Home from home! Our daughter has been at Harcourt for just over 3 years and has absolutely loved being there. She was originally at another nursery but it sadly went from a family run nursery to a corporate one and it lost its charm. Harcourt is family run and it really shows in the home from home atmosphere
it has. We cannot fault it at all, we are always updated with photos, messages on what they have been up to, what she's eaten etc they are very quick to respond to messages too. I would recommend Harcourt to anyone looking for a charming and family run nursery who really care for the kids.

A wonderful nursery with the most amazing staff. They have encouraged her to learn, play and importantly, encouraged her to be herself.
She is always excited to go to nursery on a morning and still smiling when I pick her up.
The nursery and staff will be missed as she moves on to school.

Harcourt Nursery has one of the most amazing teams and have looked after both of my children in a kind, fun and encouraging way for the last six-plus years. It is always a worry when you send your children to any nursery for the first time not knowing what to expect but the team have, from my kids'
very first day there and onwards, been supportive, reassuring and knowledgeable that they made each of the next steps my children went through so much easier for us and the kids. Thank you for everything.

One of the most striking aspects of Harcourt is its commitment to diversity. The staff hails from various backgrounds and age groups, providing a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives. This diversity not only enriches the learning environment but also teaches children the value of acceptance
and inclusivity from an early age.
The facilities, every corner are thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs and interests of young minds. From cosy reading nooks to vibrant play areas.
Beyond the physical space, the staff and management truly make it exceptional. Their dedication, passion, and genuine love for what they do is evident in every interaction.
Additionally, the team understand the importance of working parents, we have only been called once in 12 months to collect our son as he was unwell.
Harcourt is more than just a childcare facility-it's a home where children can learn, and grow in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The cost is extremely reasonable!

Harcourt Day Nursery has looked after my two boys from when they both were six months old and I have only ever received outstanding care from all the staff. The staff are fantastic and give me a detailed account of their day at nursery at collection. They are always eager to come to nursery each day
the staff are always so helpful. I'm so happy I choose Harcourt Day Nursery and wouldn't want to send them anywhere else! They have worked wonders with my youngest boy's speech and he has come on loads with help from the staff. Thank you for all your hard work!

Would recommend people to stay away from this nursery, they were unable to handle our son's basic needs, never mind his preterm or medical needs.
On numerous occasions he came home upset, he would come home with full nappies, and poop dried to his bum.
We were never informed about how his day had
been, they have an app that they rarely update and when you ask them they tell you to check the app. It was very unhelpful and stressful when trying to explain to medical professionals at appointments how our little boy was at nursery.
There was no care in assisting his development or speech! At his new nursery, he has come on leaps and bounds in 2 months, he's much happier, now speaking and starting to catch up on his development.
If you bring this up with management they're very rude and dismiss you! They do not care.
Please please avoid!

An amazing Nursery with amazing staff.
I would 100% recommend this nursery. My daughter started in January 2018 and has just finished to go to big school. We thoroughly enjoyed every day with this nursery.

Fantastic nursery that has gone above and beyond helping our daughter settle and grow into a lovely, young girl, ready for Reception in September. Would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a great care provider in our area.

My daughter is always very happy at the nursery. Never wants to come home if I'm honest!!!!

My daughter has been attending Harcourt Day Nursery since January when she turned one. She absolutely loves spending time there, from the minute I drop her off to when I collect her she is all smiles. This certainly takes the pressure off me when I'm in work, knowing she's in good hands. It wasn't like
this is the early days, she was very tearful being in a new environment but thanks to the wonderful caring staff she was soon settled within only a few visits. I am always made to feel very welcome by the staff and it's lovely to see all the other children being so well cared for in a very calm loving environment. That is the one thing that stood out for me on my first visit; what a calm and happy place Harcourt is.

My daughter has been going to Harcourt day nursery for over a year now, she started at 7 months I have been extremely happy with the nursery from the moment we looked round. It was such a friendly atmosphere the staff where well informed and answered all our questions and put us at ease. Since joining
my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and loves going to nursery, if I have had to talk to the staff about any issues nothing is too much trouble and comments are always taken on board and dealt with.


I can not recommend the nursery highly enough, it's a fantastic place.

Went for our show around today and were totally impressed!
Enrolled our son with no hesitation to start in November.


The staff showed us around every room and the different stages for each child. We weren't rushed and spent nearly an hour looking round.


The best thing we thought was how happy

all the kids were, the bigger ones all chatted to us whilst they were going in for lunch (which smelled great) there were loads of things for them to do, particularly impressed with the areas designated to roll play and messy play!


Kitchen was spotless and the girls in the baby room explained how they would follow any routine we liked even down to what they would use to wipe baby's bum!


Really happy with our choice and feel completely relieved to have found the place we want to leave our baby!


Also as we were leaving a fire engine pulled up for the kids to explore, brilliant!
