Caversham Nursery

My daughter has been at Caversham for almost four years (since she was a baby to now, about to go to school) and we couldn't have been happier with the care she has received. It's a lovely community with an amazing garden and space for the kids, and an incredibly warm and nurturing environment. "Caring is sharing!" my daughter tells me a lot! The staff are all completely lovely with remarkably low turnover for a London nursery which we've really appreciated. Management is efficient and organised, and we will be very sad to leave at the end of the Summer.

It's hard to put into words how grateful we are to everyone at Caversham Nursery. Alice has been with you since she was just 11 months old, and you've been such a special part of her life.

Watching her grow into such a happy, confident, and caring little girl has been incredible, and we know so much of that is thanks to your love, patience, and encouragement. Thank you for caring for her as if she were your own and for giving us complete peace of mind every single day.

We'll always be thankful for everything you've done. Caversham Nursery will always hold a special place in our hearts.

This nursery is nothing short of phenomenal. I feel lucky to have found it. My son started at 2 and the nursery went to great lengths to settle him. When he struggled to sleep at first they asked what his home routine was like and copied it exactly to make him feel supported. Including singing baa baa black sheep 100 the first time apparently. He's stayed until he was ready for pre school. He's shy and someone who needs to be given time to try things and they understood him straight away and have supported his little soul the whole way through. He leaves an incredibly confident and happy boy and I owe a lot to the nursery. My daughter started at 10 months after I was made redundant on mat leave and needed time to job hunt. Again she settled quickly and now waves her hands with excitement whenever we arrive. The nursery have been amazingly supportive and flexible when i've asked to swap days to attend interviews. It's a community, not just a nursery.

Fantastic care for our daughter since she was a year old, and she is still going back for school holidays until she is five. A great environment, caring practitioners, good activities, lovely garden and considerate to parents commitments.

We love Caversham. Our son has been there since before he turned 1. The care of the staff creates an incredibly nurturing environment. The size of the classes and the wonderful garden are all added bonuses.

Caversham is a very special place. Noorjuhan and her team go out of their way to make the children feel at home. From the first week of leaving my son in their care I knew he was being well looked after by kind and compassionate people, and now almost three years later as he looks to move to school I know he considers the staff his great friends. He tells me as much every day! I've been really impressed with the range of activities they do ( baking, yoga, crafts, expeditions ) and the emphasis they place on outdoor and creative play (They have a large garden which is rare for such a central location).My son's language development has come on leaps and bounds since being at Caversham and I know he reads a lot with the staff. My son has always been so excited to tell me about his days at Caversham which speaks volumes. I feel very lucky to have found it, and can't thank Noorjuhan and her brilliant team enough for their care and dedication over these past 3 years.

My 16 month old absolutely loves going to nursery here. The staff are fantastic and he gets to do loads of fun things every day, including lots of burning off steam outside - which is useful for him as a very active boy. They have a great selection of toys, trikes etc and do lots of water play and painting. He always has a good day at nursery.

I would not hesitate to recommend caversham to any prospective parents, they have a wonderful team and community!

We're kept informed about our girls' weekly activities and progress, which gives us peace of mind knowing they are happy and well cared for. We are so grateful to have found Caversham Nursery!

We couldn't be happier with the Caversham Nursery. The team is truly exceptional and well-versed in childcare. Our son is in excellent hands. The nursery has a warm, homely atmosphere and a beautiful garden that our son adores. Each staff member genuinely cares about the children and is dedicated to providing the best care possible.

What I love about Caversham is that they all meet the children's needs at a personal level, understanding the child and helping them be more confident, more social, and character-building. I myself have been a TA in a nursery however I've never seen so much love and care at such a professional and personal level. Caversham has such a lovely environment. We loved the Nursery so much we wanted more days during the summer holidays.

Another very important factor is that most of the staff remained the same for the whole time my son has been there, including the manager and I feel we are a family with a lot of them!

I am impressed with this nursery and its excellent staff. All the staff are lovely and create a wonderful environment for the children. My child is flourishing, coming home with new words every day, and sometimes doesn't even want to leave. It's clear that all the children are enjoying themselves and thriving here.

I had a thorough discussion with the new manager of the nursery during which I could explain in detail what I thought the problems were and we managed to come to a mutual agreement. I was in the end pleased with how the manager addressed my complaint, I felt heard and understood, which was not the case before. Thanks to this I am left with a much more positive view of the nursery.

My daughter has been at Caversham Nursery since she turned 1. She couldn't be happier - we've seen her development come on in leaps and bounds and she loves going to nursery, she runs into the room every morning! The staff are caring, great with all of the kids and clearly know what they're doing and, most importantly, love what they do, it's really easy to see that in the way they treat the kids and parents. The outdoor space is really great, rare to get so much outdoor space in this part of London especially and it's lovely that the kids can explore as much as they want and that there's also a variety of activities and trips. The manager also always keeps us updated with what's going on in the nursery and in the local community and is always available to answer any question big or small. We can also easily see what our daughter is up to via the app, which staff update regularly. We're so happy with Caversham and couldn't recommend it enough.

My son struggled to settle into nursery for the first few weeks, but now he loves going and freely walks in/puts his arms out to the staff when we arrive. Their manager is professional and accommodating, always keeps us in the loop with emails about the nursery and how we can get involved. They are very on top of security in the nursery, which is comforting to me when I’m not with my son. Now my niece (and my son's cousin) goes to the nursery and she is loving it too! We love how much outdoor space the children get to play in too, with the free-flow approach, they can explore outside and inside all year round.

This is a great nursery. My son is 2 years old and he loves it. The stuff are really friendly, they are great with kids and they organise lots of activities and get parents involved which is great! The garden is a big plus as well. We love it here!!

We have known Caversham Nursery and the staff for many years. Our youngest daughter (1-year-old) started in early summer. Settling in was very smooth with her lovely key worker. She enjoys going to nursery every morning. All staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The large garden is a big plus which few other settings can offer. We can see daily activities via an online portfolio. Caversham is a really nice place and our older children have fond memories of their time there.

My daughter attends Caversham Nursery and is extremely happy there. The nursery staff are friendly, welcoming and approachable, they always greet my daughter at the beginning of the day and are nothing but polite upon collection, they keep me updated each day with what she’s been doing and how her day has been. They’ve taken the extra time to ensure they know her likes and dislikes, and have always been adaptable to her needs as and when needed. The care, support and time taken by each member of staff to ensure my daughter is happy and settled is truly inspiring. My daughter gets the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, led by adults and is encouraged to be independent, thus ensuring she is given opportunities to progress, learn and reach her full potential. The nursery has an amazing outside space in which the children are encouraged to play and explore. Staff are attentive, flexible and understanding of inclusive practice, they go the extra mile to support my daughter.
