The Crèche provides a home from home environment that ensures first class care for children aged 0 to 3 years. The Grade 2 listed building is on a self contained site within the small village of Wolstanton and has been established since 1991. The nursery is an integral part of the community, and you will see the team out and about daily utilising local parks, green spaces, cafes, museums and libraries as well as venturing further afield on the nursery mini bus.

With space for 26 children the crèche welcomes babies from any age, that stay until their seamless transition into Southlands Kindergarten. Children's learning and development is promoted through a varied curriculum, swimming lessons, outdoor play, yoga and numerous day trips.

The amazing staff have a wealth of experience and pride themselves in a fabulous key worker system, building relationships with children and their families. The continuity and expertise of the staff team is synonymous with fabulous outcomes for the children. Many of the staff members have been with the nursery between 20 and 35 years.

The health of your child is paramount and nothing promotes growth and well-being more than a nutritional & well balanced diet. Southlands Nurseries aims to provide a healthy & balanced menu which meets local & national guidelines.

Subject to availability of places, new parents are welcome to come and view the beautiful setting and see the children happy and at play.

Southlands Nursery is by far the best Nursery around! My daughter has attended for the last 12 months from the baby room, to the little group and now the big group! She will continue onto Kindergarten too! I feel very happy and safe to leave my little girl in their care. The staff are extremely professional,
kind and caring towards all the children. My daughter is learning so much and loves going each and every day. I will always recommend Southlands over and over again!

A Truly Special Nursery -
This nursery has a warm, homely environment where children are encouraged to thrive. The staff are nurturing and attentive and the chef menu provides a wide range of exposure to different textures and flavours.
What makes it unique are the endless excursions that offer incredible
hands-on learning. The setting is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed with seasonal themes and topics.
We feel so lucky to have secured a place here - there's no other nursery like it!

Southlands is an excellent nursery! The staff are professional and kind and made my child feel welcome and cared for from the beginning; the transition was effortless, and my child has learned so much already and looks forward to going each week! I would happily recommend this nursery!

Excellent nursery! 5-stars! My little girl started in June 2021 and absolutely loves it! All the staff are amazing and go above and beyond as always! I definitely recommend this nursery. My little girl will stay here until kindergarten.
