Rainbow Day Nursery

If you're looking for a nurturing environment for your little one, I can't recommend this nursery highly enough! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about each child, making it clear that they prioritise both safety and emotional well-being.

The facilities are top-notch, providing plenty of space for kids to explore and play. There's a fantastic seasonal food menu that showcases healthy options, ensuring the children are nourished with delicious meals throughout the year.

Rainbow has a sense of community and support, and I'm so grateful we chose this place for our daughters. Every day, our toddler comes home with new songs and dances.

Our son has had a fantastic experience with Rainbows! They have helped him develop in confidence and he really enjoys attending! The nursery provides a variety of activities, foods and visits whilst also maintaining a familiar structure for him! He has recently become a big brother and the nursery have been brilliant in helping manage this transition, giving us flexibility as a family and support when our son attends! The management are really helpful if there are ever any queries or changes to our circumstances! Can't recommend them enough!

Our daughter started at Rainbow when she was 2 and a half having had to move unexpectedly quickly from a different nursery setting. We were worried about how this change might affect her, but our daughter immediately took to rainbow and settled in really well.the following year our son started in the baby room at just 9 months old. We were so impressed by the skilled and individualised care he was given and he quickly started to bond with his key workers (who he still talks about now even though he's moved up a class! Last year it was announced that a new management team and a number of changes were going to be implemented at Rainbow, which we were initially hesitant about, but the new management team have proved themselves to be incredibly caring, professional and devoted to making rainbow the best place for the kids. We always know our kids are safe, well cared for and happy there and we couldn't ask for more.

My son has been at Rainbow since he was two, and I love how well the different rooms have taken care of him. He always looks forward to his days at preschool and loves talking about the staff and his friends. Couldn’t think of a better place for him to be. I fully trust the manager and her team with him.

My daughter attended this nursery before going to school, and they went above and beyond. Staff are very professional and meet the care needs of my child. Her development came on leaps and bounds, with so many amazing opportunities within the nursery and wider area with trips and outings. The meals are healthy, the nursery is clean and lots of learning opportunities with varied resources. I was updated each day on what my child ate, nappies/toileting and activities. Management is approachable and supportive. Rainbow is like a home from home!

I was nervous about sending my little boy to nursery, but the staff at Rainbow Day Nursery went above and beyond to help him settle in. He has been there for around a year now and you can see how much he has developed, how his confidence has grown, and how much he loves the practitioners and all the activities they do together. I would definitely recommend Rainbow Day Nursery to other parents.

Very welcoming nursery. Staff really care about my child; they have a great relationship with him and enjoy my little one's character. Very on board with his dietary needs. Feel reassured when working and they are caring for my child.

This nursery is fantastic! My little boy has been going here for 3 years and only having to come away due to a house move. From the activities with the children to how friendly and welcoming all of the staff are and the amount of updates you get it really is a great place to send your child. Whether it’s one of the cooks or the manager of the nursery there really is no job too much for any of them. The team put so much effort into ensuring your child is happy and busy that all my boy talks about is how he can’t wait to go back the next day. If we could afford to continue doing the 40 mile round trip to this nursery every day I would do as no other nursery I feel will ever live up to this one. Keep doing what you're doing because there is nothing I would change. This place has transformed my little boys character and we are so sad to be having to leave.

We have put three children through this nursery, our children adored their time here and the staff. We cannot fault this nursery, we would (and have done previously) highly recommend Rainbow Day Nursery, Lymm.

We are lucky to have chosen such a wonderful nursery for our daughter who is in the baby room. She loves her nursery, her friends and her carers. You can see it in her face when we go pick her up that she’s had a fabulous, fun-filled day! Her confidence, her newfound chatter, her walking/running etc - many of her skills were helped by the nursery. My daughter is exposed to all types of creative sessions, world celebrations, weekly football lessons and interesting visits eg zoo, which are well thought out and safely planned.

The carers listen to the parents and help where they can. They are very attentive and caring. I get a summary of my daughter’s day when I pick her up where they would share any funny stories, new developments or any issues. The communication is excellent.

We are looking forward to a few more years there.

All of our children have gone to Rainbow Day Nursery and each of them has been extremely happy there. The staff are fantastic; they make every child feel special and teach the right values in a very inclusive and supportive environment. Our children have always been very content to be dropped off at nursery every morning and as a parent, I have never worried about leaving them as it is such a welcoming, safe and clean place. The resources that the nursery has available and the range of activities that children can take part in on a daily basis is brilliant: from sports to painting to construction to reading, phonics and maths - they are so diverse. Communication with parents is also very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rainbow Day Nursery to other parents.

I would not hesitate to recommend Rainbow as an outstanding Early Years childcare provider. It is a lovely family run business, with fantastic staff. Our 3-year-old twins currently attend and they really love going. My eldest daughter who is now in school also enjoyed attending and was sad to leave. The staff are super attentive, kind and caring, providing great learning and development opportunities and activities for our children. Rainbow has been incredibly flexible providing last-minute childcare arrangements (when grandparents have not been able to help) for which we are hugely grateful. The nursery regularly sends updates about our children's development via the Tapestry App which is really special to see when we are in work, and they also provide extras such as Diddikicks football, cooking activities, visits from the local Fire Brigade etc for the children, as well as seasonable celebrations for the children and parents which are greatly appreciated.

My youngest has just started school and so after 6 very happy and fun filled years, my working day no longer starts with a drop off at Rainbow Day Nursery. Both my kids loved it at Rainbow and happily bounced into nursery each day to make numerous arts and crafts creations, play, read, dance and sing with their friends. The staff are loving and caring and work was made a little bit easier, safe in the knowledge that both my children were in the best nursery environment and were happy and excited to be there.

A sad day for us leaving this fantastic nursery and off to school. Rainbow Day Nursery has taken great care of our son for 2 amazing years. He had a great time, ran into nursery every morning with excitement and was extremely happy there. The staff are exceptionally caring and attentive, the nursery itself is well organised, clean, and with lots of space, especially outside. We truly feel that Rainbow Day Nursery has set our son up for success in his next steps. Many thanks for all your hard work and dedication.
