Maisie has had a fab time at nursery! She has 1 more month left before starting school nursery. The old vicarage have been incredible at every stage. Toilet training was a breeze as they were very good at starting her out and continuing with her. In her final class she loves her teacher yasmin as talks about her alot. The food they also serve is amazing and varied. Most of the time when I pick her up she is happily playing outside! Such a fab nursery no complaints at all :)
The staff have been kind, caring, and supportive throughout his time here. They've created a warm and welcoming environment where he has grown in confidence, made friends, and learned so many new skills. It's been lovely to see how much he's developed during his time at the nursery.
Communication with parents has always been good, and it's clear that the team genuinely cares about the children and their wellbeing. Leaving is bittersweet because we've been so happy with the care he's received.
When he first started he had a dairy allergy and we were assured this was not a problem at all and all information on the alternative foods given was provided and he never felt singled out as a dairy free alternative of what all other children were eating was offered.
He has always thrived and been so happy at nursery and pre-school and I can not give enough credit to everyone who works at the nursery as they do a fantastic job.
I have loved watching him grow and make friendships and connections with other children and staff members while attending and you can see how passionate all members of staff are.
My little boy if moving on to school but my daughter will be starting in 2027 which is a credit to the nursery of how amazing they are that after 3.5years my boy is leaving but I'm happy my daughter is joining.
My little girl joined the Old Vicerage in February at 8 months old. Since being at the nursery my little one has continued to thrive, and is making progress each week. All the girls from her classroom know her routine and my little girl well, which makes leaving her for days at work that bit easier. Mel (nursery manager) is always on hand to help with queries, and makes good bonds with the children as well. We would recommend the Old Vicerage to any family.
My daughter has been at this nursery since 10 months of age. At every transition point, she and us as parents have been made to feel informed, prioritised and cared for. The staff here have always made me feel so happy because it's clear how much they care for every child they look after. They go above and beyond and my daughter loves them all and talks about them all the time at home. As a parent we just want to know we are doing what's right for our children and ive never doubted that. To see how she has developed in every way and how happy she is let's me know she's in the right place. I cannot say enough good things.
We feel reassured that our daughter is safe and very well taken care of.
As a mother, finding the right nursery for my child was one of the biggest decisions I've had to make - and I can honestly say this nursery has been nothing short of amazing.
From the very first day, the staff made both me and my child feel completely welcomed and supported. The team is warm, patient, and truly invested in each child's wellbeing. My little one settled in so quickly, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment they've created.
The daily activities are thoughtful, engaging, and tailored to help the children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I love receiving updates and photos throughout the day - it's clear how much care and attention goes into everything they do.
My child has blossomed in confidence, made wonderful friends, and runs into nursery on her nursery days without hesitation. I couldn't ask for a better place. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching setting for their little one.
Kids planet is a fantastic nursery who have amazing staff!! My little boy needs extra support and the nursery have been absolutely brilliant and helping him feel more comfortable and happy at nursery. They also support the parents too. Overall outstanding and would recommend to anyone!!
I couldnt be happier with my choice of sending my boys tot his nursery! My boys have thrived since coming to nursery and are supported by the kindest Staff. My twins love nursery and their teachers! They have helped us and them feel at ease since the boys started back in September 2024! They keep up us updated through out the day on hownthe boys are, how theyve slept, eaten ect and we even get photo often of them interacting with activities and other children, which i love see! I cant wait to see how the boys continue to progress and thrive at nursery, and cant thank all the staff enough for the support and comfort they gave our boys X
My daughter has been to this nursery since she was 9 months old and everyone has been very accommodating, caring and supportive of my little girl, her teachers are lovely and let me know exactly what she has been doing each day. I feel like she is well looked after and that the girls are all trustworthy and ensure she is safe and happy. she settles in really well, as they are so caring. They do a veriety of different activities to stimulate the babies in clean and tidy classrooms and do stuff related to what's going on in the world, which encourages the children to learn about different things. I am happy with this nursery.
My Son has attended The Old Vicarage for 18 months now, he had a rough start as he didnt settle straight away, but the staff helped not only him settle in but also me as a first time mum. He has thrived since attending nursery. Over the last few months we have noticed a massive difference in his speech and understanding, he comes home singing his phonics & talking about staff and children very highly, he is 9/10 happy to walk into the classroom with his teachers each morning, and often doesnt want to leave at home time. We can not thank the staff enough for all they do for our son. The setting itself has always stood out for how clean it is & how well equipped it is with toys ect. They spend alot of time outdoors which we love too. To anyone we meet.. we recommend The Old Vicarage.
Having had my 3rd daughter in 2024, I already had an idea of what I wanted from a nursery.
My middle daughter had attended one in the local area before starting school but I decided to look into other nursery's for my youngest.
I went to the old vicarage first. I was blown away, and no other nursery after it compared. despite knowing I couldn't get my daughter in straight away I put off going back to work to ensure she attended here.
At first my daughter had some settling issues, but the team made sure I was aware at what was going on and kept me reassured. she soon changed her mind and absolutely loves it! She runs in smiling and having watched her in the room she's so relaxed and at home here.
She has come on so much since joining the nursery, and the team are so lovely! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this nursery as one anxious parent to possibly another who is currently looking for childcare! - i can go to work with reassure my child is cared for and safe
A fantastic day nursery filled with amazing staff! My little girl has been attending this nursery since she was 7 months old and she's now turning 3 in December. The staff have been amazing looking after her since her first day. The chef does yummy healthy meals which my little girl enjoys and most of the time the staff tell me she's had 2 portions she enjoys it that much. She takes part in lots of activities that the room leader will organise including teddy bear picnics, making biscuits, sports day and they will also organise dress up days for any holiday & festival celebrations throughout the year. Everyday my little girl is doing something new, the staff are always planning exciting activities. The manager is always around if you have any queries and you will often see her popping in and out of the classrooms to make sure all the staff and children are happy. I have had no concerns with this nursery and my little girl loves it x

I joined the team in 2015, starting as an apprentice and progressing through roles including Room Leader and Deputy Manager. I’ve been proud to lead the team as Nursery Manager for the past three years.
I hold a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification, along with Paediatric First Aid and DSL training. I’ve also completed additional training in Baby Care, Autism Awareness, School Readiness, and Behaviour Management.
I’m passionate about early years development and love building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. Having worked across all age groups, I make it a priority to connect with every child and celebrate what makes them unique.

I joined the nursery in 2018 and began my early years journey by completing my Level 2 qualification, followed by my Level 3 Early Years qualification. Since then, I’ve gained experience working with children of all ages, from babies through to toddlers, allowing me to build a strong understanding of each stage of a child’s development.
In 2026, following our transition to Kids Planet, I became part of the management team. I am also one of the nursery's Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL), helping to ensure every child is cared for in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is seeing children achieve their milestones and grow in confidence. I’m passionate about building strong, positive partnerships with parents, working together to give every child the very best start in life. I also enjoy supporting and encouraging my colleagues in their own professional development, helping our team continue to grow and provide the highest quality care and education.

I joined the nursery in 2006 as an apprentice and completed my Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Over the years, I’ve progressed through a variety of roles, becoming a Room Leader before moving into the management team in 2021.
Throughout my management journey, I have enjoyed supporting apprentices through their learning and Continuous Professional Development (CPD), helping them build confidence and develop the skills they need to succeed in early years.
Since becoming part of Kids Planet, I have taken on the role of Assistant Manager. I’m passionate about supporting and developing our team, encouraging everyone to achieve their full potential. I’m proud to be part of an inclusive management team that works together to provide the very best environment for our children, families, and staff.
