St Lawrence's Day Nursery

I honestly couldn't be happier with my children's experience at nursery and preschool. The staff are so kind, patient, and genuinely invested in the children - you can feel it the moment you walk through the door. They both settled in so quickly and absolutely thrive there; my eldest comes home every day chatting about what she's learned, who she's played with, and all the little activities they've done.

The communication is brilliant, the routines are consistent, and the environment is clean, safe, and full of thoughtful touches. They really see them as individuals, and that means everything. I'm so grateful for the confidence, independence, and happiness they've helped them grow.

I would recommend this nursery and preschool to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to shine.

Welcoming presence

We couldn't be happier with St Lawrence's nursery and our son loves going there. The staff have built lovely bonds with our son, they express genuine interest in him and he is always happy to see them. The monthly observations we receive, and regular photos and updates mean we always feel informed and comfortable that he is being well looked after. He has developed so much since being there with his speech, playing and relationships. Compared with stories we hear from other parents about their nursery's we feel very lucky and grateful that our son is at St Lawrence's.

All the staff at St Lawrence's and Rosebuds are second to none, they go out of their way to make our son feel comfortable, Safe and happy at drop off and he always comes out smiling. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of using this nursery / preschool. The team organise visits outside of the pre school so the kids can visit the likes of the local library and outdoor areas and often get external professions to come and meet the children (farmers, dentists etc etc) making learning extremely engaging.

The most amazing staff who I wholeheartedly 100% trust with my little girl. The care and warmth they show her is more than what any parent could ask for. She genuinely LOVES going to nursery and smiles every time one of the staff members come to get her (which says it all really). She has come on in leaps and bounds since being there, and I'm genuinely grateful to everyone there and the resources they have in place to encourage her development.

The staff here are amazing. They truly care about the children and their development. The feedback on the app every day is great and makes my day to see the group pictures and individual observations. The management team are helpful and get stuck in too. Can't recommend this nursery and pre-school enough.

We love this nursery. The staff are so friendly and warm, our child has a fantastic time and is always talking about his friends and what he has played with that day. The communication is really good. Would highly recommend!

I'm so grateful for everything they do and couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. Thank you for creating such a wonderful, nurturing environment for my little boy!

Over the past 7 years we have had 3 children attend the nursery and pre-school settings and have seen firsthand how it has grown and improved. We are very satisfied with the care provided by the team. On a daily basis they go above and beyond and have consistently ensured that our children have been well looked after and prepared for life at school. We have thoroughly enjoyed using the nursery and pre-school and have recommend it to many over parents over the years - and will continue to do so! It has been a conscious choice of ours to continue to use this facility over the local school offer when our children reach pre-school age due to the fantastic relationships and genuine care the staff have made and shown. We must stress that the team, particularly the current staff, are a credit and we will absolutely miss them as our 7 year journey draws to a close in the coming weeks. We wish you the very best for the future and will always look back with fondness about you all.

Fantastic nursery! The staff are spot on with their care and attentiveness! Our little girl has come on in leaps and bounds and we feel very strongly that this nursery has had a big part in that! They have a very good app that keeps you updated throughout the day. Our daughter has such a good day, she runs back in at home time! Can't recommend enough!

After choosing St. Lawrence's for my first son in 2020, my expectations were met and then some! My eldest then had certain developmental delays that nursery picked up on quickly and then referred us to the relevant professionals for further assessment - without the help of the nursery throughout that process, we wouldn't have gotten the results we did and I will be forever thankful for their dedication and attentiveness.

My other children have gone on to attend this setting - my second eldest still talks about nursery and with my youngest still attending and absolutely thriving, it just goes to show how much love and care is put in to what they all do at St. Lawrence's Day Nursery.

St Lawrence day nursery are a brilliant team. With a wide range of activities for the children and staff that engage and interact with the children effortlessly the children always come home happy and cared for.

My eldest attended this nursery back in 2005 and what i love about this place is some of those trusted faces are still supporting children today. My youngest started here back in 2022 and it's just as good now as it was then. The support the staff give to your child's development is second to none. Management are outstanding and nothing is ever to much trouble. Rachael, Debbie, Fran and the team are incredible.

We joined St Lawrence's Nursery in September 2025 and have to say from the first moment I felt like we were part of their family, all of the staff treat the children like they would their own and that reflects in how happy my little one is attending. I cannot fault any aspect of the nursery, the setting, the staff or level of communication and would not hesitate in recommending.

It truly feels like a home from home, and I wouldn't send my daughter anywhere else. An incredible nursery with an exceptional team!
