Sandy Bear's Nursery & Pre School Tattenhall

After looking around lots of nurseries, I instantly loved Sandy Bears. The staff are so warm and friendly and all the children were so happy. I knew it was where I wanted my little girl to go. She has grown so much since starting Sandy bears. They are always doing so many different and new activities. She absolutely loves it and gets so excited when it’s nursery day.

My son currently goes to Sandy Bear's and my daughter did prior to starting school. The owner and staff at Sandy Bear's are fab. I have no concerns when I drop my children off and know that they are always well looked after. Being a parent at Sandy Bear's is like being part of a big family, all the staff really do love and care about the children and their families. The support I've received from the owner and assistant manager throughout the years has been second to none if they can help they will. I quite often need my son to go for extra days and this is always accommodated when they are able to do so within their ratios. Extra activities are offered, as well as professional photos which are always nice to have. Their approach to learning is something I love, they aren't little for long and I love that my son learns through playing and exploring, rather than being sat down to learn his ABCs.

Sandy Bear's is a fantastic nursery. My daughter is nearly two and gets excited about attending nursery which is great as it is hard to leave her to go to work, the fact that she loves all the amazing staff at Sandy Bear's makes it easier.

I have just had another daughter and I will be booking her space shortly to ensure she is able to attend when my maternity leave is over.

Couldn't recommend Sandy Bear's enough.

My eldest child started to attend Sandy Bear's at the age of 1, from the moment we walked into Sandy Bear's for our first visit I was very impressed how the staff interacted with the children and how the children responded to this. He ‘loves’ attending Sandy Bear's and from a development perspective we feel he has come on leaps and bounds. He has an amazing relationship with his key worker and all of the other staff. My youngest child (5 months) has recently started to attend Sandy Bear's, he already has a lovely bond with the staff and the biggest smiles for his key worker. We depend purely on Sandy Bear's for childcare and knowing they are happy and being nurtured makes leaving them while we work a lot easier.

I continue to be really happy with the care provided by Sandy Bear's. All of the staff work tirelessly to provide a welcoming and stimulating setting that the children love. Activities are varied and there is always a fun packed day in store when we arrive. It's great to know that the children are so well looked after and that communications with parents are so good. If you have any concerns there is always time to chat with a keyworker or manager. I would be happy to recommend Sandy Bear's to anyone.

When we moved I was so worried I wasn't going to find a nursery I loved as much as the one the girls left, but when I went to view Sandy Bears I fell in love! Nearly 5 years on, all 3 of my girls have loved it and blossomed into lovely kids, some of this credit has to be due to Sandy Bear's! The staff are so friendly, funny, loving, caring and ever thinking of ideas to be creative with the children and know just what to do to bring the best out of them! Yes, the kids come home mucky most if the time but a sign that they've had the most amazing day! I would highly recommend Sandy Bear's to everyone and frequently do! My 3rd daughter is about to start preschool in September and I know Sandy Bear's is the best place for her to grow and develop the skills needed for school with staff that have known and cared for her since birth. Sandy Bear's are not just people, they are family xx

A wonderful nursery with a really good ethos for learning in a natural and holistic manner. The staff are fantastic and took great care to help settle my son when we moved to the area, he loves his time there.

They have both developed so much educationally and socially from being at Sandy Bear's and this is due to the hard work and dedication put in by the staff who are often seen working late and at weekends in order to give the most they can to the children in their care.

The best thing about Sandy Bears is all the staff, as soon as they open the door to you they are happy and smiley. You know your child is going to be safe and loved with them.

My daughter has attended Sandy Bears twice a week for the past 10 months and loves it. From dropping her off on her very first day, the staff have been kind and caring towards my daughter and reassuring and supportive to me as a parent.

My daughter has a fantastic relationship with her key worker and room leader and it is truly heartwarming to see how much they enjoy having her there too. They are always willing to spend time discussing what experiences she has had that day and it is wonderful to see her develop and grow in confidence. My daughter will soon be transitioning up to Big Bears and I have no doubt that she will receive the same care and kindness that she has received in Bear Cubs.

The outdoor facilities are great, offering lots of opportunities to discover and play. Children are also regularly taken out of the environment to explore the village and local library. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Sandy Bears to any parent.

My daughter has been attending Sandy Bears 3 days a week since she was 10 months old. She is now 2 years 3 months old and has become the confident loving funny and clever little girl due to the teaching and care she has received here. Each day they are experiencing something new. The staff here work hard and always have a smile on their faces and I know that each day when I pick up my daughter she has had a wonderful day.

Professional and superbly caring staff at Sandy Bears has meant that each time we leave our daughter it is like leaving her with extended family. The fun, warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere provides an environment in which we have seen her thrive and develop.

She has an exceptional relationship with her key worker which makes going to nursery all the more exciting and rewarding for her. We particularly like the nursery diary which is a memorable keepsake of her experience. It allows myself and my husband the opportunity to (corroborate her account) relish her experiences.

The staff are patient and approachable and will listen to any issues in which you need their support. In the time she has been at the nursery she has progressed well - particularly her confidence and language/conversation skills. All in all, Sandy Bears is a safe, playful, engaging, educational and happy place which we would recommend to any new parent.

All three of my children have attended Sandy Bears and still do. The older two currently in breakfast club. My son attends every day and I can honestly say they all enjoy it. The environment is stimulating activities are well planned and the staff are second to none. Yours child's development is the most important thing they have thrived being at sandy bears, my son had a few issues with speech, but with the help and dedication from the staff has flourished. I would not hesitate in recommending Sandy Bears to any parent.

I am really pleased with Sandy Bears and how they have encouraged my child to develop and interact with others. He loves his day there and has always had an activity packed day. His speech has really come along since starting at Sandy Bears and his character has really come out!

All the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

My little girl has been going to this nursery for over 18 months now she does 3 days a week. I have found the nursery to be very encouraging with helping the children on their learning paths and skills.

Sandy Bears encourages great play and learning, and there is always a smiley face to open the door to parents!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 6 months now. Her development through structured activities has been tremendous and I enjoy reading her learning journal each day. But perhaps the best review of all is her beaming face when I drop off & pick up. She loves it and clearly has great fun.

All in all I find Sandy Bears a friendly, happy place for my son to attend.

Good nursery all my children have attended and not had one problem with there education would recommend this nursery to all my family and friends well structured and lovely friendly staff from the minute you drop your children off to when you pick them up.
