Il Nido Private Day Nursery

An absolutely amazing nursery! From the very beginning, the staff have felt like family. Every day it feels like I'm dropping my boys off with people who genuinely care about them and their happiness. The love, support, and attention they give to every child is truly special.

They always go the extra mile with the little extra touches that make such a big difference, and it gives me complete peace of mind knowing my boys are safe, happy, and well looked after. I honestly couldn't ask for a better nursery - highly recommended!

Before we put my son in any nursery, we had a secret plan that if he didn't feel comfortable staying and still cried at drop-offs after one month, we would look for another one for him. But he started running in after about 3 weeks!! He genuinely loves going to nursery and looks forward to going even after he's just been picked up. The staff are very kind people that loves and care for your child the way you will. You will not know who the owner is, as she doesn't sit behind the computer and call the shots. She is very hands-on and extremely helpful. I will recommend this nursery every time. It's small, which means every child is looked after accordingly, and no kids get left out.

My son has been attending this nursery since Jan 2025 and has absolutely loved it from day 1! The staff are so friendly and welcoming to all parents and children. My son loves all the staff here and especially his keyworker Ellie. When he first started here, he was shy and struggling with his speech, the staff quickly picked up on this and have really done an amazing job supporting him and its wonderful to watch him thrive socially and academically and he is now starting to speak full sentences, I cannot thank this nursery enough for all they've done to support my son over the past year. If you're thinking of sending your children here, I would highly recommend, you will not be disappointed :)

My son has been attending for nearly 2 years and has spent time both in the baby and toddler room. All the staff are amazing, caring and work with parents to ensure the child settles in. My child is happy and has made lots of friends. Lovely family feel to the nursery with lots of activities to support their development. I tried several nurseries before this setting and Il Nido has surpassed my expectations!

A small and very friendly nursery. The staff are fantastic, they are really approachable and friendly. My kids love going and you can see the fantastic progress they make there. You get regular feedback on your child's progress and things you might want to look out for or encourage when you are at home.

Overall this nursery is 10/10 and i would strongly recommend to anyone.

My little boy has attended this nursery since he was 10 months old. From the very start all staff have been amazing! They have advised and reassured me every step of the way. They go above and beyond. Very informative and nothing is ever too much.

My little boy has formed very strong relationships with every member of staff. And has really thrived here.

Will be sad to leave come September as he will be going to school. (Don't know who will miss it more me or him!)

My little one has attended Il Nido nursery since he was 8 months old and he has loved it since day one. He actually gets upset when I collect him at home time!

The staff are warm and friendly and form such close bonds with the children - he adores his key workers. He is thriving and has reached so many milestones in advance due to the care and attention given by all staff.

What I liked most upon my visit was that because it is small it has a wonderful family atmosphere. Additionally, I saw staff in the playground teaching gross motor skills such as skipping, hopping and jumping. (As a teacher it was a big tick for me!)

They provide a variety of healthy food and snacks and Would recommend Il Nido to anyone.

This nursery is absolutely wonderful in all regards. The staff are brilliant with the children and form such close bonds that both my kids would speak about them every night and still miss them to this day. It's very clean and hygienic and you can tell how much pride they take in this nursery. My oldest struggled with her speaking and within weeks she was forming sentences and brought my son out of his shell and he is now confident and sociable. The owner is a fantastic lady that is always the first to offer any help and I recommend this nursery whenever I get the chance. I am forever grateful to Il Nido and my children and myself miss them after leaving in September.

My child has been going there since 8 months old. This a small nursery with a very strong family feeling. The staff are competent, and passionate and create a very strong bond with the children. This is the nursery's strongest point. My child was keen to go every single day!

My daughter has been attending Il Nido since she was 2 years old. I am extremely pleased with all the care that the whole Il Nido team takes. The team also works with the parents if the child needs help, which for me, was very important. My daughter is the only child I know who cries leaving nursery at the end of the day. The time has come for my daughter to leave nursery, and she is fully prepared and ready to start school thanks to all the preparation and care of the team. I highly recommend this nursery.

My child has loved every minute of being at II Nidos Private Nursery forming a special bond with the staff from being in the baby room right through to the preschool room. He has made some special friendships with other children and we couldn't have been happier with his development through his time at nursery. My child loves the homemade meals which are made daily with fresh products.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old. She absolutely loves attending nursery and looks forward to going every day. The staff have remained the same throughout, very experienced and loyal. The staff are always friendly and supportive they make us feel welcome every time we drop/pick our daughter up. If we have any more children we will definitely be using this nursery and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Amazing little setting for young children. Our little boy attended from 1 year old and loved his time in the baby room. He has recently moved to a preschool near his sister's big school, however, this was a decision only made due to logistics. All the staff have been so caring, especially his key worker who he bonded with so well. This place really is like a little home from home, it's small enough for the children not to feel too overwhelmed when they are still tiny, however, it's great as the babies get to explore the preschool rooms as they get a bit older and integrate with the other children. The nursery does some lovely little things, for example, having Santa's Grotto for the children and giving them a book on their birthdays. Overall we have been really impressed with the nursery and our son will really miss the staff. Thanks for everything you have done for our little boy. Would highly recommend it.

If I should have any more children, this will be the only nursery I’ll choose. It’s fantastic.

Highly recommend if you want a small nursery with lots of one to one and development/learning. All my kids have thrived in this place and they value you and your children.

Lovely nursery, very caring and nurturing. My daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and through the covid pandemic, where she was soon potty trained by the staff. I've never had any issues at all, my daughter loved going and was very fond of all of the staff. Il Nido has set my daughter up for school as she will soon be 5. I look forward to sending her sister there next month.

Would highly recommend this nursery. I found it to be a real home from home with experienced friendly staff who always took time to talk to me and provide updates on what was happening with my daughter. The space is private, safe, clean and well equipped. On her first day, my daughter walked in and never looked back!

Both of my girls now aged 14 months and 28 months both attended Il Nido from being only 4 months old. From the minute I walked into the nursery, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for the staff are all so friendly and have all worked there for a long period of time. There is such a home from home atmosphere which is what I wanted for my girls as they were both young when they started. The girls both love attending nursery and can't wait to get in. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for childcare, nothing but praise for this lovely nursery.

What we first fell in love with was the bijou baby room - perfectly sized for 6 babies to feel secure and cared for. Then, when we met the nursery staff, everyone wore a smile and open arms. The nursery staff seem to enjoy it here too, with many years at Il Nido under their belt. This place just 'felt' right from the moment we stepped inside. We felt happy knowing our 9 month old (now almost 2) would be given the attention and love we gave her ourselves. Since then, our daughter has spent many happy days playing, learning, sharing, socialising, sleeping and eating at Il Nido.

Fantastic nursery. Staff are very friendly.Our son attends Il Nido and I would highly recommend them based on their care, safety and overall approach. The Il Nido team are very friendly, approachable and most of all happy. They are organised, experienced and the children's play spaces are relaxed, intimate, clean and modern. The food and kitchen are of a high standard too, all fresh, home-cooked meals.

The outdoor space is private, safe and protected, also away from noisy traffic and passers-by. This is a huge tick for a small nursery!

Also, team members are very helpful if you are experiencing the usual parenting challenges and give constructive advice.
