Lynton Private Day Nursery

I have had two children attend Lynton Private Day Nursery over the years, including present. I have found the nursery to be a small and homely place where I feel all staff know my children and myself. Although it's set out of the way it really is a hidden gem, with plenty of outdoor space for the children to explore and investigate and the views beyond are amazing. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well as fantastic at what they do. The activities that my children have come home and said they have taken part in and seeing the photographs and observations of the activities proves to be a real variety, which seems to follow the children's interests. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone, my children always come home happy, well-fed, they rave about the food and excited to tell me about their day.

My little boy has been at Lynton Private Day Nursery since his was six months old, he is now three years old and in the preschool room. The team at Lynton Private Day Nursery have always made me feel so reassured when leaving him and I felt happy in the knowledge he was safe and cared for. My son has always thrived and developed whilst going to nursery, particularly loving the outdoor area to play with his friends. The entire team provide such a homely and lovely setting for the children and they genuinely care. I would not hesitate to recommend Lynton Private Day Nursery, they all do an amazing job!

We have had an excellent experience of Lynton and their response to the pandemic has been outstanding. My daughter is 3 and loves going to Lynton where she is blissfully unaware of the current restrictions as they have created such a safe space for children to play and express themselves. What we love most is how responsive the nursery staff are to the children and their current interests, really adapting the play activities around the child. We have recently recommended the nursery to friends who have sent their 2 children and are extremely pleased with the provision.

This nursery is so unique, the staff really do go above and beyond. It’s definitely like a home from home feel at the nursery. The staff know all the children because it’s small and that brings a real warm and nurturing feel. The food is amazing, I will never beat it. The children are able to explore the lovely garden which is inviting and exciting. My little girl who is now 4 went and my little boy has just started. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Thanks for all your hard work.

Also, we use cloth nappies and the nursery has fully supported that without question. So they are environmentally responsible too!
