Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield

We have only ever had fabulous things to say about the staff at Cherubs. They go above and beyond and work with you on any worries or queries you may have. They are patient with even the most emotional parent (talking from personal experiences). The staff are always friendly and always tell you about your child's day. They take the time to listen and get to know your child-which I think is so important. They accept that not all children have the same needs and they work with you to help that child. I recently attended the stay and play with my oldest daughter and we both really enjoyed seeing our little one enjoying her surroundings and friends. The staff are hands on.

My children have attended Cherubs since September 2024 and it was the best decision we made for them.

Their development and their confidence have continued to grow from the moment they started. This year they moved from the toddler room to the pre-school room and, wow, my babies are no longer babies! They are definitely developing skills to prepare them for school and hopefully a long love of learning.

Some of the experiences from singing in church, to visiting a care home, to putting on an art exhibition have been something that have really been cherished by us as a family.

This being said, the best thing to come out of my children going to Cherubs has to be the relationships! The bonds that they have with staff are amazing. And that is from cleaning staff, to supports staff, to management. There is a real family feel when you walk in and it is easy to leave your children with people you know care so much. Thank you!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone as they have such a kind, welcoming and smiley staff! You do a great job to all of you be proud of yourselves. Thank you for looking after my daughter very well.

Our little boy is a little behind on his communication, we explained our concerns to his keyworker. She observed him for the first few months and then had a meeting with us with a plan to help him with his speech moving forwards and we have to say, his speech is really coming on. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff that work in pre-school, they are all a credit to the Sutton team. My little boy is obsessed with all of you. He always tries to guess who's going to be in the morning. He goes to school in September, and I know he's going to be extremely sad to leave. He loves you all. I definitely recommend Cherubs in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

My daughter has attended the setting for the last 3 years. Cherubs have played an integral part in her early learning journey to prepare her for her next adventure into the primary school setting. The staff are warm and welcoming, very approachable with any issues or niggles that I've had regarding my daughter's care and learning. The reason I say this is because your children are the most important thing in the whole world, you dedicate your life to these tiny humans and this is recognised by the love and input that the staff provide within their care and giving the children opportunities to learn and express themselves through play. All parents have issues they come across, maybe something so small they feel niggles away at them but this is acknowledged and dealt with by management and staff to ensure you are happy and settled as nursery fees continue to rise, which I feel is reflected in the provision and activities that are offered to ALL children. Our child's development has progressed very well under the guidance of Cherubs staff.

Any issues or queries we had regarding him or in general got dealt with straight away.

There is a good range of learning experiences and my child has loved their time at Cherubs.

I can't thank you all enough for bringing out the best in my shy little boy who started in Snowdrops. He will miss you all dearly.

We're always asking how their day at nursery was and they tell us who they played with or what they played, we even get told who their friends are as well as which member of staff is that day's "best friend" which is always lovely to hear as well as hearing from staff about how our kids have been and how helpful they were.

We love Cherubs Sutton-in-Ash. Our girls love it and has really helped develop them and has shaped them into the gorgeous, funny and clever girls they are.

Brilliant nursery, my child has been here since he was 9 months old. He has enjoyed every stage and learned so much! All the staff have been amazing!

I have only good things to say regarding the nursery, they look after both our children really well and it brought both of them out of their shells. Our son's speech has been helped as well and his confidence is now amazing. As for our youngest daughter, she learned to talk and walk and loves everyone as well as loved by everyone which couldn't make us happier.

My son really enjoys coming to Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and have taught my child so much during his time at Cherubs. The activities are stimulating and challenging, and there are extracurricular activities for the children to take part in. We get regular updates, including photos of our child's day, which gives us reassurance that he is settled and happy.

The staff are very attentive and always cater to my child's needs.

The staff are really friendly. My daughter has really come out of her shell since going and it's lovely to see. The meals are great and I love the updates online.

All the staff are really approachable and have the time to speak to you regarding everything to do with your child. My little boy was dairy-free (now grown out of it) but they always managed his diet with me and made meals to accommodate! I would always recommend this nursery to anyone with little ones!

I cannot say enough good things about this nursery. My little girl loves all the staff at Cherubs Sutton in Ashfield. She’s thrived there since starting at 9 months old, all the way through till starting school. They’ve been such a great support to my little girl and us! Through COVID, weaning, potty training and everything in between. I’m always surprised and amazed by the things she’s learnt at Cherubs Sutton. Thank you Cherubs Sutton - my little girl has grown so much and loved every minute with you.
