Green Gables Montessori Nursery

Would recommend this nursery to anyone, our son was preterm and has a few medical needs which are of no issue!

My son is very happy and looks forward to going to nursery. He is full time. The staff are very professional and always update me on what he has done and achieved each day. I am very happy that he goes to this nursery.

Lovely nursery! My daughter always enjoys her day. The staff are helpful and accommodating, and I feel assured that my daughter is well looked after there.

We have been so impressed and feel lucky to have found such a caring nursery. The staff have been fantastic and have made such an impact on our son's social learning and general behaviour. Their care and attention to detail have been amazing we would definitely recommend. Thank you!

I have watched how hard the staff have worked to give my children a safe and exciting learning environment. They plan their activities and give their own spare time to gather the resources necessary. Their immense love and interest in my child shows in her relationship with them and her eagerness and willingness to be left for her sessions. My children feel safe and secure in this setting. My older child who is 7 years old uses the after-school facility and is always smiling and positive on pick up.

My daughter has been attending Green Gables for 18 months. I chose this nursery for a look round for its Montessori and Forest schooling. I chose to send my daughter for the warm and friendly atmosphere I was immediately met with. The nursery itself is small with lovely outdoor areas. The nursery offers funded places - run in sessions (1-6) (8-1) (8-6), offers lovely home cooked meals, healthy snacks and toast/cereal for breakfast.

On a Thursday my daughter does French, and on a Monday she does football training. Then, the thing that clinched her spot there, puddle suits and off to the woods for scavenger hunts etc.

Last week I went in to collect her and she was covered in corn flour. Amazing fun.

In summary, a highly professional nursery with outstanding staff.

Green Gables Montessori Day Nursery has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the staff care deeply about the safety and wellbeing of all the children in their care. My daughter has been attending since shortly before her second birthday and her transition in to a day care setting was seamless. She has loved attending and asks for more time there on a regular basis.

Green Gables offer a true open door policy and communication between parents and staff is excellent. It is evident to me that staff know my child very well. I feel her individual needs are recognised and met well and she has chance to explore, play and learn with her peers in a way that is just not possible at home.

The nursery is clean, the activities are varied and the home cooked food is of an exceptional standard. Staff retention is ridiculously high which provides continuance of care to the children and confidence to me as a parent that staff are happy with the setting.

Fantastic friendly staff. Really caring with the children. My daughter is so excited to go to nursery every morning. They play and engage with the children non stop (I don't how they have the energy!) Really friendly family run business, this makes a refreshing change from most corporate nurseries. Cannot recommend highly enough, very pleased mum.

I have a three year old boy who has attended since 10 months old he has progressed extremely well. He is bilingual and the nursery staff have done everything to encourage the second language, Portuguese, with providing books and activities to include as much as possible. The staff are so friendly my little boy says it his friends house not nursery. I have just returned back to work and my second baby, a little girl, has just started in the baby room at 9 months old and has had no issues and is so happy no problems settling in.

Green Gables is a brilliant nursery. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My daughter has loved it since day one and has a brilliant time there.
