Kids Planet Spondon

Since Daniel joined this nursery he has came on so much he's talking more expressing his emotions more I really love the staff as well his key workers if I have any questions they are always give me the right answers.

Kids Planet Spondon have been the most wonderful nursery for both of my children - the staff are always incredibly kind, patient and really take the time to understand the needs of the child. The activities and resources set up each day are amazing and both of my children really enjoy going to nursery!

I am very pleased with the care and support my daughter receives at the nursery. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in her development and wellbeing. She is always happy to attend and comes home excited to share what she has learned and experienced. I appreciate the variety of activities provided, which help build her confidence, social skills, and creativity. Communication with parents is clear and helpful, and I feel reassured knowing she is in a safe and nurturing environment. Thank you to the whole team for the dedication and care you show every day.

It is quite cosy but there is plenty to do and my son always comes home knackered, big win!

The nursery is a lovely and safe environment my granddaughter loves coming. I feel like its as brought her on so much. Thank you to all the staff who are very welcoming friendly and hard working.

Lots of activities set out for them to play with and my daughter is always talking about nursery at home.

Staff are lovely and attentive to my child's individual needs. They have got to know my child well and pick up quickly when she is upset or not herself that day. Staff are always friendly and professional when talking to myself and are knowledgeable about children's development when I have questions relating to my child. The setting is always clean, has appropriate activities, a variety of things tailored to the child's interests as well as varied foods to eat at snack and dinner.The safeguarding aspect is very thorough, if staff don't recognise someone picking up their child they will check with other staff, and phone myself to check I know and expected this person to be attending the nursery to collect my child. I am very happy with the nursery as a whole!

My daughter loves nursery and loves preschool. She's always excited and comes home tired so I know she's had a full and busy day. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They let me know how her day has been, what she's eaten etc. It's nice as a dad to be recognised as well, and not constantly questioned whether she's my kid.

My little girl first started here in May, since she started with this nursery her confidence has grown so much along with learning many new skills. The staff are lovely and always have time for any questions I may have and always give detailed handovers.

My son has been going to Kingfisher Day Nursery for a while now he absolutely loves it, he is always happy to go and the staff are amazing. Good communication, professional but also supportive which is great considering how the last year has been for little ones. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been coming to Kingfisher Day Nursery Derby Chapel Street since she was 9 months old, the nursery staff are so lovely and made me feel at ease too. My daughter has come on leaps and will be starting school in September and is so ready for it, the nursery I believe have given her the best start and got her completely ready for school.
