Our son started Shiny Stars when he was 9 months old. In the 3 years and 3 months that he has been there, I can't fault them at all. They have cared for, taught, helped and made sure he was safe like he was their own child. Nothing is ever too much for them and they all go above and beyond for the children they look after. I'm so happy that we chose Shiny Stars as everything they have done has brought our son on leaps and bounds and I'm gutted the time has come for him to leave for school. Thank you again for everything! You are all one in a million.

Shiny Stars Day Nursery in Trentham has been absolutely incredible with my daughter. It's such a lovely, caring and welcoming environment, with so many fun and engaging activities for the children. Since starting, we've seen our daughter really flourish and grow in confidence. My son has been attending this Nursery since he was 12 months old. He will be turning three soon and my second child has just started attending. All of the staff are warm, welcoming, friendly, professional and nurturing. The environment is homely, inviting and provision is always based on the children's interest at the time. All of the children that attend clearly adore the staff and the activities provided by Shiny Stars. We wouldn't go to any other nursery.

My child has been going to this nursery since he was a year old. Now we are in the process of looking at preschool and I have to say this scares me because Shiny Stars have set such a high standard for me that even private school preschool looks terrible compared to them. I cannot fault the staff and the facilities of the nursery - yes it’s only small but it’s a joy to walk inside. Nothing is bare or boring and they always have a theme and activities to do for the children. I am now struggling to find a preschool to compete with the nursery’s high standards as I want my child to enjoy it as much as he has enjoyed attending nursery.

I was recommended by a friend, and I am so pleased and proud to send my child to Shiny Stars. Every single member of staff has spent time building a strong rapport with my child, including when they moved into the older room. The range of activities and trips is fantastic and caters for a huge range of interests. The outside space is by far the best I’ve seen from any nursery and is well used all year round. The app is updated regularly, so I’m kept well informed throughout the day. Photos are often sent after a trip out, which definitely helps me get through a long working day. The manager is very supportive and has helped us out when we’ve struggled with childcare on non-nursery days due to illness and ensured my child is rear faced when travelling. The stay and play sessions have been a lovely touch too, and a chance to fully experience the nursery. I recommend Shiny Stars to all!

My daughter has attended this nursery from when she was 12-weeks-old; she’s now 2. She absolutely loves it there and loves the staff to bits! The staff are so friendly and so helpful, and you get a real home from home feel. She always seems to be doing something different and having plenty of time outside, which is great. Management is lovely too and so helpful. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

This is really great nursery where the children can develop and learn whilst having fun. Great relationships between staff and children are clear. The nursery is a fantastic environment that is well looked after and constantly being updated. Excellent communication between the nursery and parents, and all staff are always very supportive and really get to know each child in their care. Would highly recommend it; our daughter loves it.

Fantastic nursery with brilliant staff in all age groups. Comprehensive handover, so you’re up to speed every day, and nothing is ever too much to ask. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Shiny Stars to anyone.

My daughter has been going since she was 6-months-old and from the first day, she loved it. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The environment is clean, and the food is great. The staff have quickly got to know my daughter and engage with her well, encouraging her to progress.

Shiny Stars have been absolutely brilliant with both of my children. My youngest started his settling in visits recently and needed extra time to become familiar with the new routine; the nursery saw this and allowed him to have a few extra visits to make him feel more comfortable being there. I can’t fault them at all they have always gone the extra mile to make you and your child/children feel welcome.
