Kids Planet Nook Barn

We've had such a lovely experience with Nook Barn Nursery and couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives. The staff are so warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in every child, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Our daughter is due to start school in September, and since being supported by Lauren, we've seen a massive difference in her confidence, communication, and overall development. It's been amazing to watch her grow.

The activities are always engaging and well thought out, and communication with parents is excellent, keeping us fully updated and reassured.

We're so grateful to the team at Nook Barn Nursery and would highly recommend them to any parent.

My daughter has attended Kids Planet Nookbarn since August 2022, she is now preparing to start school in September 2026.

She is settled in the preschool room, her communication and core skills have developed alongside her confidence. She is happy at nursery, I feel reassured knowing this whilst working.

Practitioners and management are supportive and approachable, updates are provided regularly and you can access ongoing information from the app.

Since my daughter Sylvie started at Nook Barn, she has thrived in her development. Her key worker, Jess, has had such a positive impact on Sylvie as Sylvie took a liking to her early on. Sylvie is naturally on the shy side and prefers to stick with her adult and so Jess has worked so hard in bringing her out of her shell and we as parents can see how much she has grown in confidence. Her crawling came along quickly and now we are working hard towards mastering walking. Nook Barn provide brilliant activities for the babies, that cater to their interests and aid their development. We are also blown away by how wonderful the food is. So much so that Sylvie always wants extra portions. We look forward to seeing Sylvie blossom even more as she continues on her Nook Barn journey.

Nook barn has really been amazing for my little boy helping him so much. They are helping him start to sit in group time and helping him improve his speech. Me and my son love the little take home task they give every month and also my Nan gives the staff biscuits every Thursday for a treat for how amazing the staff really are.

My son has been attending Nookbarn for nearly three years now. He started in the baby room and is now in preschool, and we've had a consistently positive experience throughout.

The manager is fantastic she is always approachable, and any questions I have are answered quickly and thoroughly and always ready to help straight away.

All of the staff are incredibly welcoming and caring, and my son truly loves every one of them. They have supported both him and me through every milestone, and I feel so reassured knowing he is in such good hands.

Nursery has always been helpful for me and my child. If I've ever been late, they've been so understanding and accommodated this. My child has come on leaps and bounds and I do believe nursery has contributed to this. He is so ready for school and that is due to the dedication of staff and the time they put into your child's learning

Nook Barn is a fabulous nursery with staff who genuinely care for your child's happiness and wellbeing. My daughter started at the nursery in November 2025, she settled into her new routine very quickly and her development in confidence, speech and play has been amazing. It's brought me great peace of mind knowing how content my daughter is and how well she is being cared for whilst I work. I would very much recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

We have been with Nook Barn for 2 years now, our son is in Pre school ready to go to school in September and our daughter is in babies. We love the warmth, care and friendly nature. The key workers support and go above and beyond. The management are kind, supportive and no question is too big or small. You feel they care about each and every family and are proud to be on your childrens journey.

My little boy joined the toddler room in October 2025. He has thrived since joining Nook Barn, his confidence and his speaking developed rapidly from the moment he started and continues to do so each day. He often tells me how he loves the staff (especially Faz and Mia) and is always excited to come in to nursery. All of my expectations are met and sometimes exceeded. The setting itself is stunning and has a lovely outdoor area which is used very often which is fantastic as my boy loves the outdoors. The parent partnership is excellent, I feel very involved with the nurseries community and in the know about how my child's day has been through both the Famly app and handovers. I feel a strong sense of teamwork between me and the toddler room staff towards my child's developmental needs, they have given me lots of help and advice surrounding potty training and some behavioural issues that come with having a toddler. I am very happy with my choice of nursery for my little boy.

My grandson is so happy at Kids Planet Nook Barn. The staff are warm, kind and genuinely care for each child, which puts me completely at ease. The nursery has such a lovely, homely atmosphere with plenty of fun and learning opportunities indoors and outdoors. It's wonderful to see how much he enjoys going every day - I couldn't recommend it more highly

My children absolutely LOVE the staff. They light up when they go! One of my children goes to babies he's 10month old now and my other child goes to toddlers she's nearly 32months old. The communication from the staff has been brilliant, I love how much they involve the children and utilize the app really well. I know where my children are up to in there development stages and what they need to work towards. They take them outside for walks, they have several activities planned and free play. They have progressed so much being there. They generally are a fantastic team! Very happy parents.

Recently me and mum have been in NICU with their little sister so it put our mind at ease when we would get updates throughout the day seeing our boys were being well looked after.

I couldn't ask for a better place for my son to start his learning journey in.

Nookbarn is a fantastic nursery with the most amazing, loving and welcoming staff. My son struggled to settle the first month or so but the staff worked really hard to boost his confidence and show him that nursery is a fun place to be! The staff are so attentive and caring towards the children and really cater for every individual childs needs. The staff work really hard and anyone can tell the staff at Nookbarn enjoy working with the children.

I cannot say enough good things about this lovely place. My little girl is in the toddler room and I can honestly say the way these girls look after her is second to none! Her speech has come on so much, she can count and they basically even potty trained her with their amazing encouragement! But most of all I can tell they love her. She will often come home with gorgeous French plaits and they foster all of her interests (mainly Elsa). She will be moving up to pre school soon and we will both miss the toddler room and two staff members in particular.

Polite and friendly, staff keep you updated etc. when picking up and dropping off children. Nothing too much trouble, and a calm relaxing atmosphere in the nursery but structured for children's needs and well-being.

Before my daughter started nursery in January I was quite daunted by the whole process but as soon as we went for her first taster session I knew instantly that we had made the right choice with Kids Planet Nook Barn. The staff were so welcoming and reassuring. Eight months on and my daughter is still enjoying her time there and has formed a lovely bond with her key workers and has made lots of friends. The activities and learning all seem very varied and I love that they have a lovely outdoor space for children to play and explore. There is a relaxed, organic feel to the nursery as well as being clean and safe.

My son has been at this nursery since 6 months old and they have been nothing but phenomenal with him! All staff from the baby room, toddlers and now pre-school have helped him develop so much. Both his physical and emotional development are now 'Above average' which is thanks to Nook Barn and all of its staff. Nook Barn always have new and exciting activities on offer keeping my son and all of the children included and building great relationships. It is a fantastic nursery and there is nowhere else I would imagine taking him to.

Beautiful setting, both my little boys go here and they absolutely love it, they're always doing such brilliant activities with them and always keep me updated throughout the day on the app. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, I would highly recommend this setting.
