Overall Experience
We recently moved to Billericay with our 18-month-old and changing his nursery was daunting but it has honestly been the best decision we have made. In such a short amount of time, we have been blown away and as a family, we are incredibly happy with the quality of care, education, and overall experience. The staff are friendly, warm and approachable which is the most important thing when entrusting someone with your child's care.

Monkey Puzzle does an excellent job of keeping parents informed, helping us stay connected to our little one's learning journey. As a first-time parent, I get comfort from the regular updates and photos throughout the day. I also love how the staff involve us, for example, in the Christmas festivities (even on days our son is not at nursery).

We are also very impressed with the range of meals provided and the variety of daily activities (both fun and educational). The nursery itself is clean, safe and well-organised. We couldn't recommend Monkey Puzzle enough!

High legh pre school has been my daughter's nursery since she was 9 months old and it has been one of the best decisions I made. All of the staff are so lovely, friendly and I think of it as more of a home from home for my daughter. My daughter has always loved going, and have genuinely been so happy there. I can't thank the staff enough for everything they have done for my daughter in the 4 years she attended, her social skills and academic skills have also come on incredibly. It also meant a smooth transition for her to primary school. Thank you so much High Legh Pre School for everything!

Lovely small community preschool and nursery. My daughter grew so close to all the staff and children in her time there, and it's been monumental in her transition to primary school.

High Legh Preschool has given her confidence and more independence, whilst maintaining a "homely" caring attitude. She loved all the activities and the outside space is fantastic. We both look back on her time there with such lovely memories.

Both my children currently attend the nursery. We love the small cosy feel the nursery has, and the staff are very attentive and hardworking and get to know the children to build up a great relationship. We like the link between the school and the community presence within the village. The additional and various activities are undertaken, home-cooked meals and outdoor area are fab for the children! Highly recommend!

Overall Experience

I have 2 children within the nursery, one currently in the baby room and one in the toddler room and they have both attended High Legh Pre-school Nursery since they were 8 months old. The small, home from home approach is what we love about the nursery, it's cosy and there are lots of different activities that the children undertake in from painting to making biscuits, dance and pe classes. There are lots of different toys for them to play with and let their imagination run wild. There is a huge outdoor area which is great for the children and a park the children use which is close by. For us, we like the fact that High Legh Pre-school Nursery is committee led, meaning it is independent, not like a big chain nursery and all the staff are extremely friendly and make good relationships with the children. A nursery we would definitely recommend!
