Children's Corner (Headingley)

Our child has been here for three years now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are welcoming and very attentive. We love the fact they update you throughout the day of what activities our child is doing. We can’t really say anything bad about nursery as I genuinely feel that the staff really do take the time to support our child’s needs and development. The only thing I wish would change that on drop off and pick is that we could go into nursery as sometimes you may be having a private conversation and other parents can hear and you feel a little rushed and don’t always get to say what you want to ask as there are parents waiting behind you.

We’ve had our son at Children's Corner (Headingley) Day Nursery since he was 8-months-old. From our first visit to now (he’s 3 and a half!) we’ve been so impressed by the care and environment of the nursery. The nursery is split into two open-plan rooms with quiet corners, play areas and loads of equipment and toys to keep the children busy and entertained all day. From the nursery practitioner in the under 2’s room to the nursery practitioner, nursery assistant and apprentice in the big room, our son has had the very best care and nurturing. The staff always show understanding of different children's needs and care about the relationships they build. We get regular updates and observations on our son's activities and learning through the app which is great to keep us informed of his progress. The nursery manager always has time to sit down and chat about any changes to needs or concerns and deals with everything so professionally. We plan to keep our son there right up until starting school!

Happiest experiences for my little one at Children’s Corner Headingley Nursery. The staff are very approachable and caring, which makes creating relationships with them easy and the settling in process much easier!

The nursery is fantastic! They really encourage our daughter to be herself. She learns so much with then and loves being there.

My children love this nursery, they always come home smiling and when it’s time to leave they still want to hang around the grounds! The staff are brilliant and they know all the children so well. Whenever I read a comment or they tell me about my kids I can imagine them doing those things! It is such a relief to be able to drop my children off where I know they are being taken care of and have such a wonderful time. Thanks Children’s Corner Headingley!
