The Hunny Pot Day Nursery

This nursery is outstanding for many reasons. My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 1 year old and is now in the preschool. It is her second home. She absolutely loves being there and the small setting makes it a place where the children are attended to and well cared for. She absolutely loves the preschool and the new extension makes it a great learning space for the children who are getting ready for 'big school'. She always gets very upset when she finds out it is the weekend or school holidays and she isn't able to go. I have always felt that the staff including the management team are so caring and they pay attention to what my child needs and also give advice on even the smallest things e.g. if they notice she is not her usual lively self or that she needs to develop skills in certain areas. No question is silly and they are always patient and helpful. I'm glad we chose The Hunny Pot and would recommend to anyone to consider it as first choice.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed and reassured by the incredible staff. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for each child is unmatched. The team goes above and beyond to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children thrive both emotionally and academically. The staff take the time to know each child individually, tailoring activities to their needs. It's clear they genuinely love what they do, and it shows in the happy, confident faces of the children. Communication with parents is fantastic, with regular updates and photos of what the children are up to. I feel completely at ease knowing my child is in such capable, loving hands. The nursery is clean, well-organised, and full of engaging resources, but it's the staff who make it truly exceptional, Thank you for everything you do. If you're considering this nursery, don't hesitate. It's the best decision we've made for our children.

I've had a lovely experience since my son joined in August. They made the whole process of joining very smooth and comfortable. It can be a stressful time sending your child to nursery but they did everything to make me feel better. I get regular updates and love the snapshots they send. He loves nursery and has come on leaps and bounds. I don't have to worry about anything, I'm confident he's being looked after.

I don't have the words to express how good this nursery is. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting and they really do work with you and support you every step of the way. I am so glad I picked this nursery and if I had to go through this process again I would pick this nursery over and over again. All the staff here are so friendly and amazing but I have to give a shout-out to two staff members in particular here, they really have stopped me being a stress head when he has not been well and have been so reassuring and supportive.

Lovely holiday club, very reasonably priced. They do lots of great activities and my son really likes going there. On a main bus route so easy to get to. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great place to send your child.

Overall, the Hunny Pot Nursery team has provided a fantastic foundation for our child's early education. We are so grateful for their dedication and support.

Our daughter has been in this setting for 10 months now and genuinely loves her time there. She goes in every morning with a huge smile on her face and for me, that's all that matters, I know she is genuinely happy to be there and see the wonderful team who run the nursery. Sending her to the nursery at 9 months old I had some reservations but genuinely didn't need to, they looked after her in the same way I did and asked them to, even cuddled her to sleep if that's what it took on that particular day and kept us up to date throughout the day on the fantastic app! A real home-from-home setting that helps us in having a work-life balance with young children.

Both of my children are now at school, but I strongly believe that this nursery has given them a head start at school. They are both thriving and full of confidence. They now attend holiday club and love to return.

I can't recommend The Hunny Pot highly enough! My son has been attending since he was almost two, and the growth I've seen in him during his time in preschool has been incredible. The staff are nurturing, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's development. The staff create a warm and engaging environment that encourages exploration and learning. My son enjoys going to nursery every day, and it's clear he feels safe and happy at The Hunny Pot. There's always a variety of activities and the focus on social skills has helped him develop confidence and form friendships. The management team are always happy to help and support and are very approachable.

I recommend this nursery. They provide before and after school care for my daughter who has started primary school next door to the site. Staff are lovely and communication has been great with settling her in.

My little girl's been going to the nursery since she was 10 months old and has loved every minute, all the staff are friendly and look after your children just as you'd want someone to look after them when you're not around. Couldn't recommend enough!

My son comes to the holiday club here, the staff are simply wonderful - always happy to help. The facilities are clean and look safe which is what I'm looking for. My child always comes out with a cake he's made or pic.

The management are very approachable and they have been very helpful with my son's speech concerns and are happy to support me with getting him referred for speech therapy.

My daughter has attended The Hunny Pot nursery in Wigston, since she was 10 months old. The staff are brilliant, the app they use to keep you updated with information and pictures is fantastic and most importantly my daughter absolutely loves going! Happy daughter, happy mummy!

My daughter started this nursery in May this year, I was very worried about leaving her as she was so young, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about. She's just turned one and she's already walking, saying certain words and can follow simple instructions. My daughter is very forward for her age and I put it all down to the talented team at the nursery. Each day has planned activities so my daughters mind is constantly learning and active. The facilities at the nursery are amazing, very clean and well kept equipment. I also love the fact they have a secure app where I can log in and see how my daughter's day is going and leave comments if needed. If your thinking about sending your child here, do not hesitate, the team are amazing and they have become my daughter's second family.

All three of my children have attended The Hunny Pot - Wigston and they go above and beyond they have my eldest two in holiday clubs and after-school clubs! And they have become like family to my family! The kids have the best time and I trust them without a second thought! I couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do! I will genuinely be gutted when my children are too old to go! Thank you for everything all of you!

Brilliant care of multiple children that have attended. Update me on any accidents, mood changes, what activities have been on that day singing, dancing, reading, crafts etc. and how he's been with his friends etc. Very accommodating with any needs, great at making him feel welcome a home away from home. Out-of-school hours activities and clubs too!

My daughter started at the nursery at 4 and a half months after many recommendations from friends whose children already attended the nursery. My daughter loves going to nursery and has formed a special bond with the staff within the baby room, they are professional caring individuals who you can see love the children and have a real passion for the job. The management team are very approachable and will always take the time to listen to any problems you have. I go to work knowing that my daughter is in excellent hands and as a parent this paramount.
