My son enjoys the mornings he has at the nursery. The staff are friendly and very polite. He has been at the nursery since he was 7 months old and I'm happy that we chose this nursery.

The girls are all very good with the kids. Good structure and service. Some days my little girl doesn’t want to come home. The only thing I have to mention negotiate is that they are still waiting on a cook. So lunch has to be sent in. Sometimes I can find it hard to give my little girl a variety due
to the girls not having kitchen facilities. However, I do appreciate this is something ongoing

We have had our daughter with the nursery since she was 12 weeks old and she is now almost 4 years old. We would highly recommend this nursery as the staff are friendly, helpful and focus on child development whilst ensuring what they learn is fun.

My daughter has been in Piccolo since she was 5 months. She is now 2 and I am so proud of how much she has developed.


She is now in her third room and loves every day she is there. She gets to experience things I could never teach her at home and she is becoming a smart, independent little girl.


There have been a lot of staff changes since she's been at the nursery but she has coped well.


I did baby led weaning and the nursery were great at sticking to this. They are also quick to let me know if she has had a bump or if they think she needs to see a doctor due to illness which I really appreciate.


When I pick my girl up, I love spending a bit of time in the room chatting to the staff. It is clear they are very invested in my girl as they know everything she has been up to and if they are not sure of anything they check with someone else straight away.


What I love is they incorporate a lot of outdoor play in all weathers which is not something I would always be able to do.

The nursery teachers are fab with the kids. They are easy to approach and talk with. All staff are very polite and professional. My son has attended for years now and has progressed through most of the rooms. He enjoys his time there and has great relationships with the staff. The rooms are well laid
out, plenty for kids to do and lots of space to play inside as well as a large enclosed garden to play. My son loves his nursery and I would highly recommend Kirktonholme.

Overall the nursery is great and provides a high standard of care for my daughter. She is very comfortable with all of the staff, and I feel that they know her very well and act with her best interests at heart. My daughter always participates in a variety of activities to stimulate her learning and
looks forward particularly to outdoor play. She always comes home telling me something new that she's learned.

All staff have welcomed our daughter and worked hard to help her settle as she did struggle being away from us for a while. We feel reassured when she is with the staff that she is safe and happy.

My daughter attends this nursery since I've been back at work after maternity and after a long time settling which was handled well by both staff and management who dealt with my concerns. Since settling my daughter have came on leaps and bounds in nursery and loves spending time with her friends and
even staff members, we've seen a massive improvement in her development and can't thank the nursery enough.

My daughter has been attending Piccollo for several months now and we are really pleased with her overall progress. She is more sociable now that she is around kids her own age and she loves playing and interacting with her friends. She loves her core group workers too! We’re hoping to take up her free
nursery hours too with Piccollo rather than put her in a school nursery!

I love this nursery. My daughter also loves this nursery. The staff are amazing with her and most of all give me peace of mind she is in the safest place when I am away studying. They have gotten to know her and her routine so well and this, in turn, makes myself and my daughter happy. Thanks for all
the hard work you guys do on keeping our little ones safe! This nursery also ensures my little one has lots of fun as well as developing her skills and encouraging her to progress.
