Montessori by Busy Bees Alderley Day Nursery has been lovingly purpose-built to suit the care and education of early years children, in happy and secure surroundings and is staffed by a highly qualified team trained to maximise the potential of each child.

Originally registered for 62 children, the nursery has been refurbished and extended in 2018, now offering 94 places for children between the ages of 0-5 years. The team focuses on the benefits of both indoor and outdoor learning, facilitating an appreciation of the natural world as well as language and mathematical understanding.

The nursery's mission incorporates a requirement for the highest standards, with this in mind Montessori's philosophy to learning is embedded (research continues to confirm it's superiority over other methods of learning), a qualified chef is employed to freshly prepare an organic menu each day and a fully qualified childcare team is retained.

  • There is a non-refundable Registration Fee payable to secure your place of £100
    £50 of this fee will be credited to the first invoice issued to you following your child’s start date.
    Fees are based on 52 weeks per year, paid monthly in advance
    We ask our families to book a minimum of 2 full days or 4 half days per week, as this enables
    stronger continuity and greater experiences for your child.

    No refunds will be given for sickness or holidays.

I have 2 children at this nursery, both are thriving and really enjoy the time they spend there. The grounds and outside space are incredible and the staff really care for them both. Management are approachable and make every effort to listen and assist when needed. We love it here

Our child has been here since Jan 2025 and absolutely loves it - his excitement when we drive into the entrance says it all!
The staff are superb and show real care for the children and their development. He's made amazing progress both personally and socially, which is definitely down to his experience
here.

My child has been here for about nine months and she absolutely loves it. The environment and the surrounding fields are so calm and provide a lot of exploring space. Since joining this nursery she has become more confident in communication, play and verbally which is credit to the fantastic staff making
her feel so happy and relaxed there.
The director of this nursery has great visions and I've seen the place evolve in the nine months and can see it improving week by week.

We started in April and have had a really positive experience so far. The staff in our room have been at the nursery for a long time and have been really supportive in our transition from maternity leave. The information and pics on the app are great but the handovers in the morning and evening show
how much care and attention is taken for each individual child. It 100% makes it much easier when your little one is happy to go to the staff that they see regularly. Being purpose-built, every room has access to an outside area so they don't have to work to slots and outside time isn't just restricted to nice days. They literally do in a day what I could do in a week the amount of activities they do! Couldn't recommend this place more!

My name is Silvia Chalaris, and I am the Centre Director at Alderley Montessori. Originally from Madrid, my professional journey commenced as a qualified primary education teacher however once I set foot in Early Years, I knew it was where I belonged. I love how each day can bring different learning opportunities, the magical environments, and the awe and wonder that it involves.


At Alderley, we are passionate about alternative, holistic, and child-led pedagogies—like Montessori—and hold a belief that children flourish when they are listened to and respected.
