Burleigh House Day Nursery

My daughter has attended BH since she was 7 months old and I've always been happy with the care and support she has received. Their attention for policies, safeguarding and safety has been reassuring for me. Since the recent change in management and the recent introduction of the app, I feel even more involved in my daughter's day to day activities. My daughter has really thrived in BH, from a shy baby to a confident and happy pre schooler; her vocabulary has grown so much too! When she moved from toddler to pre school room she had a really hard time settling in, but we had a clear plan for settling in which we decided with the manager and the staff. They handled it with patience and reassured us so much! We are incredibly grateful for the love and care our daughter received, the staff is absolutely fantastic, loving and caring from baby room to preschool room!

Lots of examples where the nursery has been child led with the learning or play activity eg when then notice a genuine interest from the children they decide to create a whole topic on that theme. My child is confident and happy going there.

We have had a positive experience from day 1 with Burleigh House nursery. For us, location is ideal. But we have found staff welcoming, friendly and informative. Both our boys are currently attending Babies and Preschool and thriving. Our three year old is making friends and loves attending. Our baby has adjusted well to the sessions and was comfortable being left with staff immediately which is always reassuring. The communication is really good, very prompt responses. The environment promotes learning and they have changing themes which we are made aware of. We receive regular updates on development. And receive photos most days they attend, which is lovely to see them. Menu choices promote a healthy diet. We would recommend our nursery to others.

We're incredibly grateful for everything the team has done for our family, and we have complete confidence in sending our younger son there when the time comes. We couldn't recommend the nursery more highly.

Couldn't recommend Burleigh house more. They have made our very shy daughter feel safe, comfortable and cared for, she happily goes into nursery. All staff are kind, compassionate and child centered and we will be definitely sending our baby there when they are old enough. They are always willing to adapt to our child's needs / routines where able and have helped her develop by doing this. They take on board feedback and make active steps to change e.g the recent signing up for flying start. If you're looking for a friendly professional nursery, you can't go wrong with Burleigh House

Our second child Olive currently attends. Olive has Down Syndrome and all the staff have been so supportive of her needs helping her with her sign language mobility and overall just going that extra mile. She's is now talking walking and thriving. She's made some lovely friends and we will be gutted when she goes off to school.

I would highly recommend this nursery, it has a lovely home from home feel. Staff seem really experienced and caring and the babies/children seem happy and settled. My son started here at 10 months and has settled really well. The staff know him well and they do a range of different activities in the nursery on a day to day basis. The outdoor space is well-equipped and the relatively small size of the nursery means that I feel I'm leaving my son in a small and nurturing environment where he will have his needs met.
