Wakefield Grammar Pre-Preparatory School

We welcome children from their third birthday into our Foundation stage 1 (FS1) classes. In FS1, and until the term after a child’s 5th birthday, we charge fees at a sessional rate based on the hours and days your child attends:

Morning session (8.30am – 11.30am): Free (15 hours per week)*
Lunch session (11.30am – 1.00pm) including lunch: £24.25
Afternoon session (11.30am – 3.15pm) including lunch: £51.95

Once your child moved into full-time education, the fees by year group are:
FS2 (Reception)**: £13,831.15 per year / £4,610.38 per term

FS1 fees are not subject to VAT.

We accept payment from Early Years Funding Vouchers and government tax free childcare accounts and are pleased to provide 15 hours a week free education for eligible children in FS1 and FS2 through the Early Years Funding Scheme (EYFS). Early Years Funding is available until the term in which your child turns 5.

* Free education is available for eligible children under EYFS and are subject to certain eligibility criteria. Funded hours include the EYFS educational provision only. They do not include optional services or consumables such as snacks, trips, forest school or specialist sport or music lessons.

** FS2 fees vary depending on eligibility for Early Years Funding. The fees stated above assumes your child turns 5 during the Autumn term, however some younger children will continue to benefit from 15 free hours through the year.

FS2 fees are VAT inclusive where applicable.
