Castle Nurseries at Willow Avenue

I feel so honoured to have had my son here since he was 10 months old, as he has been loved, cared for and supported like he was one of the staffs own children. They supported my son through the milk ladder, speech difficulties and even disagreements with other children - keeping us completely informed and supported throughout everything. It's to the point where on weekends we have to drive past to show him nursery is closed as missed his friends and teachers so much!

The rooms are well equipped, we get beautiful crafts for special occasions, the menu is absolutely fantastic in comparison to other nurseries I hear of, and they celebrate each child's birthday and their daily achievements with you, what more could you want!

We'll all be very sad for my son to move to his school in September but I'll cherish everything this nursery has done for us all for all these years.

I moved my child here from another local nursery because I was unsatisfied with the variation of learning at the previous nursery. Since my child has attended here I've witnessed lots of toys and activities compared to the other nursery. The outdoor play area is really good quality and my child often speaks about this when at home.

My child is happy to go to nursery and is always happy upon collection. My child mentions staff names whilst at home and has developed positive relationships.

I noticed significant improvement in my child's language and confidence since joining the nursery.

My only feedback would be the lack of space for my child to attend an extra day. This is having a financial impact at home and is frustrating. It's understandable it's due to the nursery being so good and in demand.

I was terrified before my son started nursery. He'd previously had a really bad experience at a different playgroup so we were both nervous and apprehensive. When he did his first few days the staff were lovely and put me at ease immediately. My son loved it and made friends immediately and I got on brilliant with all the staff they are all friendly and welcoming and there were tears on the last day of term from them & me. My younger son starts next week he has autism and we tried last term but he wasn't ready but again the staff are fab and have been really patient and understanding and have kept his place available to try him again this term. My older son misses all his friends and his teachers especially his keyworker. I can't recommend this nursery enough the staff are fun and creative and develop real bonds with the children. You can see they care and my son learnt so much from them. I couldn't have chosen a better nursery for my son to begin his journey into education

Willow is a fabulous nursery. The settling-in process for my, then 9 month old, was brilliant (better than other nurseries) and the staff are caring, nurturing and knowledgeable. My son loves nursery, and we feel really assured that he's getting excellent care when he's there. The staff have dealt with dietary intolerances really well and he has good well-balanced and nutritious food every day. The setting is spacious and we love how calm it feels inside, whilst still being homely. My son loves the outdoor space which is newly refurbished and has lots of experiences for him to enjoy. As a Mum, I'm also given lots of reassurance and support by staff which has helped me settle back into work. Would definitely recommend.
