Harcourt Day Nursery

Home from home! Our daughter has been at Harcourt for just over 3 years and has absolutely loved being there. She was originally at another nursery but it sadly went from a family run nursery to a corporate one and it lost its charm. Harcourt is family run and it really shows in the home from home atmosphere it has. We cannot fault it at all, we are always updated with photos, messages on what they have been up to, what she's eaten etc they are very quick to respond to messages too. I would recommend Harcourt to anyone looking for a charming and family run nursery who really care for the kids.

The nursery and staff will be missed as she moves on to school.

Harcourt Nursery has one of the most amazing teams and have looked after both of my children in a kind, fun and encouraging way for the last six-plus years. It is always a worry when you send your children to any nursery for the first time not knowing what to expect but the team have, from my kids' very first day there and onwards, been supportive, reassuring and knowledgeable that they made each of the next steps my children went through so much easier for us and the kids. Thank you for everything.

Harcourt is more than just a childcare facility-it's a home where children can learn, and grow in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The cost is extremely reasonable!

Harcourt Day Nursery has looked after my two boys from when they both were six months old and I have only ever received outstanding care from all the staff. The staff are fantastic and give me a detailed account of their day at nursery at collection. They are always eager to come to nursery each day the staff are always so helpful. I'm so happy I choose Harcourt Day Nursery and wouldn't want to send them anywhere else! They have worked wonders with my youngest boy's speech and he has come on loads with help from the staff. Thank you for all your hard work!

I would 100% recommend this nursery. My daughter started in January 2018 and has just finished to go to big school. We thoroughly enjoyed every day with this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Harcourt Day Nursery since January when she turned one. She absolutely loves spending time there, from the minute I drop her off to when I collect her she is all smiles. This certainly takes the pressure off me when I'm in work, knowing she's in good hands. It wasn't like this is the early days, she was very tearful being in a new environment but thanks to the wonderful caring staff she was soon settled within only a few visits. I am always made to feel very welcome by the staff and it's lovely to see all the other children being so well cared for in a very calm loving environment. That is the one thing that stood out for me on my first visit; what a calm and happy place Harcourt is.

My daughter has been going to Harcourt day nursery for over a year now, she started at 7 months I have been extremely happy with the nursery from the moment we looked round. It was such a friendly atmosphere the staff where well informed and answered all our questions and put us at ease. Since joining my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and loves going to nursery, if I have had to talk to the staff about any issues nothing is too much trouble and comments are always taken on board and dealt with.

I can not recommend the nursery highly enough, it's a fantastic place.

Enrolled our son with no hesitation to start in November.

The staff showed us around every room and the different stages for each child. We weren't rushed and spent nearly an hour looking round.

The best thing we thought was how happy all the kids were, the bigger ones all chatted to us whilst they were going in for lunch (which smelled great) there were loads of things for them to do, particularly impressed with the areas designated to roll play and messy play!

Kitchen was spotless and the girls in the baby room explained how they would follow any routine we liked even down to what they would use to wipe baby's bum!

Really happy with our choice and feel completely relieved to have found the place we want to leave our baby!

Also as we were leaving a fire engine pulled up for the kids to explore, brilliant!
