Abacus Day Nursery

Abacus is a wonderful nursery which provides excellent stimulation and compassionate care. My child has learnt so much from being at Abacus and had a lot of fun too. The team are friendly and knowledgeable and most importantly the team have remained stable for the whole year that my child has been attending.

The staff at Abacus go above and beyond for the kids. They don’t just look after them but can tell they really care. It comforts me knowing that my child is there during the day and is happy. I also love the effort they put into keeping me up to date throughout the day on how my child is doing, this cannot be an easy task, doing this for every child.

My son has been attending Abacus since mid-December 2023. He had previously been to another nursery for 6 months. Abacus staff have made him feel more settled in a few weeks than previously had. He really enjoys and the staff are amazing. They give in-depth details of his day. We love his overview reports. We are really happy and recommend Abacus to everyone. Thank you.

Abacus is such a great nursery. My daughter has come on so much since going here. All the staff are friendly and really supportive of my gentle parenting style. They are super helpful in their guidance in potty training also! Also, the food is super healthy and fresh.

We have been so pleased we chose Abacus for our daughter, she has been there just over 2 years now and she loves the nursery and all the staff. All the staff know our daughter really well, so much so that we’ve used them for babysitting outside of the nursery too. The activities are always varied and interesting, she especially loves yoga. The food offering is brilliant and well-balanced, even considering our little one is vegan.

My son and daughter have both attended Abacus and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The nursery is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly but professional. They ensure the children undertake a wide range of activities and are provided with a range of healthy home-cooked foods. It’s never easy entrusting your children’s care to someone else but Abacus make it easier knowing they are well cared for.

My three children went to Abacus Day Nursery and have all been very happy there. My 3-year-old loves playing with her friends and is very happy with the staff. The best things are the wonderful staff and huge range of enjoyable activities. These range from meeting dogs and tortoises to playing in the garden, soft play and messy play. The kids love getting messy and babies especially learn a lot I think. I've been impressed by the range of nutritious food which has helped with new food at home. The staff are absolutely lovely, flexible and have been extremely supportive during the pandemic. I would highly recommend!

So happy with this nursery. I was concerned about my little one starting as he’d not had the opportunity to mix with others due to the pandemic. I needn’t have worried as the staff are so kind and reassuring, emailing me photos regularly and always giving lots of feedback at the end of his session. You can offer activities that we just don't have the imagination resources or patience for. An absolutely fantastic nursery which my two little girls love attending. It’s almost like a second family! They are always talking about what they do there and the amazing staff that care for them and their faces light up whenever we chat about what they’re learning at Abacus. The staff are brilliant and pay such attention to every tiny detail of our girls’ well-being and development. If you’re looking for first-class daycare in Swansea then look no further than Abacus. Abacus is a fantastic nursery. I was nervous to send my son to nursery for the first time during lockdown a year ago but the staff were absolutely fantastic, he has grown in confidence, language skills and has loved going there! The staff are friendly, approachable and have always been more than happy to answer any questions or worries I have had. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely fantastic nursery. I was a bit apprehensive about sending my little son to nursery for the first time after being at home for his first 16 months but the staff were very professional, friendly, and personable and answered all our questions, and were very comforting and reassuring, especially as we were unable to look around due to Covid restrictions. They have a variety of activity rooms and facilities such as a garden, soft play, and sensory rooms for the children to explore and enjoy. They do lots of fun and educational activities throughout the day and have been very proactive in trying to meet all my child’s needs. After missing my child all day, I very much look forward to getting the daily report back in both written form and verbally off staff as it gives us an insight into all the lovely, fun, and educational activities he’s done during the day as well as all the deliciously healthy, homemade food he’s enjoyed. I would fully recommend this nursery.

Fantastic bilingual nursery and preschool. The staff are extremely caring, professional and give great daily feedback. Abacus Day Nursery clearly invest in their team. A lot of thought goes into activity planning to give the little ones a great day. I can't recommend highly enough.
