's definitely worth it.

The staff are so friendly and lovely. We went and looked at a few nurseries but this was the only one I felt I was happy to leave my daughter at. She loves going and they do so many different things. I would highly recommend here for any child.

Our daughter has really thrived at Arnold Lodge Prepcare Nursery. The staff are always extremely welcoming, supportive and caring. They clearly want the very best for all the children in their care. They’ve gone out of their way to tailor the curriculum to our daughter’s interests and she loves the activities and experiences they provide. As parents, it is wonderful to be so well informed about how she is progressing and for our input to be really valued.

Thanks to his time at Prepcare, I have every confidence our son will transition well into school in September. I, however, will mourn the loss of our connection with such a wonderful team!

I have two children who are utterly enamoured with Arnold Lodge Prepcare, and they're always ecstatic to wake up to the news it's a school morning! The staff are what attracted us there in the first place - they are all so attentive and caring, and always plan fun and engaging activities which the children adore. They are extremely accommodating and always have time for a chat. We couldn't be happier!

Our daughter has been attending the nursery since January, after we moved her from a smaller childminder setting. She has settled in so well at Arnold Lodge Prepcare and we are thrilled with the way she has progressed in her self-confidence and her learning. She will be going up to the Pre School in September and is currently enjoying her settling in sessions as part of her normal day at nursery, which means she is excited rather than phased by the prospect of moving rooms. The staff are excellent - they are all very personable and approachable as well as enthusiastic about the children they look after. We would highly recommend the setting and our daughter can't wait to get to "big girl nursery" in the morning to play with her friends.

I cannot praise this nursery enough. Management and staff are excellent and genuinely care about all of the children they look after. All staff are very friendly and approachable and feedback given is excellent. I also love the photos and videos sent through as they enable me to see how much my son has developed in their care.
