Evergrove Nursery, formerly Blackdown Preschool, is a community-focused early years setting located in Mindenhurst, a new village developing in the Camberley/Frimley area in Surrey. As the community grows, the nursery plays a vital role in supporting local families by offering all-year round wrap-around care from January 2026. This expansion will provide greater flexibility for parents seeking reliable, high-quality childcare throughout the year.

The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, offering a safe and inclusive environment where children can grow through play and exploration. Activities are designed to foster children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, with well-equipped indoor and outdoor spaces promoting creativity and active learning.

Evergrove Nursery provides places for children from 12 months up to school age and accepts government-funded childcare hours where eligible. The setting prioritises close partnerships with families, ensuring that each child’s needs are met and that they thrive in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Parking is available on the premises, with additional parking available on nearby residential streets to ease drop-off and collection.

A one-off £100 registration fee applies.
£50 is payable on registration, with the remaining £50 due when your child starts.
This covers registration, induction, and settling-in arrangements

Evergrove Nursery is committed to inclusive access to early education. No child will be refused a place due to a parent/carer being unable to pay the registration fee, and support may be available where the family qualifies for funded early education following a confidential discussion with the manager.

Our fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

My daughter has been attended Evergrove from September 2025. Since my daughter went to Evergrove, she has learnt many things. Her Speech and social skills have improved among many other things. As having toured other preschools and nursery's, I had seen different extremes of cleanliness and organization.
Evergrove balance both things with great success and hard work behind the scenes, alongside being affordable with those of us with fundable hours. The Garden is a great size for children to play in with many types of activities to engage children. My daughter is excited to go to school everyday as I could never provide the activities and education the staff at Evergrove can. I am very happy with my choice to enroll my daughter at Evergrove and I recommend Evergrove to everyone I know.
