Willow Tree Nursery

We had two children at this nursery. While there are some genuinely lovely staff who cared brilliantly for our children, our experience with management was extremely disappointing.

After I raised a formal complaint about an issue involving my daughter, concerns were subsequently raised about whether our son, who has additional needs, could continue attending on his existing hours. Given the timing, I was extremely concerned that his additional needs were being used to justify reducing his attendance and that this may have been connected to the complaint I had made.

There were also other incidents that significantly affected our confidence in the management and their judgement.

It is a real shame because there are some fantastic practitioners there, but our experience ultimately led us to withdraw both children.

Amazing nursery. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming! My daughter loves the nursery and has been there over a year now! The activities they do are very good and my daughter loves them. I’m so grateful to have this nursery on my doorstep!

The main focus of this nursery is 'child-lead'. I love this and my daughter absolutely adores it. She is able to use her own personality to decide how she would like to learn while having the support of staff members to explain and help with her questions. She loves the 'freeflow' feel of the nursery. She is learning that she 'can do it for herself and to ask if she needs'. I personally feel supported by the nursery in that I'm easily able to contact them, the staff communicate with one another and it's obvious that they all love their job and it means more to them than just a wage. Absolutely lovely place for my 3-year-old to develop and learn. Great place.

My daughter has attended Pearls for a year and has really loved her time in the nursery setting, she absolutely loves going and can't wait to wander through the door and go. I've found the staff very friendly and welcoming when called upon. I've found the app they use to be helpful as an informational record as it's written down which means I don't have to remember when relaying the information further.
