Half Day - £43.00 (7.30am-1pm or 1pm-6pm)
Parents and children who are eligible can use the funding towards their daily or half-day fees. We also offer free Flying Start funded sessions every afternoon from 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

The facilities are lovely and homely and immaculately clean. The staff genuinely seem to love their jobs and they celebrate almost every occasion, including those from other cultures which they teach the children about.
The children get involved with cooking, choosing activities and choosing menus. They get plenty of outdoor play and there are lots of outdoor activities in the garden.
They are also learning Welsh, my daughter often comes home with new Welsh phrases and sings Welsh songs.
I couldn't recommend this nursery more and will be sending my son there too when I return to work.
Communication is great too. They're readily contactable by using a particular messaging service and we receive regular updates on the app which is great.

Due to family issues and all the lockdown bubbles, Highgate was the first experience my daughter had in her first year,
She is due to start school full-time in September 2024 but I wish she could stay at Highgate forever!

There are always lots of activities for the children to do and when the weather is nice they always take the children outside to play.

I moved my little one to this nursery after being unhappy with a different nursery. It was the best decision for my little one and my peace of mind.
Highgate’s staff are very approachable, friendly and engaging. They seem genuinely happy in their jobs, and it’s clear the staff get on well as a team. My toddler loves his key workers and talks about them at home, which is a testament to them. The staff provide excellent food and so many activities for the kids. Lots of messy play, songs, educational games and creative play. I am so very happy to have my toddler attend here.

Great caring staff, feel relieved dropping my son there! My son has enjoyed his time in the nursery. Friendly staff. The car parking facility is good. A lot of options for food, but my son does not have much food there.

My little girl attends Highgate in Uplands and absolutely loves it. Since day one, all the staff have been friendly and helpful and are easy to approach with any queries or questions. The activities my little girl takes part in are always fun and educational. They have a lovely outdoor space, which the children use, and I know my little one enjoys spending time outdoors. They also look after my older child during the holidays, and he loves attending, despite being a bit shy, the staff have managed to help him enjoy and look forward to attending the nursery. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, secure and happy environment for their little one.

My daughter is very happy in Highgate Day Nursery, started in the baby room now in toddlers - lovely craft activities, baby yoga and baby signs, Welsh language lessons and activities, theme parties, play outdoors and a good selection if meals including fruit and vegetables with lunch and dinner as well as promoting water as a drink with meals. Very good contact with staff both face-to-face and over email. Their other branch also does Forrest School but unfortunately, this one does not yet, fingers crossed very soon.
