We love this little nursery for our daughter. All the staff are so nice and welcoming and you always get a really good update through the app during the day but also at collection. Since our daughter has been going here (she started when she was 11 months old and she's now 2 and 3 months), she's come on so much and we know that part of this is because of her surroundings at nursery. We obviously love all the staff but our little girl has taken an extra special likening to Tilly and we often get told on mornings when she's going to nursery that she's 'off to play with Tilly's, which as a parent is so reassuring to hear.

Overall Experience

Very friendly and helpful staff. Taking care of childrens and giving them as much education as they could. Very good comunication with parents. Always reporting by app what kid is doing and if something wrong always informing by text message.

My daughter has attended Kids Planet from 18 months old. We are delighted with the nursery, the staff and the activities. My girl thrives there and often asks to go on a weekend. She has learned so much, tries new things and has grown in confidence. The girls at nursery really take the time to get to know the kids in their care, and the relationship they have built with my daughter is lovely. Their love for her reflected in her love for them. Knowing she is so well cared for and really challenged has really helped me manage being a working mum and seeing her so happy to go in at drop off lets me know that it is the right place for her.

I cannot imagine entrusting anyone else with my daughter's education in care in her most important formative years, Kids Planet have got her off to a brilliant start.

It is hard to put into words how grateful we are to the amazing team at Kids Planet for giving Kyra the most wonderful first year at nursery.
Starting nursery was a big adjustment, and the first few weeks were challenging, but the love, patience, and reassurance from the team made all the difference. Not long Kyra got too excited to go to nursery and would often go hide in the bathroom when it was time to come home because she wanted to stay with her teachers and friends. Kyra has blossomed into a confident, happy, bubbly little girl who has made wonderful friendships and come on so much in her development. The teachers has supported us through important milestones, including potty training, and always made us feel like we were in it together. Kids Planet has such a warm, family feel, and the care and communication are second to none.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving Kyra such a happy, safe, and unforgettable start. We will never forget the kindness and love.

Our son has attended the nursery for over a year and he still loves it, he looks forward to nursery everyday and that speaks volumes to us, that's the biggest perk that he enjoys it.
I think it all comes down to the staff, each member of staff is amazing and extremely supportive to staff and the children. Us as parents and our child think very highly of every one of them.
The facilities there are great and the garden is huge, really good for children to play and explore all year round. The nursery document his meals and he eats better than we do, varied meals with a good balanced diet.
We did have issues with billing, days / times that we preferred however thanks to the integrity of a staff member this was resolved, giving more trust in us picking the right nursery for our child.

Our son comes home with a smile everyday so I couldn't ask for anything more, a big thank you to every member of staff from the parents of Oliver. We really appreciate you. Highly recommended nursery !

Hello, I'm Jackie, the Nursery Manager at Darlington. I have worked in childcare since 2010, beginning my career as a childminder before moving into nursery-based early years education in 2017.

I am passionate about building strong, positive relationships with families and supporting our wonderful team to provide the highest standards of care and education. I have a particular interest in outdoor learning and am dedicated to continually enhancing our outdoor environments, creating exciting opportunities for children to explore, discover, and develop new skills.

My aim is to provide an enriching and engaging curriculum that inspires children to learn, builds their confidence, and supports them in reaching important developmental milestones.
