Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Wickham

KLN Wickham is a very nurturing nursery with caring staff who create a safe and engaging environment. They are supportive not only to the children but parents too and ensure excellent communication. We have total peace of mind whilst our child is in nursery and that counts for a lot. Our child has grown in confidence and enjoys the variety of activities each day, it's great they are an advocate for outdoor learning. We are so grateful to their particular attention and care towards our child's specific needs, often being flexible in their approach to ensure safety and wellbeing. Overall, a lovely place and very much recommended.

We immediately got a good feeling from the team on our first visit and since starting at the kindergarten, we continue our o feel very lucky that our child gets to participate in a friendly, kind and nurturing environment. The daily activities seem thoughtfully planned out, wonderful caring team and our child seems to absolutely love being there.

We had a tough time choosing between two nurseries. A year on, we say almost every week how glad we are that we chose KLN. The staff are brilliant. Attentive, nurturing and fun. They get to know each child as an individual and there is a big family feel, with teachers not just knowing the children in their class but the younger children too. This familiarity is so helpful for children transitioning through the classes. Meals are prepared fresh daily by the in house chef, often with ingredients picked from the allotment and children helping, and catering for allergies. Outdoor time is prioritised and when children are indoors a variety of learning materials and activities are set up for them to keep them entertained and encourage their learning and development. Curiosity, self-determination and independence are encouraged and the children have secure attachments that allow them to make the most of these opportunities. As a first time mum, finding a nursery was quite daunting but I had no doubts with KLN that my son would be well looked after and have fun every day. He has made great progress throughout his time so far and the daily updates we receive are amazing and we love reading them with him at the end of the day.

We absolutely love this nursery. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and it's clear how much they care about the children. Isabella feels so relaxed there and really thrives from all the daily activities.

She sleeps well, eats well, and is always happy when she's there. It's been amazing to see how brilliantly she is doing and how well she settled in when she first started. We couldn't be happier with the care and support she receives.

My son has attended Kids love nature Wickham for just under 2 years after moving from a different nursery. Since starting at Wickham he has truly thrived! I believe this is down to the nurturing team that provide such wonderful opportunities that aren't offered at every nursery. Being such an outdoorsy boy the different environments offered has really suited him and he has learnt so much. Especially after spending time with the gardener at the allotment and at their onsite nature school. He is very settled, made lots of friends and finds nursery days very exciting. I'm most satisfied with his care and know he is with the most caring and attentive team!

My daughter has been going for almost 3 years and is absolutely thriving. She comes home chatting non stop about nature school, what foods they picked from the allotments and what snacks they made that day. She spends 90% of her time outside, the settings are beautiful and honestly feel like we're giving her the best start

The nursery is focus on a lot of outside play, which my daughter loves.

I'm so grateful to Kids Love Nature Wickham for everything they've done. They've truly made a positive impact on my children's lives, and I couldn't be more thankful.

My boys are thoroughly enjoying the outdoor space and I love that they are given opportunities throughout each day to explore new interests in a safe and stimulating environment! My wife and I really appreciate the weekly observations and daily posts, with photos, informing us of what they've been up to. The staff have worked hard to cultivate strong professional relationships with the children. We feel really at ease leaving the boys in their care. They also have a chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals. And an artist-in-residence who incorporates nature into their art activities. We are looking forward to the allotment opening up and the new gardener starting in March! Kids Love Nature has so much to offer, and we appreciate the love and care our boys have received thus far.

My Sons both attended Wickham Montessori Nursery School. The staff interaction with my children and us as Parents have been of the highest Standard. The school as a whole is friendly and always upbeat and positive. Both of my children’s development has been excellent and the range of activities available is extensive. Our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Wickham Montessori and we will be extremely sad not to be coming anymore. Thank you all for the care you have taken and for the lovely end of preschool graduation.
