My daughter has been attending St Joseph's for just over a year now since she was 19 months old. She absolutely loves it and has come on so much in every aspect from her social skills to her academic progress. She is excited to go on the mornings she attends and is always excited to tell us about her
day at pick-up time. She tells us about what she has done and the names of the friends she has made, and comes home with beautiful things she has made! The staff are lovely & very informative and helpful with any queries. Highly recommend it for any little ones.

Very pleased with all the staff from the nursery, they are all very kind and nice and my little girl is very well looked after.
I know it must not be easy to look and try to communicate with a child who doesn't speak English, but since my little one started attending St. Joseph's Nursery in October
2023 she now understands English and speaks a little, mixing languages at the moment, but she is just 2 years and 7 months.
We are very happy so far and we definitely recommend this nursery to everybody we know.

Both my girls have attended St Joseph's and I honestly can not thank them enough. It's a lovely nursery and both my girls loved attending my oldest is now 10 years old and remembers her memories all them years ago there my youngest has just left. We've made such special bonds with staff and both girls
will miss the nursery and the staff so much. Highly recommended!

My child has been going since he was 9 months old and has been in both the baby and toddler room. The staff seem to care a lot about him and he seems to have a lovely time. He does a big mix of activities. I've never had any issues. The prices seem much better value than some other establishments in
the borough. I want to keep my boy here until school age and will be sending my next child too.

My daughter has been going to St Joseph's since she was 9 months and she absolutely loves it there. She's always smiling and happy to go in each day and never wants to come home. They have been helping her a lot to reach certain milestones and have been aiding in her development. It seems like each
week she comes home with a new word or able to count higher in numbers. Each day we are given an account of her day (what she ate, how she did, etc. and very good with safegaurding and letting us know is she has a bump or scratch from the days play) and there are parents days so we can see how she has been doing overall. Lots of activities and toys for the kids to play with and the food provided is great quality and variety. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Highly recommend this daycare. After my daughter got poorly and had to be hospitalised for a few months, St Joseph's kept in touch and supported us as a family. They kept her place held for when she was able to return and let you know that they were available for any extra needs she may have needed
with her disability. The staff are amazing and even gave her a card and a present from her classmates while she was recovering at home. I can't recommend this daycare anymore. Her language skills and learning have really come alone since joining.

Current Review Score: 9.0 (8.975)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.0 (8.975) out of 10 for St Joseph's Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for St Joseph's Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (72 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.975 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for St Joseph's Nursery is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 number of registered child places is 16. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 16 = 0.375
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
