Buttercups Nursery

The staff here are excellent. I always feel one hundred percent comfortable leaving my son here, knowing he will be well cared for and will have lots of fun, as well as learning through play. He has been going there since the baby room, so over three years now and I would only ever have good things to say about Buttercups Nursery to anyone who asked for a recommendation.

Buttercups Nursery is very well run. All the staff are lovely and it has a homely feel to it. They accommodate shift workers and nothing is too much trouble. The outdoor space is amazing and they do loads of activities with the kids. Would highly recommend.

We love Buttercups Nursery! The staff are friendly, professional, creative and care so much for the children. We look forward to hearing the children's stories from school and seeing the various crafts they bring home. The food is excellent and a great hit with our kids; when one of them had a food sensitivity for a time the chef went above and beyond to make sure he had delicious alternatives. We appreciate the safety measures put in place to protect the staff and children from the coronavirus and feel really safe bringing children there. We have recommended Buttercups Nursery to all of our friends!

Excellent nursery. The staff are so helpful and friendly and would do anything to help you out. I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. They always come out so happy.

My daughter has been in Buttercups Nursery since September and I could not praise the nursery any more! They have been fantastic at settling my little girl in, especially during these tough and challenging times. I have seen my daughter come on leaps and bounds the past few months and it’s all down to the fabulous staff at Buttercups Nursery. I was very nervous about leaving my daughter in a nursery setting full time, but Buttercups Nursery have made the nervousness disappear. I know everyday that my girl is in excellent hands. The activities/learning they do are educational and improve a variety of key skills, all of which we are kept up to date with via Tapestry. I love getting photos and videos of how well my girl is getting on. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, knowing my daughter by name when she arrives in the morning, which I think is a lovely, personal touch. I always recommend Buttercups Nursery to people who ask. I could not be happier that my daughter attends here!

The manager and everyone at Buttercups Nursery made us extremely welcome and my daughter settled in really well. Since then, she has moved up through a few age groups, the nursery is one amazing place run by amazing people. My daughter has come on so much, I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

A wonderful setting, my three children have had a great time at Buttercups Nursery. Lovely staff with a really caring and supportive ethos for the children, nothing is too much trouble! The staff really take the time to get to know the family and keep you updated with a daily diary and with regular observations. Wonderful place!

Our little girl loves Buttercups Nursery. The team are amazing and have adapted incredibly throughout the pandemic. She has been through babies, big babies and now toddlers and has loved every step. We wouldn't send our daughter anywhere else. Thank you team Buttercups Nursery.

The staff at Buttercups Nursery are fantastic. They are so caring and go out of their way to help if they are able to do so. Throughout this pandemic the staff have adapted well and have endeavoured to keep our children safe. Highly recommended. Both my daughters have excelled here.

Amazing staff. Friendly clean environment. My daughter is happy going to and from Buttercups Nursery every day. The staff will go above and beyond to help you in any way that they can. I couldn't ask for more from a day nursery. My youngest has been going since she was a baby and will be sad to leave this year.

Buttercups is a fantastic nursery and the staff are brilliant. I can't thank the staff enough who have have been there to support my little girl from being a toddler when she first started. She is now a very independent little girl and has learned so much and gained so much confidence being at Buttercups. All the girls are so helpful especially the Nursery manager. My little girl enjoys going and has made so many friends with the other children and the girls who work there. I cannot thank you all enough for how you have brought my little girl on. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone.

My little girl started Buttercups Nursery in June this year when she was 13 months. I was so nervous leaving her and of course, she cried when I left which broke my heart but the girls in the baby room were so welcoming and reassuring and always told me how happy she's been throughout the day which is always good to hear. She no longer cries when me or dad drop her off. She's now in the big baby room and loving it. I love how they are always outdoors and the girls that work in both rooms we've been in are fantastic, so approachable you always feel at ease with them.

I'll write a bit about my little family. I have 3 wonderful children who are always with me day and night so as you can imagine when I first took them to nursery I was an absolute wreck. My 2 older children ran in the second time we went and haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had! My baby who is 18 months old sobbed the first day, which broke my heart but the girls reassured me he would be fine, they told me to phone anytime I wanted and when I rang they told me about all the fun things he was doing. Today is his last day, there were no tears and he went in fine! I honestly can't praise the wonderful staff and owner enough, I honestly never thought I would be comfortable leaving my children with anyone other than dad or Nanny, but this nursery made me feel like my children are with family, such a wonderful place, couldn't recommend enough! I am so sad it's their last day I'm literally in tears as I'll miss the amazing girls who have taken the best care with my children!

Buttercups will go out of their way to looking after and support children. They have always made my daughter feel welcome and she settled in and now loves to be there each week.

My daughter started nursery at 9 months old and, at first, I was nervous about how she would take to it - how wrong I was! She gets excited when we pull up in the car park so I know she has taken to it and I have peace of mind knowing my little one is well looked after. The staff are friendly and well informed, they keep me up to date with all her progress. She eats well there - meals are well planned and offer a wide range. Children do a wide range of activities inside and outside in a secure area. I would honestly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area, the value for money is excellent and most importantly, my daughter is happy.

I moved our daughter across from another nursery when we moved into the area and saw a huge improvement in her development almost instantly. She was talking more, had bags more confidence and was toilet trained within her first month.

She also virtually stopped hitting out and really began to love other children.

I knew I had a ‘spirited’ child, but Buttercups have helped us both to encourage and flourish her strength and individuality in a way that will help her as she grows.

Moving her here was one of the best things we did. She loves coming and loves the girls who look after her, she formed real bonds and I couldn’t thank Buttercups enough for giving me the piece of mind that my girl is both safe and happy whilst I’m in work all day.

We have, and will continue to recommend Buttercups to new parents.

Excellent nursery, my son has developed so much since being in Buttercups. He really enjoys it, the staff and management are so helpful and accommodating. I wouldn’t take my son anywhere else. I love the outdoor space they have and also the variety of healthy food the children get every day. Excellent value for money.

Fantastic nursery. Would highly recommend. The staff are extremely good with the children. There is lots of outdoor space which my son loves. Excellent resources and toys too. My son also has a food allergy and the staff are so knowledgeable and ensure that my son is safe at all times.
