The Cradle Nursery Wigston

My kids have missed them all so much, they have even been back into say hello!

Our four year old son attended the Cradle Nursery for two years. We have only positive things to say about the staff and management. They are always warm, kind and supportive. Our son came on leaps and bounds whilst at the nursery and it has prepared him for big boy school. We highly recommend this nursery to any family and want to say a big Thank You to all at the Cradle Nursery for caring for our son!

My child has been attending The Cradle Nursery since September 2024, I have had nothing but experience with the staff. My child was always a fussy baby in terms of eating, the staff had been informed of this and they really try hard to make sure he eats his main meals, which I am grateful for (now he eats all his food ). They have different meals throughout the week which is great for picky eaters. I have been to a few stay-and-play sessions with him and from what I have seen he is comfortable with the staff (running up to a staff member for a cuddle when she entered the room) which makes me feel he's happy and in good hands. Overall, I am happy to have enrolled my son to this nursery.

My son has been attending The Cradle Nursery for almost 3 years now and I genuinely couldn't be happier with them. The staff are absolutely incredible - they have gone above and beyond to make sure my son feels special, supported, and encouraged. He has blossomed during his time here, growing in confidence and learning something new every week. An especially big shoutout to the manager for providing our family with unending support throughout the challenging and turbulent times we faced as a family over the years. I will be forever grateful. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a nursery that's not just a place for care but an environment where my son has thrived emotionally, socially, and educationally. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching experience for their child!

My son had attended this nursery since March 2021 and I have seen a massive improvement in his communication and confidence. The nursery has definitely aided in his preparation for primary school. All the staff at the nursery have been very supportive, kind and helpful. A very special mention to three members of staff, in particular - my son talks non-stop about them. I know that he will miss the nursery a lot.

They have always come out of the nursery feeling happy and speak only positive things about the staff. Thank you to everyone at the nursery for making an amazing start to my children's learning and development.

My children absolutely love it here. One of the best things about this nursery is how flexible they are with their time compared to other nurseries. Responses are quick. I have and would highly recommend this nursery.

The Cradle Nursery is an amazing setting for young children to thrive and develop. I have sent both my sons to the nursery, with the youngest now ready to go to primary school, and The Cradle staff have made such a difference to my little boy's development in terms of speech, confidence and his friendship groups. I cannot praise them enough for how much they have helped us. The manager at the nursery is amazing; she is so personable, approachable and kind and really does go out of her way to help families with flexibility and support. For me personally, The Cradle Nursery has been a home from home for my kids, and we will miss the setting very much.

The nursery is large and well equipped for a wide variety of activities including an outdoor garden area.

The staff are very approachable with any concerns you may have about your child or care. I'm so glad I chose this nursery for my child.

I will get feedback every day as to how my daughter has been throughout the day. I am sure I’ve made the right decision by starting my daughter in this nursery and will definitely recommend it to all the mums.

Excellent nursery who provide a great service. Highly recommend it. This is my child's first nursery and he has settled in very well. The staff are very friendly and professional and the nursery provides excellent services for the children. My child enjoys playing outside and this nursery has created an indoor play area for when the weather is not so good.

The staff are extremely friendly, polite and I believe that they care and look after my children as I would look after them. The staff is very well qualified and plan child centred and well-structured activities to support young children's learning and development. I feel that we are so lucky to have this Nursery near us where I can leave my children and not worry about them. Nursery Caters for all sort of dietary requirements which is a plus point for me as my children only eat Halal meat. Management is great and very approachable. The manager is always supportive and flexible. We love spacious rooms and all the equipment in the nursery especially the Garden. My children enjoy playing in the garden as it's so huge and beautiful. The nursery also has an indoor play are available for children if they can't use the garden in extreme weather which we really appreciate. Another facility that helps parents at drop offs and pick up times is onsite parking. I give 10 out of 10 to the Cradle Nursery.

My daughter has been coming to the nursery nearly three years. She thoroughly enjoys going every morning. The nursery have an excellent rolling cycle of meals over a three week period. The meals are all freshly cooked in house to a very high standard. The teaching of my daughter is very good. The nursery undertake a range of teaching mechanisms such as small phonics group work and where they identify any areas of improvement the nursery speak to us to discuss. They follow the EYS very well. The staff are great and friendly and always provide good feedback on my daughter's day even though this can be viewed via an app they use.

Very happy with the experience, the staff are so lovely and welcoming. I'm pleased my daughter enjoys her experience and is building up her development. Just a shame she tests us in the morning by arguing but I know as soon as she goes through the door for breakfast she's fine.
