My child was unhappy and crying almost every day when dropping in, even after 4+ months there. When he moved to another nursery he was happy since the second day. Extremely poor management staff and constant inconsistencies in communication with staff.

I'd highly recommend the Old Rectory Day Nursery, I looked at a few when choosing somewhere for my daughter, and I 100% chose the right one, I feel comfortable leaving her there whilst I go to work, I'm kept up to date with whats going on, and the skills that she is learning is fantastic, she really
enjoys going to nursery and every member of staff has been very welcoming towards myself and my daughter. The food is cooked on site, all the toys both inside and out are kept very clean, and the level of security at this nursery is far better than I've seen elsewhere.

Our third child is currently attending the Old Rectory following in her 2 sibling’s footsteps. I only have positive comments about the nursery and their staff.
My oldest daughter who is 10 now still speaks to staff that were there when she attended, something that I think is rare in Nursery settings.

The facilities are fantastic with dedicated outside play areas for both the younger and older children.
The toys are always looked after and cleaned and the grounds are huge with a gated driveway.
Having looked at the other review on here I can’t believe that any of it is true.
The fees are very competitive and the Nursery has an outstanding Ofsted rating and it is fully deserved in my opinion.
Trips are a regular thing in the Nursery mini bus. They offer swimming lessons at a local pool as well.
All of my children have enjoyed attending the Old Rectory and it has set them in good stead for starting school.

We visited this nursery with our daughter to find a child wandering around alone, due to the gate being left open (twice). In the small room they had 18 children and only 3 adults. Upstairs they have a big light that has smashed, it has broken glass in the shade above playing children. We would not
feel safe leaving our child here.
