Staff communicate well, at both pick up, drop off and on the nursery app. Nothing beats a picture of my girl having fun whilst I'm at work! Key workers offer routinely telephone consultations to discuss progress and areas of support, which really helps with communication.
Management has always been helpful.
On the odd occasion my child has been ill or hurt herself, staff have phoned me without delay, and I've come to collect her / consulted a doctor. I know staff have her best interests at heart.
Acknowledging important dates with a homemade card or gift adds such a personal touch.
I would highly recommend!
I cannot rate Little Oaks nursery highly enough. Great communication from room staff and management. Fantastic app to keep updated with daily activities. Lots of planned activities - we especially love the thoughtful gifts on mothers day/ fathers day. I can drop my son off without any worries, knowing he will be well cared for and get lots of play and stimulation. Thank you all for your hard work!
My kiddo has been at Little Oaks since they were 11 months old. They weren't walking yet and now they are running, jumping, climbing and their language and learning has come on leaps and bounds.
This is down to the amazing key workers my child has bonded with, and the brilliant indoor and outdoor play spaces. The key workers have been and still are such a big part of my kids nursery experience. Kiddo is now in the Pre-School room, and still loves their key workers from baby room, and toddler room. My kid loves to give them cuddles!
The nursery rooms and outdoor spaces are wonderful for creating, exploring and imaginative play. My child loves showing me the art they make, playing dress up and story time. They also pop to the local School to take part in Sing & Sign sessions with the older children. They are growing vegetables in the garden, have water and sand play, and get the kids outside whenever they can.
Couldn't recommend Little Oaks enough!
My son started nursery at 16 months and is now just over 3 years old. Although he struggled initially with separation anxiety, he's done really well and is now a confident independent boy. Nursery was very supportive and honest all the way through. My child loves outdoors and he gets plenty of play in the huge playground, cycling, climbing and using slides etc. The staff are kind, attentive and caring. We just hope we had more pictures of our child during the different activities at nursery for souvenirs - but I fully understand that staff concentrate on the moment and caring for the children rather than taking pictures!
Fantastic nursery, fantastic staff, really supportive and understanding of parents and children with disabilities. Very on the ball with support, EHCP and equipment. My son has settled in very well, his first language is British Sign Language and they have supported this. He's come on in leaps and bounds.
I have seen staff new and staff that have stayed throughout the 8 years I have been taking my children there and I couldn't imagine any other people looking after my babies. They are the most kind, caring and energetic people I have ever known and they love all the children as if they were their own children.
Thank you so much to Little Oaks for caring, nurturing and teaching my children the way that I do. You have helped me through some tough times and some really good times and I'm honestly really sad that it's now going to be the end of an era as my youngest leaves for school.
Keep being amazing!
The environment is great inside and outdoors playing ground.
As well the little one is enjoying his time in the baby room, with help from a great and knowledgeable team.
They have lots of activities to learn new stuff and discover so many things from a young age.
I'm really happy with this nursery and our son will be joining in a few months too. The office manager is really helpful, too.
Thank you Little Oaks.
Little Oaks is a warm, caring and nurturing place where my kid has grown from a crawling baby to a running 2-year-old. From the baby room to the toddler room, my child has been able to flourish in whatever areas he chooses. My child loves his key workers and has created special bonds with staff and other children. The rooms are full of fun exploratory areas, and they have lots of messy play activities. The outdoor spaces are fully equipped with areas for play, sand pits, growing fruit, veg and plants, and the children are free to choose between inside and outside play. The food is fantastic and they have catered for our family's vegan/vegetarian preferences. My kid loves it here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
We continue to have the best experience with this nursery, experienced wonderful staff all round. The children are nurtured and continue to blossom! The SEN provision has been excellent, the support and communication is fantastic. Lots of updates and pictures/videos on the app.
I have 2 children at Little Oaks. They both started in the smallest room and have progressed through the rooms. They absolutely love the nursery, the staff are absolutely amazing and we have had a really positive experience. They provide great care and have addressed my child's SEND needs and helped and supported her. We are very grateful for everyone at the nursery.
My daughter absolutely loves it at this nursery, her confidence has grown and she has made some wonderful friendships. My daughter loves all the staff members here and enjoys going to nursery to learn new and exciting things. My daughter has improved in so many ways since being at this nursery and it's all down to the staff and their support. Such a wonderful place for children.
The staff have a great bond with the children and the amount of different activities they do is endless! We get regular updates via the app through the day of food, nappies and then snapshots of what she has been up to. Also, we get valuable development moments as well when the staff have noticed she is working towards a new skill. They have a rotating varied menu which my daughter always seems to eat a lot of! I have no concerns about her coming home hungry.
The reception staff are also great, easy to get hold of and prompt with emails.
Would recommend this nursery to any parent.
We have two sons at Little Oaks Nursery, one is four and one is one. My eldest has loved his time at nursery over the last three years and my littlest has settled in really well and also enjoys it. I know that we made the right choice in choosing a nursery, the staff are great and the children have such a great time while they are there. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery.
Both of my children have either been at this nursery or currently at nursery. My son that is now in primary school has fond memories of nursery. My daughter is in the 0-2 room and is due to move up to 2-3 room. My daughter really loves nursery and looks forward to going in a morning. The nursery staff appear to be very attentive to my daughter. They provide feedback on how her day has been and what activities she has been doing. My daughter loves playing with water and she loves the other babies in the room. Overall I would recommend this nursery.
Little Oaks have such a lovely, warm and welcoming staff. They engage very well with both children and parents which makes it more professional and well-communicated and put everyone in-centered care.
My daughter enjoys going to the nursery to see her friends and lovely teachers.
Will definitely recommend it!
My daughter started at Little Oaks in November 2020 and over the year she has gained confidence and social skills, that she missed out on being a lockdown baby. During this time we have had a diagnosis of coeliac disease and the staff have been amazing. They have adapted their play so that it was suitable and the catering has been great, making sure that she doesn't miss out. Sometimes I have to drag her out the gates at the end of the day, she just loves it and has too much fun!
Our little one started attending this nursery when she was six months old. We were very impressed with the staff, facilities in general and outdoor areas. They have an app that enables to share photos and information about the activities that the child takes part in throughout the day, on a daily basis, which is very reassuring. We visited many nurseries in North Leeds (Ofsted Outstanding and Good) and, in our opinion, this one was by far the best.
Little Oaks is a wonderful nursery, both my children have attended and the level of care provided in my opinion is outstanding. My eldest child has allergies and the nursery were extremely careful to ensure she was kept safe. My daughter's confidence came on in leaps and bounds in the pre-school room and she was well prepared for school. The staff are friendly and approachable and always ready to answer any questions. I highly recommend this nursery.
Little Oaks Nursery is a fully inclusive and nurturing environment for children. My daughter has attended since she was 9 months old and is now in pre-school. She has a diagnosis of Down's Syndrome but staff have gone above and beyond to ensure she can access all the activities with her peers and have fantastic and realistic aspirations for her, evidenced in her progress and her wonderful relationships with staff. Every nursery day is thoroughly enjoyed by her and communication between staff and home has been excellent. I couldn't give a higher recommendation.
