The Old Station Nursery Stratford-upon-Avon Pre-School is set in the grounds of Bishopton Primary School, making it a convenient location to help prepare your child for their transition to school. The Pre-School offers exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

The Pre-School is designed to enable children to choose resources and activities, and consists of two areas: one for creativity, with activities such as modelling, crafting, mark making, drawing, and playdough, and the other for exploring construction, small world, role play, and maths, as well as a cosy book corner.

The Pre-School places a strong emphasis on outdoor play, and has a Forest School area equipped with a mud kitchen, tepee, log seating area, water play, and an undercover area, so that children can explore the great outdoors in all weather. The children participate in daily nature classes, which support their curiosity and learning.

The preschool is such a lovely place. My son has grown so much and all the staff are lovely. It was the prefect move up from the nursery and we couldn't be happier.

My child has attended The Old Station Nursery for over a year and we couldn't be happier with our experience with the nursery. My child has additional needs and is non-verbal, and every member of staff at the nursery has taken the time to get to know and understand him, as well as helping and supporting
us all as a family as we navigated the education, health and care plan process and school applications. We feel very lucky that our child attends this nursery, and we will be very sad that his time there is coming to an end when he starts school in September.

Everyone at pre-school has always been so lovely and caring towards my son. He loves coming to play with his friends and to do various activities. Pre-school is such a lovely environment, and all the staff are friendly and approachable. Also lovely, varied food options which are always enjoyable. Great
daily updates at pick up, and love the info provided on the app.

Ever since moving my daughter to pre-school my mind couldn't be more settled. The staff are incredible with all the children and get daily updates of my child's day. All the meals are very healthy and again get lots of updates. My daughter has learnt a lot and grown with confidence, as a mother I couldn't
be more happy and grateful.

Both our daughters have come to The Old Station Nursery and both have had a great experience, they have learnt so much in preparing for school and really enjoy coming to pre-school. The staff are very friendly and forge great connections with the children.

Fantastic preschool setting!
My son attends 3 sessions a week and the transformation in him has been marvellous.
The staff is wonderful and has accommodated my son's additional needs
The staff are magnificent especially the staff who put so much time and attention in with my son and have made amazing
progress with him. He loves being there and he has come on developmentally in leaps and bounds since attending.
Wonderful setting and I recommend it highly to anyone.

My son absolutely loves this preschool! My son's confidence and speech have made improvements, thanks to all the staff that helped him achieve the best. The team (staff) worked remarkably hard to get all the children prepared for the next steps to big school (reception).

I think the nursery teachers are amazing and do such a good job at educating and looking after my son, his speech before starting nursery wasn’t that great but in the last 7 months since he’s started it has come along so well and it’s all down to the wonderful women who work at the nursery. He always
comes back home so happy after nursery telling me all about the things he’s learnt that day.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

My son goes here and loves it! The staff are really friendly and caring. My son has drastically improved his speech and constantly talks about what he did, what he ate and his friends. He cannot wait for the next day to go to school.

Honestly, the best preschool we could have ever asked for. The staff are so warm, welcoming and friendly, and always their to listen to the parents. Our little boy has had the manager as his key worker for the past year and he has absolutely thrived! She is perfect for her role as nursery manager and
you can clearly see the love and passion she has for her job and for the children in her care. Our child's confidence has grown massively and he happily skips into nursery every day. We will all be so sad to leave for big school in September!

My son always goes in with a smile on his face and comes out smiling, staff are amazing my older children attended the same nursery a few years ago. Personally wouldn’t send my children anywhere else.

The Preschool Staff are excellent, my son absolutely adores them all but the manager in particular. He’s really grown in confidence and his speech, literacy and numeracy skills are improving daily since he started attending the school. I intend to send all my children there if the standards continue
to be so high and the current staff remain.
